Shipley Donuts

It’s dark. They nvr look theyre open. Terrible selection of donuts. No coffee. All this on a Sun morning! Oh and min 5 purchase on credit cards and debit cards which is illegal (for debit card). You want to buy more? Uh. lol no. Bye. Go to dunkin donuts. The coffee alone is worth it.

Can’t speak to some of the customer service issues others have mentioned, because my husband has been the one to run and grab donuts (twice now in the one week we’ve lived in Kyle).
Since we’ve been there twice in a week, they must be doing something right. I love the fact that they are not overly sweet. The donuts have flavor. My favorites are the plain glazed and the boston cream. OK, going to be honest here… those are the only 2 I’ve tried. Once I find something I like, I have a hard time branching out to try others. However, they are good donuts. Not the best I’ve ever had in my life, but much better than Dunkin and other chain donuts, and certainly a mile better than any store-​bought bakery donut.
We’ll be back!

Best place that I’ve found in Kyle. Don’t bother with the new Dunking Donuts, I’ve tried it and it’s no where close to Shipley’s

Very delicious! Their strawberry frosted donut is so fresh, and it’s wonderful. Also, their donuts are good even the next day and don’t taste stale. (Nothing better than being able to eat and enjoy your leftover donuts!)
Their glazed donuts and cinnamon rolls are very tasty! For coffee lovers, their coffee is also really good! Perfect place to grab some breakfast!
Also, they were open on Thanksgiving morning, which was great! We didn’t have to stress about making breakfast on a busy day.

Donuts are one of my favorite things in the world! I am fan of their glazed cake donut. I could probably eat six in one seating. Their regular kolaches are pretty good too. As much as I like Earl Campbell, the Big Earl kolache is just too much. The prices are reasonable. You cannot really mess up donuts right?

Always consistant. My kids love it. Convenient and fairly priced.

I thought the donuts here were fantastic, and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The sausage, jalapeño & cheese kolaches– AMAZING!

Ok place to grab a quick donut or box of them for work, but the staff is not overly friendly, or at times interested in what the customer wants. Will go back if this is the only option on any given day.

To the girl who was working early in the morning, I know you probably did not want to be there that day. You took my order but I could tell by the look on your face that you had no desire to be there at all. Perhaps you need to learn some customer service and be sure to loose that attitude before coming to work.
I have been to this place a few times and have always gotten good service. This time, the young Caucasian woman was not overly friend and was on the side of rude and inconsiderate. I will go back. This place is much better than the Doughnut/​Chinese restaurant in Kyle.

I didn’t know about Shipley in Kyle until recently! It’s been open for good while (I think earlier this year).
Love their kolaches and doughnuts. Staff is very friendly and nice.
