Spent over $ 5,000 in furniture here in 2012. We had issues after 2 years with our dining room table. The surface began to peel and chip. This table is rarely used and sits in our dining room. I took photos and went back to the store to ask for advice. A week later I was informed it was out of warranty and there is nothing they could do. They said it looked like heat and moisture damage, which isn’t possible since we never use it, and is only used for holidays/big dinners. Bad customer service, I would not recommend purchasing anything from these folks. They didn’t offer any alternative as to how to fix it.

I have been furniture shopping for days and coming here was by far the best experience. I discovered that they carried the line of furniture I wanted to purchase so I called in advanced and had multiple emails back and forth with(Megan) she was super helpful and they were able to give me the best price around. They are military friendly and even paid the sales tax. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. I will defiantly be back for future purchases.

I was giving this a month or so before I reviewed it but no reason to delay the accolades. First– they do have quality items. Not all of it is USA made/assembled. But quite honestly– I would still opt for solid wood from another country bought through at Don Willis than the MDF laminated crap you find at other popular warehouse furniture stores that entice you with popcorn and trains. So THAT is why we chose Don Willis. I did not want a piece of disposable furniture. That said– I think their delivery team(at least from the Kent store) were quite possibly the best I have ever dealt with in a furniture delivery situation.(I’ve dealt with a few places that have resulted in nightmares). The gentlemen carried about with the utmost of mindfulness of our property and the furniture. We’ve moved twice in the last six months and I know the difference between hired muscle and movers with actual handling finesse of larger furniture. These guys from Don Willis had the finesse. They knew the product they were delivering as well. Explained how to use the leaf(dining table extension) and were just overall pleasant. As I’m currently going through a nightmare fiasco with a furniture situation somewhere else(not something Don Willis carried) I wanted to make sure I also praised the good situations. This good service reflects back onto management and how it’s run. No nonsense. Sadly, nowadays I’m more surprised when I receive a good product AND good service. Don Willis fit the bill on that. We are currently looking to get a custom item and I look forward to the process.

Very friendly staff(that doesn’t constantly harangue you!), great high-quality furniture, and crazy comfy chairs. My wife and I just ordered a Best glide rocker and ottoman for our nursery, and we can’t wait to pick it up. Check it out!

I purchased a Adirondack chair for my husband’s birthday in Dec. I wanted it to match the one he purchased for me in August. Dawn and Chris were extremely helpful in locating the chair from their storage unit as Adirondack chairs are seasonal and not stocked in the stores during the winter. They went the extra mile in helping me surprise my husband! The chair is perfect! Thank you!

We have purchased items twice at Don Willis Furniture. Both times, my husband has wanted to go there because the items are advertised as «solid wood, not veneer» and they also have items made in America. The first item we purchased, a dresser, was indeed solid wood sides, etc, but the bottom of the drawers were a cheap particle board that was stapled in. The bottoms fell out of several drawers and had to be repaired. We went back the second time, against my better judgement, because we heard they had some better quality Made in America brands. After much upsell, we purchased two mahogany bedside tables. The sales person said they were made in Oregon, thus worth the almost double price compared to ones at a similar store. They were so expensive that we accepted a slight discount from the guy, and were told«no returns». When we went to pick them up we set them on their sides in the car, and clearly printed on the bottom were«Made in Vietnam». We were pretty upset, but they wouldn’t budge from their«no return» policy. The guy said hey, they were assembled in Oregon, so he thought he was being truthful. You decide whether to shop here. We aren’t stupid enough to get taken a third time.

We visited here to scope out a shelving unit for our entertainment system. The products here are extremely high quality. The reason we didn’t purchase from the store was that we are only living in our house for another 2 or so years. We’ll be back when we have a house we plan to be in for 10 or so years. My recommendation is to consider how long you’ll be in your place before buying such nice furniture.
