I’ve been here 3 times within the last month and for good reason. The prices for the amount of food you get is amazing. Unfortunately, some nights there will be a ~30 minute wait for a table and even when you do get seated, the servers are usually backed up and it would take a while to receive your food. I highly recommend the Country Fried Chicken. Just don’t get the Cheddar Club sandwich, it’s not good.

***WORSTSERVICEEVER!***I had ordered to go at the Osceola parkway location and they told me it would take 15 minutes for the order to be ready. I go to the restaurant and the servers tell me to go to the end of the bar. I go there and stand there waiting for someone to greet or acknowledge me. 5 minutes go by and somebody asks if I needed help. I told them the order name and then handed my credit card to pay. After paying and receiving my receipt, none of the servers mentioned how long it was going to take for my order. So I stand there staring at the bartenders, another 10 minutes go by, finally I ask someone and they said it will be ready shortly. Another 10 minutes go by and a lady with a headphone on asked if I was being helped and I said to her that I’m waiting for my food to be ready. 5 minutes go by and the lady with the headphone goes to inquire about my food. She comes out another 5 minutes later and places the boxes on the counter near me(not in front of me) and didn’t plan on mentioning that those are my boxes and neither did I receive any bags for my boxes. Then I had called the store to speak to a manager and waited on hold for 5 minutes. I hung up and called again and asked the server on the other side of the phone to transfer me to a manager because their service was absolutely horrible. She said she was sorry and that all managers are busy. After explaining to her that I had to wait an extra 40 minutes for my food which should have been ready in 15 minutes, I told her if I can’t talk to a manager I will post a complain on the Internet, and she replied«go ahead.»

After having a good experience at the Semoran location, we decided to go to this location. The server, Nicholas, took at least 15 minutes to give us our menus. He was not the most attentive server and he is for sure forgetful. We didn’t have our utensils, he forgot our drinks as well as other requests but he was sure chit-chatting away on the table across us with other servers. As for the food, our appetizer was cold and so was my main entrée. I did not bother to say anything because who knows how long it would have taken to get my food re-heated.

For some reason, this location is always crazy busy… expect to wait a long time for a table. Once you get inside, you’ll get to enjoy a really LOUD interior while you wait FOREVER for your food. I had the spaghetti/lasagna, and when it finally arrived it was barely above room temperature. Fortunately, the dish was so dull, I couldn’t be bothered to eat much. I may have asked to have it heated up, but I’m sure it would have been ANOTHER hour until I saw it again. With so many restaurants available in this area, I still don’t understand why this one is always so crowded.

Absolute worst place I have been to in a LONG time. We waited at least 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once they did we waited another 30 until we got our food. When they brought our food out they completely forgot my entrée and my son had already fallen asleep without eating. They never checked back to see how everything was or if refills were needed. Our check came and it took 20 minutes for them to return my credit card. Absolutely horrible.

I kept it simple tonight, I ordered off the lighter menu and had the lemon pepper white fish with the ginger rice and salad. I’m so going back for that dish, it was perfect size and delicious. This place seems like its always crowded. I felt lucky to find a place at the bar. I can’t imagine how long the wait would have been if I had wanted a table.

Not a bad place to stop on your way to Disney World and would like comforting food like the cheese balls and chips with queso. The soups are not that great but the fried Cajun fish was pretty good. The service is good and friendly.

NoAfter a friend’s suggestion we decided to have lunch here. The appetizer trio was great; the mini mozzarella sticks were delicious. The chips and queso were very good, loved the queso. However; the food was very average for my taste. My sister ordered the Monte Cristo and honestly I didn’t see the appeal of it; it was just a piece of dough deep fried with some ham and cheese inside with a side of jam sauce. Maybe on a good day this tastes good but to me it tasted like fair food. It came with a side of rice and beans, sadly, the beans were super dry, like if they scraped the bottom of the pot. We spoke to the manager and she kindly change her ordered to the chicken fried steak which super good. The chicken was tender and it was crispy on the outside and absolutely great. I had the Spaganatta which a Meh. Needed more cheese and sauce, was kind of dry. For dessert we had the cake and ice cream and cookie with ice cream. Both were very very yummy. My only complain was that the cake had to much frosting and it and the cookie could had been warmer. Service was pretty good. Overall, not impressed.

