Affordable good teriyaki on the go. The restaurant looks so much better since they remodeled a year ago. They all know me when I walk in

I heard about this place through the show Munchies on vice, they coined it as the best teriyaki in Seattle and I’m extremely glad that I drove the hour and twenty minutes to get here from Morton WA. The chicken and the beef had the greatest version of teriyaki flavor I have ever had in my life. And I’ve had teriyaki from other cities such as NYC and Boston but this is leap and bounds beyond that. The lady who works at the front was extremely nice, food came out super fast and most importantly everything about this establishment felt clean. Next time I’m in Seattle I’ll definitely be here and indulging in this amazing teriyaki restaurant.

They score highly in lunch quality and quantity — a rare value, since you can save half your lunch for dinner. The restaurant is clean, well-lit and the employees are friendly. Quality drops off quite a bit for dinner(usually over-cooked and tough), so plan on lunch and you won’t be disappointed. Also, we like the sauces they place on all the tables, but if you get your food to go, you get a vastly different version we can’t eat. Their katsu sauce is pretty awful too — nothing like what we buy at Uwajimaya. You can’t miss with anything on their menu that’s spicy, teriyaki, or katsu-based.

Seriously waited forever for a to go entrée. Others who came in and sat after I came are being served. Hmmm. Awesome. I don’t think I ordered a well done steak. Not even hungry anymore.

Update: the owner must have taken his business reviews to heart, because customer service has definitely gone up! Food you receive dine-in is a bigger portion that you receive for take-out, so if you can, eat there.

I cannot vouch for the inside of this place, I have seen it from the car, looks pretty typical of a lace like this but I love the food! Nice on a rainy cold Day! Reasons price and very yummy! Grab a side of gyoza, little too deep fried but liked them.

Don’t mistake this one with the one in Redmond near Malt & Vine! This place is great! Portions are more than enough! Quick, fast, easy, & always always delicious! Haven’t had a bad dish from them yet! It’s just teriyaki of course, but I have been to places that have ruined a simple dish such as teriyaki. The people there are also very kind, which makes any visit even better. I’ve been going here since 2013 and have never had a complaint! They also have brown rice, A++++++!

Kirkland location: If the food was good I can’t tell you because the person mopping in the dining room was using some pine/ammonia scented cleaners that made my eyes burn and choked me out. I had to get a to-go container mid-meal. I wont be back.

Check your to go orders. My chicken teriyaki did not have any sauce at ALL. Just plain chicken and rice. Of course it happened when it was impossible for me to take it back. Blah!

I want to give it three but it was good! I wish I would have asked for extra sauce because all mine was under my chicken which kind of sucked. Dipped it in the sauce that came with my salad and wanted to die it was so good! Idk what that dressing was but it was amazing! Wish I would’ve known I could upgrade to brown rice. We called in our order and it was ready by the time I got there!

Location: 10⁄10 Food: 9⁄10 Service: 10⁄10 Take out: 9⁄10 For the teriyaki you get and the price combined, it’s affordable and delicious. The customer service was perfect. He might have been the owner or manager, but he greeted us and offered the punchcard for us to return again soon. Heads up, this is my first time stopping by. Definitely recommend.

Good discovery for fast food in Kirkland. What I like most about the food is that it is MSG free. Also, they offer brown rice instead of white. The size of the meals is more than ample and the price is good. I usually call in my orders on my way home from work and it’s always ready to pick-up within 10 minutes of my call. Staff has always been friendly with a smile on their face.(Don’t forget to get one of their frequent customer cards if you’re a repeat customer to collect stamps and get free meals.)

First of all they are open on SUNDAY’S ! In addition to that miracle this place is great, they don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing. Okay, brown rice is an extra $ 2.00, however everything else you could imagine to ask for, no extra charge. They have no MSG as well. There are 2 other teriyaki places right next to where I live and I go out of my way for Nasai. Food is amazing and service is phenomenal! Oh, and I forgot to mention they have a punch card, buy ten get one free.

Used to be our favorite but just had our last terrible meal from Nasai. They now use frozen veggies that dont even belong in fried rice(lima beans, green beans and corn) and they can’t even cook them long enough so the veggies are still cold. They get orders wrong, rice is over or under, and they just raised prices!!! Never again. Not even to use my filled up punch card.

I came here for chicken teriyaki. I ended up getting the lunch special: an order of chicken teriyaki with a free side of fried gyoza and a drink. The teriyaki was middle-of-the-road: nothing offended and nothing stood out. Service was friendly, and fairly quick(I probably waited less than 10 minutes).

Depending on the cook and how busy it is here the food is not that bad. They give you huge portions for reasonable prices. You can also upgrade to brown rice for $ 2. I ordered the chicken and beef combination with salad for $ 7.59 and could barely finish half. The salad with the sauce had a soapy taste to it. I really didn’t like it. The meat was a little burnt for my liking but I’m sure if I ask them not to burn my food next time they wouldn’t.

Worst service ever. Waited 25 mins for a to go order. The new management has killed the great service and food quality. Don’t eat here go to another teriyaki place.

This place is good not great. It’s 2 blocks from work and is a fast, easy and delicious. You pay $ 7.50 for Chicken Teriyaki, White Rice and Salad, not $ 10.50. There is better teriyaki around but you have to sit down, have drinks and spend about $ 50 for two people. I’m a fan because I can place an order on the phone and 9 minuets later pick it up, take it back to my office and have a tasty meal. I’ve never had watered down salad dressing like Danielle C. did. But, she’s from California and likely a little more picky. If your in the area of this restaurant and are in the mood for teriyaki, then this is an excellent choice.

This was one of the worst teriyaki places I have ever visited in the Seattle area. I got the chicken teriyaki with gyoza. The chicken was a bit dry, sauce was whatever, and the salad’s sauce was very very watered down. It looked like someone sprayed water on the lettuce. The katsu was not much better either. I felt a bit nauseous eating the katsu. At least I only spent $ 15 on two dishes.
