Firehouse Subs

Eaten in the Woburn Ma, Greensboro NC, and now the Kissimmee Fl locations, everyone of them has been excellent. I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t yet!

Decided to try this place based on a recommendation from a friend. First off the cashier and people behind the counter were quite rude and mumbled frequently so it was impossible to hear anything they were saying. The sandwich topping options are far less than that of Subway (which is much cheaper by the way) and the sandwiches are about 30% smaller than Subway’s. They are thinner and give less meat. Sorry to say but it did not even near meet our expectations for the hiked prices, we will be getting our subs from Subway.

My wife is a gourmet cook, so she’s VERY picky about food. I’m just a normal sub fanatic. Firehouse Subs fully satisfied us both. EXCELLENT food, friendly service, clean restaurant. We’ll be back very soon.

Great customer service great sandwiches. An overall pleasurable experience. We prefer it over subway because the meat actually tastes real and the toppings seem fresher. We also love the soda machine, with so many combinations to choose from. Come by on your birthday for a free sub ;)

Great customer service. Walked in and was greeted by the entire staff. Let me take my time and decide what to order. Food was excellent. After eating the staff remembered my name and said goodbye. Would highly recommend it.

They have the best subs around. Way better then subway.

I had the #10 beef, cheddar, BBQ brisket sub. I have to say one of the best subs I have ever had! Fresh and delicious. The lady preparing it recommended it when I told her I was starving and wanted a meaty sub. Clean building and comfortable dining atmosphere. I was even asked afterwards how I liked the sub and asked to come back and visit. Great experience.

The soda machine was a huge hit for me and the kids. Thousands of flavors. The subs are steamed and very juicy. I like it better than subway. The prices seemed a little higher but not much. I have never had friendlier or more helpful staff in a fast food joint, other than Chick-​Fil-​A. If you haven’t tried it, you should.

Awesome service and food! Was surprised that they take your food to the table; as well as clean up after you finish! And the manager as well was very engaging!
The other Firehouse Subs in which I’ve been to a couple of times is in Fort Lauderdale off of 17^th Street Causeway. Did not get service like this at all!

Very poor customer service, the kids that were working there we more worried about cleaning the place than making proper sandwiches.
I asked for a toasted cheese sub and they tried to steam the cheese. When I explained that I wanted toasted they were displeased.
Their gloves were dirty and the kid used the same gloves he used to clean to make my subs. Never going there again, do yourself a favor and stay away.

Highly disappointed in the subs we ordered. We had driven by here for weeks while staying in Florida and finally decided to order take out. We had the Italian and the Firehouse Hero. The Italian tasted of only ham, forget the other meats. There was no melted provolone or Italian dressing, so unsure how this could be an Italian sandwich. The Hero was similar. Lunchmeat was not tasty, condiments non existent. All in all, terrible experience and we won’t be back.

First off, your sandwich is either 8 inches or a foot long. Secondly, it’s super fresh and tasty. Thirdly, they serve you after you give your order and pay. Fourthly, the soda fountain kicks ass.
The sandwiches have fun names such as «hook & ladder» «Engineer» and then some «normal names» like the «italian» and «club on a sub». Figuring it’s a Fireman-​started place, I had the Hook and Ladder which was a delicious sandwich with ham, turkey, melted monterey jack, and «all the fixings» — Onion, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard and a dill pickle.
At first I thought 8 inches would be too much but I ended up devouring the entire sandwich!
The super fun soda fountain looked brand new, similar to the new ones they put in at the Downtown Disney AMC theatre. You fill the cup with ice, pick your brand (coke products) and then your flavor all on a touch screen. I had Strawberry Fanta (not always found everywhere here) and then a half cup refill of Fanta Fruit Punch. You could get any flavored soda diet, or light (coke zero/​sprite zero) and I’m sure you can spend quite a few minutes deciding over all the flavors.
Wish that I had ate here more often when I lived in Flordida but it was delightful and the workers there were so friendly!