I came here with my husband, against my better judgment, to see if the hype about this place was at least partially based in truth. Sadly, it is not. The décor was pretty bad but that could have been overlooked if the menu had not been as disjoited as the«theme» of the restaurant. I was so hungry that the huge menu and underpriced items(underpriced for REAL scratch made food) did not tip me off to the quality I could expect so we went ahead and ordered. I ordered the sirloin and shrimp dish, and asked for a mid-rare steak. My husband ordered ribs, mad and cheese and coleslaw. After our lackluster appetizers(which arrived seperately with a long delay in between them) our entrees arrived. My tiny six ounce steak was very overcooked, it resembled a leather shoe, and ate like one. My shrimp were cold, they had obviously died in the window. My husband’s ribs seemed reheated. The mac and cheese tasted like a bag of velveeta. There wasn’t even a hint of homemade bechamel or cream anywhere in that dish, I spent years eating that crap before my palette rebelled in revolt, I’d recognize that«flavor» anywhere. The waitress then had the nerve to give me an attitude about taking back my dish. After waiting 10 minutes for a MID-RARE6 oz. steak to come back I gave up, paid for our drinks and apps and took our appetites elsewhere. Cheddar’s your food is not from scratch unless you count scratching open the bags out of which it is dumped. As far as we are concerned the curtain has been pulled back and the wizard is revealed… Cheddar’s is a glorifies Quick Service cafeteria. And under that guise the food is actually quite overpriced. If I ever again decide to intentionally offend my palette with food that tastes this bad I’ll just pop on over to the nearest school cafeteria and get it for a fraction of the price at Cheddar’s.

We went with a large group of 6 adults and 3 children. Definitely not fine dining –food was sub par –location was crazy busy ! My husband got the«spizana» terrible ! Rubbery, bland and no taste ! I could not find anything that looked remotely appealing so I order a basic Cesar salad. Fifteen minutes after everyone at our table got their food my salad finally came out… The waiter and waitress were nice enough –it’s not their fault the place was slammed –will definitely not be going back. Note: This place is low cost but you get what you pay for !

Scratch kitchen, fairly priced cocktails and good customer service. This place gets packed! Well worth going with friends and having a chill time while eating good food.

Best word for this place? Meh. It is outrageously overhyped. It is always packed, usually packed with screaming kids and the food is fine. Fine. Not worth a wait, not with the very dirty silverware with food already on it, just not worth it. We waited about 20 minutes for drinks, but the waitress did apologize and said that some people hadn’t showed so there was a mix-up on what tables were whose. But after it all, the food was subpar, and not worth the obstacles you’ll have to face to get to it.

WARNING false advertisement for food made from scratch! This place is not fresh. Not the salmon or shrimp. The fried shrimp was mushy and no way fresh. I don’t know how they have people out of the door here! I guess because the prices are cheap but seriously, I can go to TGIF for better shrimp and salmon.

I love this place. The food is great. They also have the calorie counts on the menu. Great prices for the type of restaurant it is. Great place for a romantic date, get together with a friend and even to go on a business lunch. Servers are very knowledgable and friendly.

This place has great tasting food with cheap prices! We love it! Their queso is delicious(for those that don’t like hotness)! Their portions are reasonable. I don’t think I’ve gotten a meal that was unhappy about. The ambiance is neat, they have these cool looking fans, a nice fish tank… The lighting works great for them. The employees are nice and do have good recommendations, they have not disappointed me.

Cheddar’s was decent, but with the exception of their drinks, nothing special. They have the usual Chili’s type food on their menu. I had the cheese fries and fried shrimp, which were good, but not great. However, their pain killer drink was huge and super yummy. There was a long wait time(40 minutes), but that was expected considering the area it’s in. Service was good, the wait staff and hostess were all friendly and attentive.

Last time I was in the Orlando area my best friend and I spotted this restaurant and the name kind of stuck, so we decided to visit this past weekend on our way to Disney. The parking lot was a frenzy there were so many people here on Friday night. We came in and got a buzzer with a 30 minute wait, but were seated right away. The restaurant is lively and there are a ton of appetizing options to choose from. Everyone in my party opted for something different. I had been caving bbq ribs which I am extremely picky for. Wow was I impressed. This restaurant is going to become a must go to moving forward. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the prices were phenomenal. We also had drinks — the pain killer. Soooo delicious. Check out Cheddars. You won’t regret it.

