Definitely the best Chinese Food in the Hudson Valley!!! I especially love the vegan roll special. The décor is beautiful. Service is friendly but could be better.

This rating reflects food only, sushi specifically. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile(yes, in English) and seated right away. Inside, the décor is beautiful! The tables and floors were impeccable! The waitress explained the menu, brought our drinks and answered a couple of questions. She took our order and at this point it was definitely 5 stars. The soups and salads were delicious. But, the sushi, not so much. Don’t get me wrong, it was good. But, just not the best I’ve had.

Placed an order at 11 am and was told it would delivered at 12(ridiculous for Chinese food but ok). At 12:20 I called and was told the driver was 5 minutes away. At 12:45 I was told the driver was almost there; that the driver was lost and went to the wrong adress. I inquired about how they were going to handle this as surely my sushi would be warm and soup cold. I was told the driver just left 15 mins ago so it should fine(note above that this does not match). I asked for some sort of compensation and was told they would call me back in 30 mins. In the end we got the food at 1pm the sushi was hot, soup cold, missing items, and just gross. I tried to call but they wouldn’t answer the phone. Still no call back, not even an apology. I threw the food out and ordered from Wing Shui, food there is cheaper and better tasting. .and it was delivered piping hot and with in 29 mins.

Combination Chinese and Sushi place. I’ll rate each one separately because they are certainly different animals. Before I get into the actual menu items I’ll talk about the establishment itself. I eat here frequently for take out and occasionally for sit down. It’s a very comfortable, clean well decorated place. Take out is always timely. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They also have a thing called«spot on». I have an iphone app for it but you can also use a little key chain card they supply. Basically after 5 visits you get $ 5 off, after 10 you get $ 10 off. Now the food. To me the best Chinese food in Kingston. Their deep fried dishes like sesame chicken, fried wontons ect seem to be lighter(a lighter oil perhaps) and aren’t absolutely coated with sauce. The meat even seems to be better parts. I’ve enjoyed many meals here from soups, to apps, to entrees and have enjoyed everything I’ve tried. They do make exceptional dumplings both NYC style, chicken and fried. As far as the Sushi. It’s not my favorite in town but I still really enjoy it. They use more rice then most traditional rolls I’ve had. So the rolls are thicker and fill you up a bit more(not a great option if you are looking to stay low carb). Their edamame is usually buy one get one free, so you get a lot, but has less sea salt on it then I like. I suppose that’s good if you are looking for lower sodium, I can always add more if I thought ahead(I think I just tend to like a ton of salt). Recently had a holiday dinner here and brought along my infant daughter and mother(who is wheelchair bound). They were accommodating to us and all our needs. Very friendly and didn’t miss a beat even though the place was very busy.

I have order from this place numerous time. The Chinese food was alright… like any other Chinese takeout food, nothing too special. Recently, I heard their radio ads about the soup noodles bowls and steamed buns, I was excited to try. So, I ordered two soup noodles bowls: miso ramen, and beef udon… asked for steam buns but they dont have any. The seafood on ramen tasted like frozen seafood pack that you buy in the grocery store. I was more disappointed with the Beef Udon… the soup base taste like instant flavoring paste… no flavor… and it was $ 10 each bowl… pricey for the ingredients they used.

I’ve heard their radio ad several times and decided we would try a new place. Though their Chinese maybe good their sushi is terrible. I ordered a roll that had seared tuna on the top and it tasted and smelled as they had used a bic lighter to sear it. The sushi/sashimi dinner was even worse. As a child I learned to fillet fish thinner and some of the fish on the sushi was warm and unappetizing. Will not be going back.

It’s good Chinese for Kingston. I’ve gotten take out from there time and time again but recently, the family ate in. It was really tasty food with fast service. They have a really good sushi bar as well. The cool thing is that the manager saw me with my Wo Hop t-shirt on and said«You’re a Chinatown guy, huh?» I nodded with a smile and he said«We can make custom Chinese dishes at request. Give us 2 days in advance and we’ll get the supplies from the city.» That’s what I’m talking about… You have to try it out here… I will be eating in more often but in the meantime, I’m thinking of a list… hahahahahaaa
