Crystal Flower Shop

I had a consultation for our wedding flowers. I purchased a «test run» arrangement. I paid $ 50 for a specific, agreed upon color and assortment. First off, Carol the owner was very helpful. Then things went downhill. I went to pick up the arrangement at the agreed upon appointment time. Well, they never called me to tell me the orchids were not in yet. (they claimed to have left a message), I told them I would be back the next day. I received a call the next day that the orchids they put in my arrangement were copper, and not the agreed upon brown. When I asked why, the response was short and rude…“we could only get copper orchids”. I picked them up anyway. The orchids DID NOT match the rest of the arrangement. The roses were on their last legs, and the white orchids were not included. Instead of being given a $ 50 refund, I was offered a discount on my wedding order. Not likely. So, my opinion, steer clear.

In the midst of all of my florist reviews, I forget to review the one that I finally decided to go with. Yes, it is a bit far from us on the north side but I had received a coupon in the mail from them (met them at the Bridal Expo) for either a free bride’s bouquet or 10% off of my whole order/​package deal with them.
We met with Jackie who was very pleasant, patient, and super helpful. She is also the niece of the owner, so it’s a nice family owned business. They also have other stores around the city of Chicago, as well. This is the ONLY store that not only met our budget but was UNDER our budget so we actually *gasp* saved money. Their price included delivery and taxes and somehow, I even upgraded some flowers to nicer and pricier ones, too.
EDIT: For the day of the wedding — the flowers were exactly what I had expected — simple but still stunningly beautiful. They were delivered exactly on time and was a great deal.
