Nice option for sitting outside, but don’t bother with the food. Fish tacos were absolutely flavorless except for the pineapple in the salsa. BLT wrap was equally bland.

Siestas is the poolside-snack bar located near the main Dig Site pool at Coronado Springs. During our first two visits to Coronado the hours at Siestas varied as they never were open for breakfast like they are now just like it wasn’t uncommon for them to close as early as 7pm. Thankfully it seems like Disney has finally standardized the pool hours(The Dig Site pool is now open from 9am-11pm) the same way how the hours for Siestas are now 7am-9pm. If I remember correctly from our visit last month the caveat to those hours would be that the bar side is what stays open until 9pm and the side where the food is rendered actually closes at 8pm which is noteworthy because nothing on the Disney website explains that. Now, why are those hours important to know if you’re staying at Coronado? Well, it’s because this is the only place other than El Centro where you can get your mug refilled(assuming you either bought one or have one via buying a package) and once the bar closes at nine it’s a long ass walk to El Centro for a refill and then back to your room. I’m never partaken in the breakfast offerings and with things on the menu like cereal and milk for five dollars it’s not hard to understand why it’s a bad deal. The lunch/dinner menu is a small but diverse selection with things like a cheeseburger(get the one from Pepper Market instead of this one), Caprese Roll, BLT Chicken Wrap, wings, nachos and tacos. Personally I’ve had the fish tacos(although it was in 2012) and they weren’t half bad as at the time they were using a pretty decent cut of Mahi along with the Lime Pineapple Salsa which was very good. The bar side will get you anything you need although naturally the prices are typical Disney steep(stay away from the highly watered down Sangrias). I will mention that most of the bartenders that I’ve encountered have been really great including one guy who I’ve seen each visit and sadly we remembered each other every time. While not outstanding, Siestas fills the void of a place by the pool where you can get a few quick things without having to go all the way back to your room or to El Centro. Good. Enough.

Siestas Cantina is located right next to the pool at Disney’s Coronado Springs. If you have the Disney dining plan, a meal counts as a quick service credit. They also have a few snack credit options like potato chips, fruit cups, and ice cream. The food isn’t good. Everything is salty. But I guess you wouldn’t really go here for good food. It would just be to fill up if you’re spending the day at the pool. If you have the refillable cup, you can get refills here!
