For what you get for your money it is good; two large pieces of pizza and all you can drink soda for $ 6. Yet, it’s simply not awesome pizza. Do go for your basic slice of pizza lunch.

I’ve ordered from here before and it’s been great but this time was just ok. The pizza is fine nothing special. I ordered thin crust with pepperoni and garlic and there is very little garlic on any of it. I’m more disappointed in the Arancini. There is practically no meat in it and all rice. I wouldn’t recommend ordering it. All in all not the greatest pizza ever for the price of 24 but it’ll do in a pinch.

So my son talked me into ordering from DaNicos again recently. Called– they know your info from caller ID– you confirm the delivery address they ask you. Order, hang-up, realize I «didn’t mention coupon» so within 4 – 5 minutes of order I TRY to call back. No answer. Call again– let ring over 20 times– no answer. I continue calling every few minutes to the same no answer– Until I pick up cell and call from a different number! Guess what– yep someone answers. I explain I forgot to mention coupon and he says fine no problem. About 5 min later he calls back and says the driver had already left so we’d have to talk to him about. I look at time– it’s only been 20 minutes since I ordered!!!(Sometimes they can be fast) about 15 minutes later the driver rings bell but when I tell him about coupon he says No he cannot do– doesn’t know how to do. Well his tip got a little smaller and I tossed every menu out– told my kid Never again– done! Terrible service and with all the other pizzerias in town there is no reason to continue to support a business that treats customers like they don’t care

This is my go to place for pizza. For $ 5 you get two huge slices that taste amazing! Their pizza isn’t greasy at all which I love, and it’s the perfect balance between sauce and cheese. The crust is always nice and crispy too. Also, major props to the cashiers for still being friendly when the clientele is 90% obnoxious teenagers!

In never give one star reviews but here it goes. I went in there tonight to buy my staff some pizza. I asked for 3 slices of sausage and 3 waters. The kid behind the counter said«I can’t sell water with the slices». Ummmm okay… I said«well just charge me for them. I don’t need the combo or whatever». So he said no. He gave me the slices in a big box. He said he has to ask his manager. After waiting she came over and both were talking about me as I’m standing there. I said if you can’t sell me the bottled water I want a refund. I couldn’t believe it. She pretty much slammed the water at me with an attitude. I told her to go f– herself and get rid of the f-ing attitude. That’s not like me but at that point I didn’t care. I walked out. I’m in a great mood today but couldn’t believe it. If you don’t like your job don’t take it out on me. You applied to work there honey. Not me. Also, why can’t I buy bottled water with pizza when you have bottled water for sale?!? There are so many competitors in the area. As a neighboring business, we will NEVER be back. The pizza was good but seriously, for $ 18 i could have went anywhere else.

Loved how nice staff is here. They where very informative and patient. Big slices for not much. Pizza was very delicious. My son loved the pepperoni pizza. Great location. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. For a hot Friday, it gets very busy. Definitely recommend.

… was a great day today to eat outside, but this place is over-run by kids and soccer moms so I had to sit by the curb — I wouldn’t have minded, but the slices are not all that good to merit sitting on a planter box — Very doughy, dull and needs more sauce, cheese and spices! But it’s filling and I guess a good bang for the buck(the slice is actually 2 pieces) — If I was right there walking down the street and hungry I might try it again… otherwise there are plenty of other places to eat!

Took a motorcycle ride out to LaGrange on a beautiful Wednesday night and stopped for food. A friend suggested Di Nico’s having had it before and telling us how it is comparable to Nonna’s, which is an inexpensive, go-to, late-night option for huge slices and unlimited drinks in Alsip and also Oak Lawn. It was surprisingly crowded inside the little store for a Wednesday night, but this is LaGrange and there’s a lot of people generally walking around so I guess that’s to be expected. Lot’s of high school and young people here! We ordered slices of sausage and cheese. I must note there are lots of other options including salads, subs and frozen yogurt. The sausage was coming out in a couple minutes so we filled up our drinks(in cups that are literally identical to Nonna’s cups) and took a seat. Pizza came out steaming hot but after we were able to dig in I realized that this was $ 5.50 more than well spent. I’m not sure where else you could get this much food and unlimited drinks for this cheap. The best part of it all is: the pizza was genuinely tasty! No, it’s not some kind of premium Aurelio’s or something but it’s definitely better than some of the chain places. ~1000s of calories, 100s of grams of carbs, and 3 full motorcycle riders later, we agreed Di Nico’s was a good choice. Overall the experience is identical or perhaps better than Nonna’s pizza, the $ 5 and some change for a gigantic slice and drink appears to be a fail-proof restaurant structure. Di Nico’s was consistently busy the whole time we were there. 4/5, great!

