If you want to be treated like a number, this is the place to go to. They don’t return calls and if you actually get someone on the phone they are rude and still don’t call you back. I told Dr. Goman about trying to call numerous times about a mistake on my medicine and she said«oh the phones are broken just keep calling until you get someone». She runs her office like a taco stand.

Do not go to seton family of doctors at hays in Kyle Texas unless you want to be treated like a fast food center and get diagnosed wrongly and given meds that nearly kill you. I have never been to a doctor visit where the doc did not touch and probe to determine what is wrong with you or be put on a 10 minute time for your visit. That’s what happens when a large company manages a clinic and the doc stops being a real doc and you become only a number.

Dr. Goman is good. This is about her staff and their negligence. For my first appointment, I waited over an hour to get called back. That was annoying. Second visit, there was a 30 minute wait. Also annoying, but not the end of the world. My biggest complaint is that I needed an authorization from my insurance for my prescription. I called Dr. Goman’s MA and left a message. I called my pharmacy and spoke with them, and they faxed the auth form for Dr. Goman to fill out. I called my insurance and they verified that Dr. Goman needed to fax the auth form provided by my pharmacy to them(insurance company). The MA calls me back and says it is done, so I call insurance and they haven’t received anything. I call MA back and leave a message. I don’t receive a call back, so after 5 days I call again. Again, I leave a message. I wait 2 more days with no call back and call to speak with office manager, Erin. Two more days go by and I get a message from MA saying it had been faxed. Office manager never called to follow up with my message. Insurance never received fax. I am sick of having to chase down someone to do their job. I will never go back to that medical office as long as I can help it. Which is too bad because I did like some of the doctors. And after reading some of the other reviews on here, it looks like this is their common«practice»!
The check was quick and saw the doctor quickly as well. I went at 5pm on Tuesday. I saw Dr. David Clampitt he asked me a lot of questions bout my feelings and symptoms, and let me ask questions as well with out interruption. He genuinely cares and wants to give u time with out being rushed, so he can provide u with good care. I was surprised and pleased with my experience

First of all, let me say that I really like Dr. Goman and this review is not a reflection on her. This is about the lack of organization and communication of the nurses and staff here. I had blood taken on my first visit and didn’t hear from them for a couple of weeks. I finally remembered to call them to follow up and they said«we have been trying to call you.» Turns out someone entered my phone number incorrectly so they were calling the wrong number. No one bothered to check the form I filled out to make sure my number was correct. Turns out I needed to start some medication, so you would think they would make more of an effort to contact me. They even had my email and mailing address, but I heard nothing from them. What if I had a life threatening condition that needed immediate treatment? They don’t have a system for reminding patients to fast for blood tests. You just have to know before you go in if you need to fast. Too bad if you get there and you ate that morning. Luckily I knew better and was ready. I do morning appointments because I work at the Domain but live in Kyle, so I stop in early and head to work straight after to minimize the time I’m out of the office. They had a weather-related 2 hour delayed start the day of my appointment(which was at 8:15am). I got there and the lady at the front was making phone calls to let people know about the delay and to reschedule them for later. No, I can’t come back at 11:30! I work 34 miles away! I was livid. The weather was out of her control, but why didn’t I get a phone call like everyone else? I could have been to work on time. What a waste of time. I had an x-ray and follow up blood work done. Over a week later, no phone call from them to give me results. I had to call them AGAIN to follow up. I told Dr. Ahmed during an appointment I only wanted a mole removed if it wasn’t going to cost me a lot of money. I told him my step-brother is a dermatologist in Dallas and would do it for free, it’s just hard for me to get up there during his office hours. He took care of it and I was under the impression it wasn’t going to be really expensive since I told him this. A couple of months later I got a bill for $ 211! What a f’ing waste of money. I’m about to look into finding another primary care doctor and dermatologist. This place is convenient, but I’m really disappointed with the way it’s run.

Clearly, I can forgive«1» error in communication. My first visit, the staff neglected to make an appt for a scan ordered by Dr Goman. But, to «not» call in prescriptions, is negligence on their part. I have now made«4» calls to the office in 24 hours. NOONEHAS made a return call. If this is professionalism, I am not impressed. After I posted this I called back AGAIN… told them I still had not gotten refills. That was 2 months ago. I AMWAITING for you to contact me! The nurse is quite rude and NOT available when you need to speak to the doctor.

I scheduled appointments for annual physicals for myself and my husband with Dr. Goman. We didn’t have any health problems, but our insurance covers an annual physical so we thought we’d go get checked out. We scheduled the appointments for the same thing with the same phone call. We both filled out a mandatory physical history form before our appointment. We went to the appointment, spoke to the doctor, and had the same standard blood work. When we got our statements back from the insurance company, mine was completely covered and my husband’s was not. We called Seton and were told that we needed to talk to the office manager. The first person we spoke to said she would call us the next day. When that did not happen, we spent two weeks calling and leaving messages on her voicemail before finally one day we happened to get a hold of her. She, of course, acted like she didn’t know about the issue. According to the office manager, because my husband wrote on his medical history that he had migraines in the past, his visit was no longer a physical but a diagnosis visit. She also said that his blood work was geared to migraines, which is completely ridiculous because he had the same tests as I did and I’ve never had a migraine in my life. Dr. Goman asked him about the migraines, but he told her that Excedrin takes care of them and that was the end of the conversation. She did not treat him for migraines in any way, shape or form. Now, because my husband filled out the history form standard for a physical we owe approximately $ 700 to the office and the lab. It boils down to the fact that the billing department made a mistake in how they coded his visit, and now they refuse to admit to it and change it. I’ve never had so much trouble dealing with a medical office. They made a mistake and they need to take care of it. At this point we’re prepared to take this to the Better Business Bureau and whoever else we need to. I would NOT recommend using this office. It’s a shame because we liked Dr. Goman, but we cannot afford to go to an office that makes such large billing mistakes and then has no procedure in place to correct them.

My doctor Mousumi Chanda-Kim moved here from Victory Medical. I just didn’t want to deal with looking for another doctor. The facility was recently built. The waiting room is big. There’s not many patients around because it’s not known. The place has a laboratory. So no more going to another laboratory and waiting forever to do blood work. They are working on getting an x-ray room going for them. I highly recommend Mousumi Chanda-Kim as an internal medicine doctor. So people of Kyle, Buda, San Marcos and South South Austin please direct your attention to this wonderful place and this cool doctor. They do deserve your attention as they will give you the utmost attention.
