It’s hard to fathom why we do — or don’t do — things sometimes. In the case of LeMay’s, this especially applies. I used to order lunch from them on a near-daily basis in the mid-90s, then stopped until the other day. And guess what? Their stuff is still made-to-order from freshly made dough, tasty veggies, good-quality meats and cheeses; the sauce still spot-on. I’m a New Yorker, and I know Italian. This is truly about«as good as it gets» once you leave The City and The Island(though I hear CT now lays claim to the best pizza, Chicago be damned). As a refresher, we had a large veggie pizza and calzone along with a meatball sub.(All right all right, «hero» to my people but a «grinder» to yours.) Same as back in the day. Add both chicken and eggplant parm subs to that and you’ve got my old orders. They’re on their way. And btw, I’m glad they no longer add that little pepper. I guess it held their prices down. Yet another reason to keep giving them the business … mine, and hopefully yours. In the Publix Promenade parking lot.

My wife and I heard from some friends that Le May’s Pizza Restaurant was very good so we decided to check it out. We ordered a Margherita Pizza(fresh tomato, mozzarella and basil) and an Eggplant Parmesan hero. The Pizza was absolutely delicious with a perfect crust that was cooked to perfection. The waitresses are also very friendly and personable! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a pizza that will not disappoint. This restaurant is located in the Poinciana Publix Shopping Center.

This is by far the best pizza anywhere in Florida and if anyone tells you different, they’re wrong. I just wish the place was bigger.

Excellent little place hidden in a strip mall. We ordered a pizza and the flavor was incredible. Great service– very friendly and fast! Will definitely be back.

104⁄100 in 201 challenge I have been going to Le May’s for well over 20 years now. This is the second location they have been in, in that time period. They were first in a small strip when you first enter Poinciana which is sort of not there anymore and now for the last couple of years in the Publx shopping center down the road. This is a family owned business. The restaurant has counter service and a few tables to sit at with waitress service and delivery service. Nice murals painted on the walls and of course the red and white checker board tablecloths. There antipasti salad is stocked to the bream with meats and cheese such as salami, cappicola, mozzarella and provolone. The grilled chicken breast salad is seasoned just right. The greek salad is amazing. Insane amount of feta cheese and black olives. Great dressing. The best item they have are the chicken wings. Either breaded or not the taste and array of sauces are point on. They do not skimp on the toppings on their pizza or in their calzones. Worth the money and the trip. I have even catered a school function from here. The were more then willing to work with me on the budget I had.

Have you tried that crazy wrap thing? Don’t! It’s a scam! People in Poinciana seem to love it, though. As if wrapping some object around your body could in any conceivable way reduce the amount of fat cells. It’s ludicrous. You know what else is ludicrous? The traffic to get to Lemays. From Osceola Parkway, it took an hour. One miserable shit of an hour crawling down Pleasant Hill while asshole(s) in jacked up truck(s) thought they could cruise by on the shoulder and cut in. Fuck that guy. Fuck Poinciana. Fuck Pleasant Hill Road. More like Unpleasant Flats Road. Fuck the Crazy Wrap Thing. Fuck Ted Cruz. Then there’s Lemay’s. It seems to be a pizza place first and an Italian restaurant second. That being the case, I would not get one of the Italian dishes — I would go straight for a calzone. For $ 8 or so, you get this object the size of a small cat, packed with cheese and meat. My god. If you don’t want to gain a pound from you meal, however, go with the Antipasti. It’s a salad with about a half pound of meat and cheese on top. Sadly, the famed Firecracker Shrimp have increased from $ 6 to $ 10.50. I did not purchase them. Lemay’s set in a modest, fluorescent-lit lobby of a strip mall. The attraction is the food. It was an outrage how the food contrasted with the shit that is Poinciana driving. There was only one woman working to serve the entire place, something like 10 tables. Maybe that’s how they keep the prices low. She did an outstanding job despite the conditions. Besides the fact that you have to fight through Ted Cruz’s Satanic Hellscape to get there, Lemay’s is a fantastic dinner spot whether you’re eating in or taking out.

