Best wings I’ve ever had. Good location. Cool if you want to cross the street and check out the abandoned psych center. The bluff is close which is nice too. Some trashy people coming through here but the wings make it worth the trip.

So the wings here are absolutely amazing! They have a wing night special every Wednesday and they always taste amazing. They get saucey throughout the night. The only downfall is the deal is $ 15 and they have a $ 20 minimum on their cards and they have very old fashion registers so they cannot make adjustments either. One of the male bartenders is definitely on top of his game but recently I have noticed him saying things in a rather rude and unpleasant way. Possibly the only downfall to the bar was my unpleasant treatment from him. Other than that-you will have a pretty fun Wednesday night with beer and wings!

From what I gathered when I was at this hole in the wall bar was it has great summer time potential! Nice open concept structure with cool high ceilings. There’s a nice sized bar inside and opposite of that there is a great sit down area with HUGE sliding doors that flow through to the outside for the summer times. TV’s in all the right spots, lined behind the bar and in the seating area. Fantastic pool table! The felt on this thing was in great condition for sitting in a bar. They have a dart board as well that it tucked in the corner. When we went there the kitchen was closed(bummer) but we orders dominoes instead haha! From what we heard though and from what the bartender told us the food here is great and the wings are killer so we will be returning to try them! I think I heard the bar tender say that Wednesday night is the night for wings. What I especially loved about this bar was the outside. There is a whole separate bar and seating area in the back of the joint along with a HUGE fire pit. Wait no, let me rephrase that. With a HUMUNGO fire pit. We didn’t get to see it in action but I can only imagine!!! The staff was super cool, food is supposedly great, lots of parking and a great indoor-outdoor setup. The one star that I took away was for the lack of decoration in this place. Nothing really sets the mood, it’s sort of bland and there’s not much of an atmosphere. Other than that I can’t wait to come back here and try it in the summer!

If youre not at Celtics or Doc’s youre at Shanahans. The mozarella sticks were great. The portions were huge. It seemed kind of like it was falling apart but it also looked like they wanted it to look like that.

The food here is great. The wings are amazing. The clientele is far older. This is not a place for anyone under the age of 30. And that makes it ever more amazing

surprisingly good food for such a random divey bar out in the middle of nowhere. If you’re visiting Kings Park, you should stop by, relax, and get some wings.

Yes, it’s a dive bar. But it’s a dive bar with amazing wings, good burgers, a fire pit, and a tire swing. You feel like you’re partying in the woods– summer is a great time to go. It’s a more mature crowd, so if you’re 22, it might not be your thing(you should get the hell out of LI and go into the city, ya crazy kids!).

Had a great time each time I am here. Food is good and prices are fair. Nice spot to shoot some pool and play darts. Drinks are mixed perfectly and Paulie is the man! Ask him for a few magic tricks, Im sure he’ll hook you up!

Have always had fun at this place. It is in the middle of nowhere… no street lights and no houses except for a small house located right on the property. The building seeems to be converted from someone’s home to a bar. The«backyard» or outdoor area is great with an outdoor bar, fire pit, and sometimes an ice luge. Sometimes this place gets packed but other times there might be only a few people there.

I grew up in Kings Park. I moved away for years so I never got to come here but would drive past constantly while in high school and see the ruckus on the outside and wonder what happened within. My last trip back to New York I got to see and I realized I wasn’t missing out on much. When I got out of my car in the«parking field» I fully expected some Alabama sized gator to crawl out of the wooded area and but my testicles off. That’s what gators want right? Anyway, this place is just kind of sad. Very towny feel to the whole thing. If that’s what you desire however than have at it. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here next time I’m in town… well, I’ll probably do whatever my friends are up to.

Dive bar. Kings Park seems to have more than their fair share of dive bars and this place is one of a kind. Situated mostly on the grounds of the old mental institute, legends abound about the ghost that inhabits the place. The food is very good as is the pool table. Bartenders are very good. The place overall is seedy at best. You wouldn’t know it is here unless you followed someone to find it — as I did. Bathrooms were nasty. Parking field in front.
