Your parts are a waste of taxpayers money and if you guys are forgotten about the floods that happened around here I guess you got enough money in the coffers to rebuild him I think you’re bunch of idiots

I’m torn in writing this review because on one hand the camp hosts were awesome and the park and facilities very clean. On the other hand, this place is super noisy given it’s proximity to a highway. If you can deal with the road noise during an overnight stay, it’s a nice spot, if you’re looking for silence, this is not your campground.

We had a wonderful time here. We went hiking in the morning and then we went canoeing on the Guadalupe River. It’s not crowded and there is so much to do. The staff is super friendly as well. Next time we go to Kerrville, we’ll definitely come back.

Just visited this park for a weekend and boy did we have a great camping trip. We were there for a Friday and Saturday night and camped on the hillside part of the park with a tent. Our camping area was beautiful and it had water and electricity hookups. There was a community restroom with a shower not to far away from the camping sites either. The bathroom was always stocked with TP and it was clean, plus free showers; I have been places where you have to pay. On the hillside we took a hike along a beautiful scenic trail observing the beautiful hill country. We also spent some time at the riverside where the quadalupe is. That area was great too, clean not to far of a walk from parking and easy river access. They also had kayak, Canoe, and paddle boat rentals for $ 15 an hour; I thought that was extremely reasonable. We went kayaking for the first time and had a blast. I will definitely come back here again an recommend it to others. Oh ya I enjoyed the spacious sites and privacy!!!

Worst camping ever. The people at the office are nice as can be, but are not very good at their job, whatever it is. The lady asked me what spot I’d like so I told her 12, it’s my favorite number. So… we went to park in 12 and there’s a car there already. Um– k? Then I called and she was basically like«lol sorry can you stay in a different one?» It wasn’t a hassle at all but literally it was the lady in front of me in line that was placed there. Really? Also, the campsites are seriously 20 feet away from each other. No trees in between. No privacy whatsoever. Lots of kids, which is fine but they make a lot of noise and it kind of sucks trying to get your drank on with a bunch of kiddos 20 – 30 feet away from you. Boyfriend felt guilty smoking a cigarette as a result. Dogs aren’t allowed in the water there. Even though I called ahead of time and asked about dogs, that wasn’t mentioned. I wouldn’t have paid $ 20 to stay at a shitty campsite had I known my kids weren’t allowed in the river. RIVER. Not a pool or a lake. The Guadalupe, where they’re allowed everywhere else but at that particular park. Entirely underwhelming.

We didn’t get to see all of the park, but we camped here the night after we stayed at the Kerrville Folk Festival at the nearby Quiet Valley Ranch. The price is reasonable, the shower/restroom facilities were clean and operational. The campsites where we stayed(away from the river) were pretty basic, not much shade, just some mown grass with taller grass between campsites. The neighbors were pretty loud and partied all night. But, it was a cheap place to set up camp for the night.