Don’t let the stylish outside fool you — this place is a glorified Chili’s. To start, it should be called Cheddar’s Grease Kitchen. I’m pretty sure this place is owned and run by Paula Deen’s grease and butter empire. Or by the makers of Crestor. Everything we ordered was dripping with grease. It took 2 whole napkins to blot a single chicken tender, and even then my fingers were shiny and slick with oil. The Wisconsin cheese bites were what I imagine cardiac blockage looks like. Inedible. My husband’s fish tacos were mediocre at best. On a positive note, the place is tastefully decorated. Service was excellent. In short, I’ll never come back here unless my new goal is life is to end up a cardiac patient or as the lead role in my own TLC show about being removed from my house by a crane.

Cheddar’s was good the first time, okay the second, and horrible on our last visit. These are the problems: BUSY — For some reason, the BVL/Loop area loves this restaurant, so most likely, you’ll face some sort of wait any day you choose to go. LOUD — Because they are so busy, despite how big the restaurant is inside, it is as loud as it can be. We came here to escape a loud environment and ended up in one worse. Not much they can do about that, but there you go. SLOOOOOOOOOW — This is the main drawback. They are so, so slow, that we FINISHED our appetizer BEFORE they brought our strawberry lemonade drinks. I don’t remember this happening anywhere else, ever. Good thing we didn’t choke on our chips. Our waitress complained that it was the bartender’s fault, which became her personal mantra for the rest of our dinner(somebody else’s fault). SLOOOOOOOOOW — Then, after they brought our drinks, it took them more than 40 minutes to give us a pot pie and fried chicken. The waitress said it was the kitchen’s fault, and that everybody put their orders at once. She also blamed the pot pie, because apparently, it takes a long time to cook. Mind you, their pot pies do not have full crust, just the top. Why can I bake them quicker at home than this restaurant can is something they need to figure out. Anyway, by the time our food got to the table, we were no longer hungry. That’s another first for us. SLOOOOOOOOOOW — Second round of drinks was brought by another employee, then our waitress showed up complaining that she was waiting for the drinks at the bar and somebody else had took them, that the whole restaurant was working against her. I almost said: «Thanks somebody else did, because you haven’t brought anything to us quickly.» CONCLUSION — Avoid this restaurant. I’d rather eat at a fast food place and get a stomachache before wasting nearly two hours in an establishment that doesn’t even have stellar food at that. I mean, I can’t even rate what we ate because we were so pissed at their inefficiency. I don’t think this is an isolated incident upon seeing similar reviewers complaining about their service. Look, the only reason to go here was because it was affordable and the food was okay to good, but there’s no point at all, to come here, when 5 minutes down OBT, you can go to Cracker Barrel, probably spend less, and get better service and food. That’s a sign your restaurant is in the steep decline to ban-lists, when Cracker Barrel does a supremely better job than you in service and outdoes you in taste too. At least, they are honest enough to admit to their faults when they commit them than just blaming them on every single other member of the staff. AVOID this restaurant! Seriously, I’m doing you a favor.

5 star for a chain restaurant? Whatttt?!! That is because this institution really made a great first impression on me. We were greeted and seated instantly once we stepped foot into Cheddar’s. The décor is quite appealing with a spacious dinning room. So the food is made from scratch if you haven’t already guessed. Food Items are reasonably priced with generous portions. The drinks are so cheap that almost every table had at least one drink. Wisconsin Cheese Bites — a little twist to the basic mozzarella sticks. Slightly different texture but in the end, it is just fried cheese… very good fried cheese. Tortilla Soup — me gusta. Chicken Tenders — wtf? I did not know chicken tenders tasted this good. It was extremely crispy, fluffy, and somehow maintained moisture. It’s not dry at all. New Orleans Pasta — good dish, even better dish when you hear it up as leftovers. This paragraph is reserve for Megan, our server, because she was the real MVP. Megan was friendly, courteous, attentive, and just exuded great vibes. Rarely do you have a server like Megan that enhances your dining experience, especially at a chain restaurant. Keep up the great work Megan and don’t stop smiling! My overall consensus on Cheddar’s is that the food and drinks are very affordable without sacrificing quality and quantity. The amazing service was just an added bonus. I’m excited for my next visit!
