I’ve been coming to this place for years mostly for brunch, today I was really disappointed about the food quality and service. Today I was craving those great nachos, so we stop by and seat at the patio, when i looked at the menu there were no more nachos in the menu, I asked the server what happened? He said they only serve those at the bar. Then the girl on the table next to mine ordered nachos and somehow she got her nachos served by the same server, lame! I asked him, so you can serve nachos out here?! He just blamed the manager

We usually come here for brunch on the weekends, came for dinner tonight. Have never been disappointed. They had a special menu tonight, had Seafood pasta and Baked chicken(comes with potato au gratin n corn ragu). Loved dinner.

My wife and I were just here in their outdoor area. We just came for a few drinks and an appetizer. The outdoor seating is nice! Our server Claire was awesome! The drinks are strong! Not saying good or bad but definitely not complaining! I would definitely recommend this place.

We came for Nachos in the sunshine. We sat outside and were told that you can only order nachos in the bar. I asked the waiter if we could pleeeeeese get them outside. He said no. I then checked with the manager, and was told they consolidated their menu, and there is no «button» for nachos outside! Seriously? This isn’t rocket science. I told her that we had driven to Kirkland especially for their nachos, and asked if there was a way to make it happen, and I was informed nope. Disappointing service, we won’t be back. Who knew walking a plate of nachos out from the bar was that complicated? Well we are NACHO customers anymore!

Went here with friends tonight and they refused to seat us because combining tables together is supposedly against their restaurant policy! Are you kidding me? Not only did they seat us last weekend by combining tables, they called me a liar. NEVERGOHERE!

Hector’s is a solid neighborhood restaurant with solid American fare. It is the sort of restaurant that you feel secure taking your unadventurous friends or relatives to without fear– they’ll find something to eat that won’t weird them out. I like their Kale and Quinoa salad, and they make a big, mighty tasty BLT that is very generous with the B. I’ve had mixed experiences with service at this restaurant over the years; sometimes it can be very slow, so I tend to avoid eating there if I am on any kind of schedule. The prices of most things on the menu are a bit on the high side, but portion sizes are generous so it does not feel like robbery. I’ve often ended up with a second meal’s worth of food in a to-go box after eating all that I could. They have a very nice outdoor patio– sit outside if the weather is good!

Decided to stop into this local establishments, great looking bar. Friendly bartender. Having an old Seattle lager and club sandwich.

If it’s Sunday brunch and your dining solo, you’ll have no problem finding a seat at the bar. It was pretty busy, so I can’t speak to the quick availability of a table if you have other guests with you. The Salmon Salad will be worth returning for a second tour; I loved the roasted beets and goat cheese it was paired with. It left me satisfied and happy! The side of Link Sausage also blew me away. I’d never had anything like them. Delicious! The Sweet Potato fries were just OK, not something I’d order again. I found they had too much deep fried batter. One star is deducted because of the slow bartender. He eventually gave me a menu, eventually took my order, but never offered more coffee and didn’t give me a water. Maybe he was hungover. But still, that shouldn’t be an issue.

Loved the sun soaking patio on a good day… Service was good although the wine selections were too sweet. A lot of people were waiting for a table at first because the lack of cleaning crew…

Great breakfast! I can’t stand fillers, bread, potatoes etc… So the Protien Power breakfast was perfect! Thank you!

Good standard food but overpriced. Omelette for $ 13 not so bad but a small ham and cheese Quiche was $ 16. Good service. Noisy. Parking behind. Hashbrowns and toast not hot.

Worst food we’ve ever had. The hamburger was extremely dry, prime rib dip was soggy and salty, eggs Benedict was terrible, under cooked and old, Mac and cheese was runny, tasteless and disgusting

I’ve had better Mac and cheese that was frozen and microwaved, definitely not worth $ 20 Salmon is quite good though

Yum! Another winner for breakfast. High quality, great tastes, excellent service. Monday morning not too busy, probably very busy on weekends. A great experience overall.

So nice to see that some things in Kirkland haven’t changed. Hector’s has been a fixture in the heart of Kirkland for over 40 years. Very impressive that they are still going strong after all this time. The warm ambience when you enter the large doors of the restaurant stays with you throughout your visit. Delicious cuisine served with the friendliest and most professional staff. I’ve always loved their BREAKFASTS!!! Love, love Sandy. A fantastic member of the wait staff. The«Queen of Multitasking» with helping out customers. Most impressive. The thing that always stands out with Hector’s is that you’d think with the beautiful décor and fancy menu that it would be expensive… but it’s not!!! A must stop when visiting Kirkland!

I loved this place for Sunday brunch! I met my friend here on a grey Sunday to watch the Seahawks game at about 1:30pm. Parking was very easy in the lot behind the restaurant, my friend & I sat in the bar area and we were asked our drink orders quickly. I went with the«Manmosa», haha and for food I ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict with crispy potatoes. My friend and I had lots to chat about so the time went by super quick and then our food was brought out. My brunch was soooo good! The crab cakes were soft & delicious and the poached eggs were fluffy to perfection. I ate almost all of my food and there was a lot on my plate. Prices are a bit high here, but I think it was well worth it as a Sunday brunch treat. Customer service is attentive, food is awesome, I liked the ambience and anytime parking is a cinch I’m all for it! I’ll be back here soon enough.

Came in for a Sunday brunch and was seated quickly even with the crowds. First reaction when I received my plate, «that’s it?» I ordered the Salmon Lox. Three bagel halves, cream cheese, and 4 thin slices of smoked salmon. I really was hoping for more for $ 14 a plate. When they said off the lite menu, they weren’t kidding. I had to take stuffings from a friends burger for additional substance. I would suggest with maybe a bowl of fruit to go along with the dish. So if I was to comment right off what was given: bagel halves, small and not burn. Crème cheese did it’s job. Smoked salmon wasn’t out of the ordinary. I’ll have to remember for next time, don’t order off the light menu if you are the slightest bit hungry.

Kirkland has a ton of amazing restaurants that are fun to pop into — and Hectors is one of them! They are pretty classic high-end pub food, I would likely head somewhere else for a full meal, but Hector’s is perfect for a cocktail and bite to share. We had the hummus plate that was on HH as a light snack before heading out to an event.

This place is so quaint and cute in the Kirkland area. Since I will be living in the Bothell area, I’d definitely come back here again. The food was really good. The boat dock and bay is a walk and a skip from this restaurant, which is nice. It’s a great place to have daily breakfast or Sunday brunch.

Hector’s is a classy restaurant in a classy town with a pretty solid sports bar attached. There’s a good number of TVs and I tried some of my friends burger and fries which was good. Good beer selection. I would say this is a good spot to grab some food and a pint.
