Mizu Teppanyaki and Sushi

Been here a few times. Sushi is very fresh and skillfully plated. The soup is fabulous and sake didn’t hurt. Attentive staff, friendly. We need more!!! In these here neck of them that woods! Good grief. If they open just one more family dollar or auto zone I will stAb myself in the eye. What a welcome relief for hot tasty and satisfying meal that doesn’t begin with value ands with meal!

My son took me there for lunch I had the shrimp and steak hibachi w/​vegetables. It was good it came with soup and salad w/​Ginger dressing which I love. It was very good the steak was tender and shrimp was fresh. I wish I can buy the Ginger dressing at the store. I sure would buy it. The service was OK the waiter was very nice.

Stopped for Dinner. I’m a big fan of hibachi. I typically do the live dinners but didn’t want the wait so I ate in the regular dining area. The restaurant gave off a more local vibe. It was clean and ambient. You could hear the fun people were having in the next room.
Service was very quick. The hibachi chicken was on special, so prices were great, and the food was delicious.

I’m visiting my dad in Kissimmee and I wanted to get some hibachi, since my young kids enjoy the show as much as the food. This was the closest one according to Unilocal,so we gave it a shot. Upon entering, the hostess was talking on the phone and didn’t put it down or stop talking to talk to us. She resorted to hand gestures and head jerks when telling us where to go. After being seated, the service was quick and efficient. We went on a Sunday evening around 6pm and there was only a handful of people in the hibachi area.
The kids menu was two dollars cheaper than the regular hibachi menu items. The beers were served ice cold in the bottles (I’m not sure what the other review was talking about, with the glass of ice and warm beer) We ordered a kids menu item, with a side of shrimp and my dad and I shared a filet mignon and two sushi rolls. Spicy tuna was good, but a little different than I’m used to since it was full of crunchy bits. The eel was to be expected, and tasted fine. The veggies were good, but a little bit more oil and sauce than I really like. The only real downside was the fried rice and the salad. Salad was almost inedible for me. Very watery dressing and basically gross. Fried rice was tasteless and very bland. The steak was great, incredibly tender and delicious. The shrimp and chicken were very good as well. Prices were much more reasonable than any other hibachi I’ve been to. The cook was excellent and personable and other than the hostess, we had excellent service.
I always check out bathrooms, and I wasn’t disappointed. The décor even in the bathrooms was very clean and the sinks were very cool. The whole restaurant was very clean and modern.
Overall, good meal!

It was wonderful. Reminded me of when we lived in Japan. This will be our spot. The waiter was very courteous and customer service oriented.

I absolutely love this place and I’m so happy they decided to open one in Poinciana. The food is always fresh, the staff is amazing! This is definitely my new favorite place in Poinciana!

I love this place! I’ve been to all of their locations and this one has the best atmosphere, service and food quality. Always greet you with a smile and they make you feel like you are being taken care of. And the bathroom is clean.

In poinciana Florida this is a gem of a sushi place. Not expecting to have really good sushi here, but was very pleasantly surprised. They have hibachi, too. $ 7 glass of Pinot Grigio was also very good. Open on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Shared a big sushi boat and a naruto roll. Delicious!

Went on a Tuesday night. Not very crowded, but service was great, food was outstanding, and portions were large. One of the better hibachi/​sushi places I have ever been to. Try it you will like it!

Went here today for the first time figured I’d try something new in the area prices were good, sat in the hibachi section and the food quality was just terrible. Salad dressing watered down, yummy yummy sauce watery, and the food was very very bland. Although kobes is a tad bit more expensive it’s way better than this place and you get more good delicious food and friendly actually talented cooks. The cooks at mizu seemed fake and kind of miserable. Will not be returning but it was good to try out at least just wanted to share with anyone else who wants to go here!

I love the sushi here! Very good.

The sushi was okay the drinks was not the server brought a room temperature beer with a glass of ice and said that is all they have to serve for a restaurant This is not acceptable

Refreshing to enjoy such an amazing experience in Poinciana, Florida! the Menu– amazing selections w/​fair prices. the Service– Top Notch (to say the least). The Atmosphere– Very Clean and inviting! way to Go, will def be returning soon!

Just moved here from California and I’ve been trying to find a good sushi place. Well I’ve finally found it! The service was a little slow but worth the wait. If your looking for good food and a clean comfortable place to go, this is it. Try it you’ll be satisfied.

Very psyched they opened one in Poinciana. Been there once already, and it was a good visit. Service was a little slow, despite the place being fairly quiet the night we went. The food was well done and delicious. If I were to have complaints, it would be that their menus are hard to read since several items are not explained. The other note would be that the appetites soups are $ 2 for a small cup of broth, which is pretty expensive.
We sat at a regular table, and are looking forward to trying their hibachi tables. Overall, it is probably the highest quality dining experience in Poinciana, though it is worth noting that they have very little competition for a quality dining experience.

Been here twice since it opened a few months back. Pretty good food at a decent price. It’s been empty both times which shocks me since there’s not much around. The serve is great too. Will be back.

Everything was great! Sat in the hibachi section. The soup was nice and hot. Ordered the Burning Man and the tuna was nice and pink! Both chef and server were very friendly. Food was perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back!

The food and service was great!!! Me and my family enjoyed the hibachi very much. Will definitely come back again. So happy there’s a Mizu in Poinciana.

My son and I had to explore this place when they opened. When you walk in you have a choice of sitting on the hibachi side or the dinning room and if you choose the dinning room you can sit at a table or the sushi bar. My son chose the sushi bar. The sushi chef was very nice and did a great job putting together our order he was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything we received. Everything was very fresh and extremely tasty. My son loved it so much we went back for his 8^th birthday and had the hibachi grill. The rice and shrimp was very tasty and not over salted like a lot of hibachi grills. The hibachi chef was very entertaining and it looked like he was having as much fun as we did. This is a must try for anyone in the area. The food and serve are wonderful!!!
