Beautiful walking trails, beautiful park. Great facilities as well. I was very pleasantly surprised by this park. Hub and I enjoyed our stroll and got to see the beautiful river and the amazing trees that grow near it. It felt very peaceful and quiet under the giant cypress.

Wonderful park! The trail is along the Guadelupe river where you can kayak, swim or fish. The trail is perfect for walking or running. I visit the park everytime I’m in Kerrville. Love it!

Having spent my teen age life in Kerrville, I am no stranger to this park. Beautifully nestled on the banks of the Guadalupe River, this park has quite a few areas to have fun. A lot of big expanses to play ball, throw a frisbee, or have a game of soccer. In addition, there are a couple of playgrounds, and a lot of river shoreline to keep kids interested. If you are feeling like getting away from the crowds, take a stroll out onto Tranquility Island(the island across the bridge). You can then walk down the length of it to be a little more secluded. If you head to the East side of the bridge going over the park, you find some good fishing along the bank before the dam. A great little park smack in the middle of Kerrville.

A nice park on the river. My wife loved the seesaws and the carousel, which we don’t see in all our local«built last year and made by Fisher Price» playgrounds.
