On July 5, 2014 my furnace blower went out I was able to get a hold of Ultimate Heating and Air, a local contractor. They came out right away, which I was really happy because I had to work that day. Also I was going to be leaving town in a couple of days.
Temperatures outside were over hundred degrees. He gave me a song and dance and I did not feel comfortable doing business with him. I knew better but I had him do the work anyway. My mistake. He charged me $ 622 for a blower motor and mount. When I returned, I spoke to several other people and it should have been a $ 250 service call even for being on the weekend. I just hope other people have better luck with Ultimate Heating and Air. I feel ripped off, but it was my fault agreeing to have it fixed. Lesson learned.
