Russ’ Ribs & Bbq Shack

I was in the neighborhood Saturday afternoon after dropping the little one at a birthday party, so I decided to try out this little BBQ shack, that’s in the Kirkwood Farmers Market.
I went with my first-​time standard, a pulled-​pork sandwich. It came piled high on a good, sturdy bun for I think $ 6.50. A can of soda made it an even $ 8. Sides would be extra, but would have made me miserably full. It was a big sandwich.
It comes with sauce — not sure if there is an option to get it plain. The sauce they use is very thin and vinegary. Can’t say I was a big fan — just a bit sour for my taste.
Nice guys, though, quick and reasonably priced. There are a few tables around, some with umbrellas if it’s hot like it was Saturday.
I wouldn’t hesitate to try something else next time I’m here at lunchtime.
