I came here during my Disney trip, and I wish they had this restaurant in NYC! I took a risk and ordered the Ahi Tuna, and I was simply blown away. I did not expect the tuna to be so fresh especially from an American restaurant since I only ever eat raw tuna from sushi restaurants. I live in NYC so I know fresh tuna. Their boneless wings are also fantastic. They’re actual pieces of chicken with thin breading. Their fries were awesome as well. Perfect crunchy outer layer and soft inside. I tried their gator tails, my first time trying gator anything, and it wasn’t bad. It didn’t have a funky smell so either gator meat doesn’t have a funky/gamey smell or they prepared it so well I couldn’t taste it. Fantastic service(could be that since I’m from NYC, we often have rude servers here), and amazing food. Next time I go back to Florida, I will dine here again!

So I was on vacation visiting my boyfriend in Orlando. We decided to meet with some of his friends at gators. Since I am down for anything, I was fine with going. The bar from the outside looks like a standard locals bar. When you walk in it feels like steriotypical Florida. All the trailer trashiest people. I was fine with this because I felt like I was really in florida. We sit down with our friends and the first thing they tell us is that they don’t give water refills! They also told us that it was all you can eat wings night. How in the heck are you supposed to have wings without water?!? The waitress finally came and we were about to order. I don’t really eat much so me and my boyfriend wanted to share all you can eat wings. The waitress told us that they don’t let people share… i understood because then entire families could just pig out… but i knew i just wanted to pick at whatever my boyfriend didn’t eat. The wings were ok. They were kind of greasy and the flavor wasn’t the greatest… it was kind of weak. I got the traditional and the carribean jerk flavors. I couldn’t finish the second serving of wings and so we asked for a box. They didn’t do that either!!! The waitress could clearly see we were irritated. She was at least nice enough to secretly take off one of the orders of endless wings and secretly gave us a to go box… that’s the only reason I gave two stars. Whoever the owner is really needs to figure it out because customers don’t like being charged for things that are unnecessary. apparently the one close to dr phillips is better… i don’t know where that is but they kept saying it. so for whoever decides to visit this place… don’t.
