Yukiko’s Floral Design Studio

Yukiko did all of the flowers for our wedding this past weekend. I was attracted to her website due to her masterful skill in ikebana, as my husband and I spend a lot of time in Japan and wanted to incorporate some special aspects of Japanese culture. She was incredibly polite and accommodating, a joy to work with and very friendly. We met with her to discuss the flowers for our wedding, and we felt like we were in excellent hands from the beginning. She kept in touch with us frequently until our wedding day, and when we picked up the flowers (I should mentioned she offered to deliver, but our circumstances allowed us just to get them), I was stunned. All of our centerpieces and bouquets were breathtaking, incredibly special and elegant. We’d asked her to use some of her own creativity and skill in the design, and I couldn’t have been happier. She even explained to us the symbolism of some of the ways she arranged the flowers, like putting three stalks of bamboo in the center to catch the prosperity. Our wedding guests were amazed by the arrangements as well, and everything was so fresh and vibrant, the biggest, brightest lilies I’d ever seen. Her prices are incredibly fair as well, especially for everything I needed for the wedding. I cannot thank Yukiko enough! We will definitely order flowers from her in the future anytime we are in need of them.

I used Yukiko based on Unilocal reviews, because I live in Seattle. My mother in law just called to say it was the most beautiful bouquet she has ever received, which is saying a lot. I will use this florist again! I think I actually spoke to the owner when I ordered, she is a very warm person, and very helpful.

Yukiko was able to create and deliver an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING arrangement of orchids despite the fact that I placed my order from ½ way around the world and at the very last minute on Xmas eve. The arrangement still looks gorgeous with multiple amazing blooms now — 6 weeks after delivery. The team at Yukiko’s was immediately responsive and truly gracious in helping me — I offer my highest recommendation for this floral designer.

I’m a little late in my review as Yukiko processed my special request earlier in the year. I’d like to reiterate the comments already expressed on Unilocal that Yukiko produces EXCEPTIONAL arrangements for any of your needs. I have seen first hand Design Studios’ magic when created amazing flower art ranging from family wedding flowers, to hospitality/​commercial use to «surprising the girlfriend» — all of which knocks their socks off.
As a guy that knows next to ZILCH about flowers, Yukiko can take your basic needs and goals and come up with something lovely that fits your budget.
