This is a small place and seating can be an issue, but it is worth the effort. The menu offerings are surprising for such a small place, but they do a great job. There is also no wall between you and the kitchen, so you can see everything being done. The wait staff were all very friendly and the service was impressively attentive. The food was all very good. As a group we had the steak and eggs, country ham, biscuits and gravy, grits, and the potatoes. The potatoes weren’t stand– out and the gravy was spiced a little different than I like, but both are minor concerns. The country ham was done better than most places and the steak was of pretty good quality. Even the sweet tea was good, not being overly sweet like most places do it. Everyone left happy. I’ll be going back.
