This is the go to place in Kerrville for Breakfast Tacos! Everything is handmade, they prepare it right in front of you. The lightest and best handmade flour tortillas! Their salsa is spicy and fresh, the green is hot but wonderful. All this wonderful food at an inexpensive price!

We came here based on the good reviews and the price. The food was great and for five tacos and two drinks at only $ 14 we were definitely happy with the price. However, if you’re from out of town and you’re coming here thinking that you can sit down, you will be surprised! This is basically a really fancy and pretty taco shack. You go and you grab your tacos and then you leave. But again the tacos and the price definitely make it worth it. We will probably be coming here again and then eating in our car in the parking lot.

The people here are extremely nice and the service is very quick. I love coming here when I need a quick breakfast. The food here is amazing and I recommend anyone who loves tacos to come here!

WOW! We weren’t disappointed. My husband got the Sean Special x2 and I got the Sean Silent. The tortillas were out of this world and the ingredients in the breakfast taco were delicious. We are visiting in our RV and we will be back. The salsa added just the additional touch to a delightful meal which we took to the city park and enjoyed.
The constant flow of costumers shows this is a local favorite.

LOVE their tacos !! My wife and I only live a few blocks away and that is probably not a good thing ! Since moving to Kerrville after last Christmas, we’ve discovered Mary’s Tacos and fell in love. My wife likes the potato & bacon but I LOVE the Poncho ! Great food, fast service (even when they look busy, you’ll be out less than 10 min.) very reasonable prices.

Not bad at all! A very well oiled machine and the tacos were good. We didn’t love the greasy bacon. The egg/​cheese/​potato were the best. I can’t comment on the chorizo. The beans lacked flavor and they do not offer chips.

Very good tacos. Had no idea what to expect with so few reviews, however, was pleasantly surprised. Fresh tortillas! I got the beef ranchero and mole chicken tacos.

We love this place for breakfast tacos. When we have out of towners we take the orders and make a run. Always fast and awesome.

Best Tacos in the hill country. if you know what you want, you can even call your order in and it’ll be ready when you get there. No waiting in line. They also have bottles soda and water available. But the tacos are something special. Plenty of meat and cheese and eggs and potatoes, whatever you get it’s not chinsey at all. My favorite is Picadillo and Cheese MMMMMMM Good!

Fantastic place to get some breakfast. Everything’s made fresh and in a reasonable time. I highly recommend the Wards Taco. Hate the name, love the taco.

If you’re after the best breakfast taco this is it!!! Best in town folks. I always get two huge Sean specials breakfast tacos for under 5 bucks (they’re huge!!), I wait no longer than 2 – 3 minutes once ordered, and I’m out the door! Never late to work in the process ever! And they’re always busy… rate higher than a 5 if I could

In my experience, not many restaurants have over 20 reviews and a five star average rating. Mary’s Tacos does, and this is well-​deserved! We read the «Silent Sean» was a great choice, and ordered six for our group. They were amazing! The tortillas are fresh, and the size of the tacos is quite generous. These are more like breakfast burritos rather than breakfast tacos. There is not any seating inside, but are several tables outside and we enjoyed eating there in the shade.
I tried «The Gill,» which has sausage, beans and potato, and it was good but I would recommend tacos with egg.
The prices are also amazing. All the tacos are either $ 2, $ 2.50, or $ 2.75 each. This is a great value for the price. If you have a chance to stop for breakfast burritos, don’t miss Mary’s Tacos!

If you are anywhere close for breakfast, do not miss this one! They have no drive thru but they sure are really fast! I ordered two burritos and walked to the chair but my order was finished before I even got to sit down! So I thought maybe it won’t be that good since they made the burritos in lightning speed and the prices were so cheap… I was dead wrong! I got the Bubba Special and it was really good! The potatoes inside were crisp and tasty and it was just a perfect blend with the Carne guisada and cheese! The tortilla was also made perfect… It was crisp and fluffly at the same time and it made a big difference in taste for the whole burrito. I will for sure stop by and visit every time I pass thru Kerrville.

I passed this place right up and had to u-​turn, but my God — the best breakfast tacos ever!
It’s the flour tortillas. They are obviously made fresh and are so soft and almost, dare I say… fluffy?
Ingredients are top-​notch as well. I devoured one barbacoa taco and one Silent Sean (eggs, bacon, potato and cheese). They are on the bigger side for a breakfasf taco, but it was so good, I couldn’t stop eating! Loved their red sauce. The barbacoa was lean, none of those fat chunks or gristle.
The place is set-​up to move a line. You walk in, order, wait, then grab your deliciousness to-​go. I saw tables set up outside.
The only thing I would have done different is ask for onion and cilantro for my barbacoa.
My mouth is literally watering just remembering these tacos!

Been coming to Kerrville for a family reunion for years, and hardly ever come to this side of town. Ventured forth based on these reviews, and may have stumbled onto the best breakfast taco I’ve ever had! Thank you Unilocal

Ok, I have to admit a secret. Ever since I moved to TX from CA, I have enjoyed TX’s BBQ and Burgers, but there is one type of food I never embraced, breakfast taco, because I still want to have something that I want to miss from CA, and also I never had a breakfast taco that wows me.
But Mary’s Taco broke my last line of defense and conquered me. When I opened up the Pork Poblano, I saw the corn and I was like oh, this suxs (I don’t like corn), then I took a bite and went WOW, OMG, this is delicious (I actually said that out loud). And that is all I can say. Chorizo Con Papas is just as good with just the right enough of spice. My only «disappointment» is the Babacoa, but that is because I think it would taste better with some rice, I know, I know, then it wouldn’t’ be called babacoa taco, it is just my personal preference.
So conclusion, I’m now craving for some good breakfast taco and will be exploring breakfast taco places in Texas through Unilocal,thanks Mary’s Taco, I’m a believer now.
