Pretty good. Boiled egg smell is in fact still there. We had a philly cheese steak and it was very big and very good. Service was good. Would go back.

So I have gone here about six times. Every time I come in by myself or with family the people are friendly. When getting orders the way I need them due to food allergies they are spot on. The food is great and the staff are great.

I wish I could give this location Zero Stars. My husband and I frequent the South Park Meadow location at least once a week. So we were beyond excited to see one open in Kyle. We live right accross the freeway. The convenience factor alone was awesome. We’ve been in 3 times each. We only get one sandwich at Jersey Mikes. The #13 italian, grilled, mikes way with banana peppers. Its so good. Omg. So the first time we went in was shortly after they open. We ordered our usual and the guy behind the counter said they couldn’t grill the sandwich because they weren’t allowed to with in the first month of being open. Disappointed we said we didn’t want it in that case and left. A month passes and as we were headed to the river to kayak, my husband decided to stop in. He orders the usual, this time with out hesitation they grill it. Success. Week later I stop in for lunch. Ask for the usual and the guy tells me they can’t grill the sandwich. I get two different excuses this time. «The company doesn’t allow it, because it compromises the meat.» When I tell him my husband had it grilled there a week ago with out a problem and every Jersey mikes I’ve been to has grilled it with out question. The guy behind the counter tells me «the grill is full.» I look over and there are two sandwiches on the grill. As he starts my sandwich, I told him if he wasn’t going to grill it, I didn’t want it. My husband went in another time after that and they said the same thing. It compromises the meat. Yeah deliciously. We will continue to go to the south park meadows location. Not only will they compromise my meat. They are always friendly and the sandwiches are delicous. If you have never had the italian grilled. Do it, its amazingly delicious. I think they call it the Boss to. Always enjoy your food. Em~

Been here several times and have never been disappointed. Although the friendliness of workers has varied, the flavor of sandwich never has. Meat is sliced right in front of you using a deli slicer and always tastes great, I usually tell them mikes way but keep light on the oil and vinegar. Recently tried the chipotle cheese steak and it was great!

I am a big fan of Jersey Mike’s. I used to go into the one in South Park Meadows. I decided I would go get one of their special sandwiches. I sat there waiting for someone to take my order for almost 10 minutes. The older gentleman was working the grill and he was finishing up someone else’s order. He told me someone would be right with me. There was a young girl and a young guy working. The girl was doing something in the back. The young guy was totally clueless. He passed me a few times as he was wiping counters down. He finally asks if he could take my order. I order, paid and went to go sit down. Wait a minute. He is working the register and preparing food? This is a no no. He grabs a piece of load that had been sitting on the counter. The bread should be in a bag to keep it from going sale. Why did you just grab one off the counter. Who KNOWS how long it had been sitting out. He starts to make my sandwich. He then asks if I wanted all the veggies on it. I tell him that I do want all the veggies, but did not want it Mike’s way. He starts making it and dumps a ton of oil on it. Wait a minute, I told you I did not want it Mike’s way. He tells me, «You said you wanted everything.» I said I wanted all the veggies, but not Mike’s way. He looks at me with a confused look. I was upset that he ignored me earlier. I finally tell him never mind and ask for a refund. He asks the older guy what he should do. The older guy offers to make it over again. I politely refuse. I tell him I am happy to pay for my chips and a drink to call it even. I did appreciate the fact that he tells me that we are square. I am not sure who is making their cookies; but, they are pretty much«bite» size. You can usually get a descent sized brownie or cookie. These looked more like kid sized. I was very disappointed with this trip. I can understand that both the young girl and guy might be new, but you would think there would have been more of an effort on the young guy to take customer’s orders in an efficient manner and get the order right the first time. I understand we all make mistakes. When you glare at me like its my fault when I tell you I did not want it Mike’s Way; but, you do it anyway does not leave a good customer experience in my book.

I love supporting new business close to home, so went by to try Jersey Mike’s. There are 3 sandwich shops at this intersection, so they’ve got their work cut out for them. I wanted to like it, I really did! The meat was very blah – nothing special, nothing you couldn’t get at HEB. They touted their«special sauce” – Mike sauce? Jersey sauce? I don’t know, had some special name, so I eagerly agreed. The woman pulled out vinegar and oil and COMPLETELYDROWNED my wrap. I got it to go and when I opened it about 10 minutes later, it was a soupy, soggy mess. Of the 3 shops at that intersection, this is #3 for me.

Been going to JMikes for years in several different cities. They never disappoint. This time we got a Rueben, a #4 and a #6. Everything was wonderful. Thanks JM!
