Not sure what the problem is here but it seems to be all over the place as far as management/staff. When we pulled up to the window we were charged and given the completely wrong order. And they forgot the drink that went with the order. Not that big of a deal because it was fixable. But when they fixed our order, they forgot the fries so we had to go back in. And when we asked for more of their«serendipity» sauce, she gave us 4 little packs total with a 20 piece tender order + other items. Really? After driving off we realized they forgot our drink again. It’s too much of a hassle to drive back again. After the prior times they messed up we didn’t even get any sort of compensation just a dry sorry. Not that we’re looking for anything free out of this but seriously what a hassle. No good customer service what so ever. At least the food is hot.

I love Chicken Express! …But this location in Kyle has a lot of work to do. I’m not one to post reviews because maybe I just could have been in the wrong place at the wrong time but 3 times in a row warrants a cause for concern! First of all the food was good, no complaints there. My issues with this location is the speed of service, customer service, and cleanliness. I ordered a simple number one with fries and a sweet tea, as I go to fill up my tea the container lid is open with Stainless Steel polish spray all over the dispenser. I know this to be true because they left the can and rag on the drink station. I waited for 20 minutes on my food and watched the 3 orders behind me receive theirs promptly(2 orders included large families). As I stood quietly waiting, my food finally was delivered to me with the worker dropping it off and walking away quickly, leaving me once again waiting for an employee to come back so I could ask for some«serendipity» seasoning, in which this product was just thrown on the counter in aggravation. I really love this Chicken chain and recommend over all others, I hope this Unilocal!review reaches someone that can make a difference but for«now» I’ll go elsewhere.

Normally, the food here, and at other locations, is very good. The customer service keeps getting worse. Crew is different every time we’re there. Simple minded, robotic people who keep asking«for here or to go» and«biscuit or roll» and then go catatonic while you’re giving your order. My most recent visit was the worst with a total dead head at the front. But, who knows —- maybe if we go back the crew will have changed again.

I was in Kyle, but live in Dripping Springs, and purchased 53.00 in chicken, sides and 2 blackberry pies. When I got back home found that the mashed potato side was a mac & cheese and no blackberry pies. When I called back to ask if I could get a coupon mailed for the mistakes they made I was told that I would have to come back in within 2 weeks or they had no way to reimburse me. Bad customer service!!!

First timer, mgr was very helpful, even asked if I would wait so they could fry up some fresh livers & gizzards. They were perfectly fried! Didn’t want a drink, so he offered an extra side. Then, after I finished my meal, I asked for the calorie count(for my Lose it app) and he was very obliging. Can’t say enough about this mgr and this location!!! b

Sweet tea is very sweet, so if that is your taste then get it, food here is cheaper than most other fried chicken joints and they are always fast, and never usually a line in there. The chicken can sometimes lack a little flavor, I don’t think they use a lot of spices when compared to KFC or Popeyes. Their fries and mozzarella sticks are great, the Mac and cheese tastes pre made out of a frozen tray. Other than the Mac their sides are always good.

These have to be the best chicken strips around. In addition to being very tasty, it is very inexpensive and always a dependable meal. The fries are excellent and the food is always fresh. I’ve never had some that had either sat around too long or was too hot to eat.

I love this location. This chicken is always tasting good. I go here quite often. There is never a wait and the«Chicken Tea» always tastes sweet. The rolls are my preference over the biscuits. I like the ice cubes they use. They come out in little tiny balls of ice that keep the drink colder longer. I usually get the chicken strips. They usually toss an extra one in there, which is why I keep going back for more. Chicken Express I love you!

I really enjoy this place! We always get the tenders and an order of livers. My wife who used to say chicken livers just aren’t her thing, now eats half of them! Really good food, cheap price! Only negative would be that their sweet tea is way too sweet!

Having had«the Rooster Comb» injections in my knee, I know what they do with the rest of the rooster. They sell all to Chicken Express. I ordered chicken breasts that were so TOUGH you could not chew the meat. My son ordered the chicken livers. dry, cold, tasted old. CHEAP? Yes! BUT not KFC or Chick Fillet quality.2 stars for sweet tea!

Went there for the first time a couple days ago, excited that there was a chicken place so close to where I live. What a disappointment! From my experience with fried chicken at Church’s, Golden Chick, Publix(The HEB of FL, and AL) the chicken pieces were small, dried out and tasteless. I threw some away. Sorry, I won’t go back.

I love chicken express! I’m there nearly every saturday. It’s sad cuz the cashier recognizes me now. The chicken is always good and the fries are awesome. Their biscuits could use some work as they used to be better but their rolls are really good so I just get those now. I also enjoy the sweet tea. I like how they don’t charge for the extra sauces you can get. One thing I wish they had that the San Marcos CE has is the student special. 5 tenders, a side, roll/biscuit and a drink for $ 6.50 even. Best tasting fast food chicken I’ve ever had.

They just opened and they don’t know what they are doing? Went there and just got fried okra… COLD as ICE! Why would you serve a customer cold food??? Anyways never going back! Just one bad experience ruins it all.

Awful customer service with the supposed manager Tiffany. She was rude and could have cared less that my order was incorrect. I asked for the corporate number and she said there was none and she only had email to contact owners. Me thinks NOT.

We used to drive all the way to San Marcos for Chicken Express so we were happy to have one closer. So far the experience has been just as good as the San Marcos location which means we’ll be here often! The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is due to their prices. They’re aren’t expensive or outrageous but they could be a little lower for fast food. However, it ain’t so high as to keep me away!

Let’s just say I’d rather drive the extra mile to Golden Chick. This place just opened so I might give them another chance in a few months. I had the chicken tenders and corn on the cob. Not sure how you can mess up corn but that was the worst I’ve had in my life. It wasn’t fresh at all and tasted like it was reheated a few times. :(My mom had the catfish combo and said she won’t order that again. I can’t comment on that one since this is a chicken place not a fish one. My tenders weren’t bad but I’d rather go to Golden Chick next time.
