Lived here a year before ever trying this place, that was definitely a mistake. The burritos, especially the El Ranchero, are gigantic, delicious and inexpensive. The horchata is really good too. Highly recommend this place for a casual to go meal. You can feed the whole family without going broke, which is more than I can say for some of the other restaurants in this town.

Great food! Large portions! Everything was fresh and delicious! I had the veggie burrito, and my fiancé had the chicken tacos and cheese quesadilla. We also ordered the guacamole bowl with chips — SO GOOD! Check it out!

We just love coming here. Had their tacos for the first time and were not let down. I had the asada and shredded beef. So flavorful and the fresh double corn tortillas were super soft. The hubs ate shrimp tacos and grilled fish tacos. He loved them. Again, the atmosphere was on pint and those smiling faces are still happy to greet us even 8 months later!

I was looking for a good casual Mexican restaurant and they had good reviews, so I tried it. I was immediately struck by how clean, modern, and professional the restaurant was. The 2 sister owners made me feel at home and that they were very pleased that I was there.
I took at a chance on the special Chile Verde Fries and was glad I did. The French fries were freshly cooked and crisp. With the the hot meat, sauce, and melted cheese it was a great enter that I couldn’t even finish.
I had such a food experience that I will be back.

This is great place! Awesome customer service and amazing food. I love that their menu is simple but delicious! I am seriously here 2 – 3 times a week! Did I mention HOMEMADE TORILLAS and the Horchata is perfect!!! When you are in Kingsburg don’t forget to stop at El Burrito House!

As I was traveling from my business trip back home I stumbled upon this little hidden gem. I was pumping gas and read the handmade flour tortillas, that automatically won me. As I entered I noticed it was very clean, the service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I opted for the chile verde burrito and took two carne asada burritos to go for the wife and my mom so it could bring her back memories of my grandmother’s tortillas. All I have to say is WOW one of the best burritos I ever had. The burrito bursted with lots of flavor and the soft handmade flour tortillas were the cherry to the burrito. The next day I had what was left of my delicious burrito and it was as soft and delicious as when it freshly came out. I will definitely make a stop here again. Good job!!!

While they’re are a few new burrito places in town, I keep coming back to this one again and again. Sometimes in the same day lol, I highly recommend their breakfast burritos and asada fries! The staff are great and very welcoming, a nice little place to grab a quick bite when you’re in a hurry or anytime of the day really.

Large portions but it doesn’t impress. Tortillas are hand made but they get hard and cold by the time you bite into it. The food is on the bland side. It is good, but nothing to write home about. The breakfast burritos I stay away from, just because I have had way bettet. Everything else is good enougj.

Stopped in for lunch heading down the valley. Read the great reviews and had to o try. Damn yes!!! Staff were very friendly, and took our order right away.
I ordered a carne asada torta. It was large itch lots of fresh veggies, and lots of perfectly cooked carne asada.
My friend the a quesadilla with lots of grilled veggies, and carne asada. It was huge, and she said delicious.
Highly recommend. Very nice salsa bar as well.
We had these two items, and drinks for 18.00!!!

El Burrito house started as a place that was next to the gas station I gassed up at but the friendly staff made every transaction personal to me, thus making every visit memorable. The staff knows your name after just a few visits, even over the phone, and the food is just perfect. From the handmade tortillas (this one won my girlfriend over) to the fresh meat, and your choice of spice level and flavor from the salsa bar, this place is through and through a perfect small town atmosphere for a city like ours. Would recommend to anyone!

I came in from LA hungry and Unilocaled to see what the possibilities were. Being somewhat of a foodie I shoot for quality first. I wasn’t feeling it for anything specific but when I saw Mexican food my mind was set. So I read the reviews here and freshly made tortillas sealed the deal. Walking in I noticed it was a small restaurant but very clean. I was greeted by a very nice young woman who said the food was fresh and very delicious. I thought yeah that’s what they all say. But I wasn’t disappointed at all. I ordered a carne asada burrito, that was one of the best I’ve ever had. Now this is coming from somebody who prides himself in being a foodie and above average cook, eating at many many places from LA to Mexico City and I have to admit this is one of the best I’ve had. Thanks and good luck with the restaurant.

Food and service are always great! My favorites are the Pochos and the California burrito. The tortillas are hand made and that’s what makes this place shine. The owner is always nice and helpful. The salsa bar has some good stuff. We always call in our order and it’s ready in 15 minutes.
The menudo is awesome too!
The only con is the prices are a tad high and when it’s busy, parking can be a pain. The pros severely out weigh the cons. I’ll continue to visit often.

Just stopped by on our way from Arizona to Napa. Our first meal on the trip and I read about this newly opened restaurant on Unilocal since it was next to the gas station we refueled at.
It was the cashiers first day and she was kind courteous and informative of the menu.
My dad & I shared the California burrito and ranchero burrito sub chicken. They were the recommended entrees. We loved the ranchero, flavorful and spicy. The California’s was a little dry and needed more salt, simple fix, add a little hot sauce and all is good.

This place is brand new (opened 2 weeks ago) so of course I was dying to check it out. They have homemade tortillas, a salsa bar, and a good sized menu. The food was good and reasonably priced too! The service seemed a bit slow but I think it’s because they’re new. The owner was very apologetic about it and still served everything with a smile. I would definitely go back because of the homemade tortillas and the great service. I certainly hope it lasts longer than the place before it!
