Mrs. Mac’s always has good food. Weekends get packed, so go early, otherwise forget it.

My party of 4 so enjoyed this family style restaurant. We’re finding our lunch perfect as there was a huge selection. We so enjoyed there beach fish & water décor. Our server Jessica was truly a charming delightful waitress making our table feel right at home. Two ‘s up for Mac’s Kitchen here in Fl Key West.

love it — love it — love it. Service was so friendly and food was fantastic. Had grilled fish and grits and both were beyond words!!! We also had an omelet with hash casserole. All food rocked all other breakfast places we went to over 5 days. Thank goodness we don’t live down there, otherwise we would really be heavy while eating there everyday. One down fall was the cinnamon roll. Not much to write home about. Too dry inside and definitely needed more icing.
keep up the great work here. BTW — this is the Mrs. Mac’s on the side of the road and not the one on the medium strip. (they have 2 locations and we only tried the breakfast one

I grew up going here as a kid and to this day is still my favorite restaurant in the keys. Best place to sit back and have dinner or lunch with friends and family and have that key-​ish feeling. The key lime pie is like an orgasm in your mouth. Anyone that has been there and from out of the area requests me to bring them one.

Holy crap what a meal! You wouldn’t expect to have such a perfect experience at a roadside place in the median lane of the highway… but bring your appetite. We had sweet tea and enjoyed the best hogfish sandwich I’ve ever had! It was two layers, with tomato & lettuce on a big roll — with enough shoestring fries for four people (I of course justified my lack of breakfast for eating them all). For dessert try the Key Lime Pie! You know how companies use the worn out line «world famous» Well for once it fits! The key lime pie was the best I’ve had… Wow!!! Our waitress was fabulous and friendly, the food amazing & the restaurant although busy — it runs like a restaurant should, quick, clean efficient! Can’t wait to go back!

This place had really great service. Our server was fast and friendly.
Décor wise, I like the shadow-​box style tabletops in the booths that are fun to look into. They also have this delicious hand scrub in the bathroom that made me keep smelling my hands the rest of the day.
Last but not least, pretty decent slice of key lime pie. I would eat it everyday.

I eat here almost once a week. Fantastic food, atmosphere and people. It’s kind of «dive bar» meets great food.

Another great landmark that we finally had an opportunity to visit. Mrs. Macs lived up to our expectations. I had a Reuben, one of my favorites and it was delicious. Our group also tried the crab cakes, the conch chowder and the pulled pork. We all left quite sated and took two pieces of Key Lime pie for when we get home. Crazy fun atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, excellent decaf coffee.
Will definitely include in any plans to visit the Keys.

Decent food if you aren’t looking for anything fancy. The food is a bit salty but the staff is pretty nice

I’ve spent a lot of time in Key Largo and earlier I had the chance to grab lunch here for the first time. Mrs. Mac’s has a wide array of food, from steak to sandwiches to seafood to pastas, and it just goes on. I tried the crab cakes, conch chowder, and had some key lime pie. Crab cakes were especially delicious and full of flavor. I was full to order anything else, but I anticipate I’ll come again and try something else. Décor inside is also really cool and there’s a good amount of parking and seating for a Key Largo restaurant.

Great food and service. A fun place to go if you are visiting the Florida Keys. Don’t forget to check in so you can get a free Key Lime Freeze, they are delicious. I also highly recommend the coconut shrimp. I also thought the rum runner was great. There are two locations about 500 yards apart from each other.

We stopped here for lunch on our drive from Key West to Miami. This is the very best key lime pie ever. Lunch was good, but the pie is worth the stop all by itself!

We went there 4 people and were quite content. The waitresses were very observant and the food was fine. We had calamari and fried shrimps as appetizers, followed by porthouse steaks, a bahama burger and a children’s cheeseburger. The lemonade was good and a better option than canned sodas.

The best key lime pie I have ever tasted. It was featured in Vogue magazine. Don’t think you can share a slice because you won’t. Order a whole pie! You must try the chili too. The perfectly balanced flavor of spicy and condiments will leave your pallet wanting more. Rick, our waiter was friendly and very funny. Overall, this was by far the best dining experience of my trip.

I have no idea how this place has 4 stars… the service was absolutely dire.
We were greeted by the smiley hostess who showed us to our table, and was introduced to our waiter Kelley (a boy).
I checked in with Unilocal and got a free Key Lime Freeze — a thick limey concoction that was not unpleasant but certainly not deserving of the celebrity the restaurant claims.
From then on, it’s all downhill.
I ordered crab cakes, alligator tots and sweet potato fries. My friend ordered a steak sandwich. When asking what choice of sides there was, Kelley reeled off about 15 options back-​to-​back without taking a breath, despite my friend telling him what he wanted after the first five choices. It was obnoxious.
When the food arrived by a different waitress, Kelley comes running over, telling her that the crab cakes I ordered (as an appetiser) had come out as an entrée (with a mound of unwanted nasty crinkle fries on the side). He then said «well I’m just gonna leave this here» and walked away, leaving me pretty embarrassed.
The food itself was a homogenous mass of fried yellow in paper baskets. I barely ate half.
When asking where the bathrooms were, Kelly pointed in the back corner. Not a word. I could understand if this level of service came from a touchy customer but I think I barely said five words to him.
Avoid here at all costs. There are some lovely places to eat in Key Largo. The only good thing about this place is the seashells decorating the inner rim. Literally.

This restaurant is a decent first stop to «island time» your vibe regarding the pace of the Florida Keys. The décor is fun with seashells and other novelties encased in box display tables. We stopped for a light snack which included salad and french fries:) We ordered other fried goodies and huge glasses of iced tea. The lemonade is out of this world.
Nothing comes quickly here so be prepared. I typically don’t review a restaurant if it’s three stars or below because as my mother says «If you don’t have something nice to say…» and this place just passed the bar for me. The friendly staff and Keylime pie gifted the fourth star. Consider this bar food, which might be exactly what you’re looking for.

First impression: everyone welcomed us as we walked in. They all seemed very nice
Food: great! I got the blackened seafood trio (snapper, mahi mahi, tuna steak). I expected a small portion of each but they were very decent pieces of fish. The taste was outstanding. Really perfect. Great value overall. My wife got the crab cakes and they were probably the best crab cakes we’ve ever had.
Overall a very good dining experience and don’t let the Pizza Hut exterior fool you or dissuade you. Give it a try!

This is a really cute and casual place with great food in key largo! They have two places really close to each other so if there is a long wait time in one you can drive to the other.
Came here with family and everyone loved it. Ordered two fish dishes, fish tacos, conch chowder, and the key lime pie. I really liked the fish tacos and the conch chowder. The pie was good but nothing too special. One of the fish dish was a little dry. A cute and tasty place to visit if you are in the area!