Great sandwich and pizza joint. The pizza is a new addition. Thin crust only when we were there, but they said deep dish will be available soon. The thin is well seasoned in a way that’s unusual in this area. Friendly service and outdoor seating. We’ll be back!

Thanks a lot for the crappy pizza, ordered thin crust and I got a double crust crappy pizza!!! How disappointing!!’ Also with every bite the whole damn topping would slide off the pizza and onto my chin which caused a slight burn!!! Last time I order from there. Almost 30 bucks for a medium with sausage and green pepper. Should have ordered from piasans, at least they know what thin means!!!

I have ordered here a lot over the past couple years and lately the food quality has plummeted. Every time I get my pizza I worry if it’s cold, burnt or squished. Please go back to your old ways! Your food was great!

To start the quality of food is good. Not great but good. The fact that all dine in orders get a drink is a plus however they pad the prices of their items to accommodate it. I will say I have been here twice, once I completed the pizza challenge and the second for a beef sandwich. The price quantity ratio was good for the pizza but horrible for the beef sandwich. For the same price as portillos I got half a sandwich and not as good of quality. Now on to the gluten free pizza crust. It is a 12 inch which is better than most places but they rob you for extra toppings that it looked like they missed putting on the pizza crust. The taste of it is the redeeming feature of it. All in all would I come back again? The answer would be no unless I won the lottery.

I never had an issue with this place. The pizza is tasty for a good price. One slice of pizza with a small drink is 5 bucks. It always fills me up. Oh and the cheese fries are delicious.

I absolutely love this place. The pizza is HUGE and decently priced as well. The place is always crowded because it’s so popular. I especially love when the weather is nice and you can sit outside on LaGrange Road — which is always lively. Sometimes full of kids, but no problem. Great in-and-out place!

I love this place! It has a great variety of food and some awesome pizza! They are open so late too which is nice so your not forced to eat crap food off the dollar menu! The place itself is nice, everything is clean and updated the staff really takes care of it! Makes for a nice sitting area! The staff is always friendly and welcoming! I’m not sure if he is the owners son or some how affiliated but a gentleman Angelo in particular seems to be there all the time and always has a great attitude! At first I thought he just remember my name cause the conversation I had when I called my order in but it turns out he does his best to become friendly with all his customers! It’s nice to walk into a place and feel like regular regardless of how many people go there or how often you may go! The food is always delicious wether you order delivery or tAke out it’s always fresh! I’m not sure how recent they added this but they also have FROZENYOGURT!!! So after stuffing your face with delicious pizza or anything on the menu it’s the perfect refreshing dessert to have! I think it was a great move as a business owner to provide such a great amenity! Highly recommend this place! If your having tons of people over for football games I suggest their largest pizza they are HUGE and feed so much! If your not sure what to order just call and explain what you have in mind and Angelo will take care of you! If by small chance he isn’t there any employee is just as great!

One of La Grange’s best pizza around. Our family also loves Lucca’s, so will rate both the same with 5 stars. Dinico’s staff is wonderful. The restaurant itself is charming. We have also tried home delivery. Pizza was just as terrific. Everyone should have their pizza here. Keep up the great work, Dinico’s!

This place is quickly becoming my second home! Yes, there are usually crowds of teenagers and family here, and seating may be difficult at times, but their pizza by the slice always hits the spot and I usually take it to go anyway. Oh and it’s now $ 5.50/slice… I enjoy the free frozen yogurt tastings, too!

Flaaaaame as far as «really big pizza slice places» go this is definitely one of the best. For $ 5 you get two big slices and a drink, great value!

Pretty fab. Delivery late-night. They threw in an RC for free, which was a nice surprise. Pizza looked great, tasted great. They followed my complex instructions re: ½ this, full that, etc. Fried dough filled with cannoli filling dessert… meh. Looked great, but was too chewy. I think it needs to be eaten when it’s still warm. Chicken fingers kids meal was what you would expect– for $ 5 I was happy. 2 big chicken fingers, perfectly inbetween crispy and soft Arrincini was good. Decently big size. Medium quality. Mariana sauce it comes with was loooovely. Only drawback: you will know of a place that will deliver you 5000 calories via GrubHub laziness when working/lounging at 1am!