My favorite place to go for Pizza. .The food is delicious and made fresh. I especially like the eggplant parm sandwich. I’ve eaten almost everything on the menu and I have to say that it’s very hard for me to choose. .I mostly always order the calamari(very crispy and well seasoned) and a slice for our appetizers. We’ve been patronizing this place for ten years and recommend it to everyone.. The staff is quick and friendly. There’s 2 downfalls, we wish they had a bigger dinning area. Please open on Monday !!

This is definitively one of my favorite restaurant around the city. The staff is pretty cool and friendly. I love the Lasagna, I love the Cheese pizza, I love the Veggie pizza, I love the garlic bread, I love the meatballs… I don’t really love the spaguettis with marinara sauce(they aren’t bad but it was not as delicious as I expect it). It is worth the try

We live in Poinciana and LeMays is our go-to for Italian. But I’ve recently discovered something else: FIRECRACKERSHRIMP! Huge juicey, succulent shrimp drowned in Buffalo sauce! They’re only $ 6 for a dozen. I could eat a bucket of these things! The shrimp looks to be breaded and fried first and then coated in a buttery buffalo sauce. And the blue cheese sauce has chunks of blue cheese in it! Take my word for it. order at least 4 orders for football games. you won’t regret it.

I have had amazing experience when I ordered delivery, great delivery guy, polite, friendly, and very appreciative of the tip given to him :) their subs are also amazing(I got the steak and cheese sub — too good :)) Remember, don’t forget to order some fire cracker shrimp!

Lemay’s is a hit or miss kind of place. It all depends on who is doing the cooking on the day you go. I’ve had the egg plant parm. twice and both times the dish was different. I wish they would offer more pasta selections. All you can get with your meal is spaghetti, not angel hair or anything else. I’m not too crazy about their red sauce. When I order pasta I usually get the garlic and oil. The pizza seems to be pretty consistent. It is usually pretty good. Being from the birth place of Pizza(Brooklyn, NY!!!) I tend to be a pizza snob. However they are better than Boriquen or Slice of NY. BTW they are CLOSED on Mondays.

I ordered here awhile back ago. The food wasn’t all that good. Was going to try to give it another shot tonight but when I tried the number on their website(4078702700) it said that they were closed. This I tried their number from google(47078702500) and it said the same thing. It’s 6:30pm on a Monday evening. I’m not sure how they can be closed unless the business is no longer opened.

First time ordering delivery from here. Very yummy! Ordered a cheese pizza with extra cheese and it came with a lot more cheese than I was expecting. Also had the Mediterranean wrap, so good! And Caesar salad the croutons were nice and crunchy and tons of cheese on salad too. I will be ordering from them again!

Bad service today. Not happy. It was a delivery order… our order was wrong, first of all; we ordered calzones and we got pizzas instead. Not too horrible until we called back letting them know the order was wrong. The woman on the phone Christine was very unpleasant and difficult. She spoke over me and interrupted me while I was speaking. She didn’t take responsibility for their mistake and she didn’t offer anything to make our experience good again. Overall, she gave us the run around and a huge hard time for THEIR employee’s mistake. Bad management. Horrible service. I’ve always been satisfied with Lemay’s. The food is always good and usually service is good too. This time, however, I am deeply upset with how I was treated over the phone about my order. My dinner experience is not pleasant because of what happened over the phone, and that in itself is upsetting. Sad to say, but I am going to rethink ordering from Lemay’s next time I want pizza or italian. There are definitely more options around that provide better service than I was given tonight.

This place does have good Pizza. Other than that I don’t know how much of their food is homemade. I wasn’t feeling well and when I asked about the soup, I was told it was brought in and heated up. Meaning it’s out of a can, and they add cheese so it can appear fresh. The deserts look yummy, but I’m sure those are store bought too, because they look like the typical deserts you can buy at any store or cheap wanna be Italian place. Don’t get me wrong I order from her all the time, but I stick to the pizza. I just want some fresh food when I order/go out. If I can buy it at the store, I don’t want to pay someone to simply«heat it up» for me.
