Really cute place. Service was great and informative. Food came fast. Some of the best tofu I’ve had! Not sure why the reviews are bad. This place was wonderful and I’ll definitely be back.

Had the green curry with pork, it was very good — but I shouldn’t have ordered it «hot» since this place’s hot is a little more intense than most other Thai restaurants. Next time I’ll get medium and probably enjoy it a lot more. There was good flavor behind the heat though and it came with a decent mix of meat and veggies. They have an outdoor deck which would be great to sit out in nice weather.

Fantastic food and kind service. The crazy drunk Curry is fantastic! I’ve eaten here several times, and enjoyed each dish.

So, I was craving curry and thought I’d give Kennesaw Thai a try, as I’ve never eaten from them before — and they deliver. I ordered the appetizer sampler, a serving of Tom Kha Kai soup, Massaman with Chicken, Egg Fried Rice, and Coconut Ice Cream. I was very hungry :/ Anyway, I sat back wondering how long I’d have to wait… and decided to read the reviews on the restaurant — I know, who does that AFTER placing a delivery order? Me. I did. So, imagine my horror upon reading the one– and two-star reviews! Egads! Mouth on fire?! Stale, reheated, overnight food?! Cold soup?! «Gross-tasting» meals?! What had I done?! Not to worry, I didn’t have to wait very long to do the only thing I COULD do – judge for myself(a very expensive experiment, I might add) I was pleasantly surprised when my food was delivered a mere 30 minutes after I placed the order — on a FRIDAY night… and, since I was filled with trepidation and angst after reading some of the bad reviews(and INSPITE of the great reviews) I asked the kind-faced man who made the delivery if they had recently gotten a new chef! When he said no, I told him that I only asked because of the negative reviews I just read and that I was concerned that I’d just made a terrible mistake. He assured me that I would be pleased, and even mentioned a couple of the negative reviews specifically — the«cold soup» one? He said he was there… the patrons received their soup hot, but did not touch it until a long time after(on the phone), hence it got cold… he said all they needed to do was ask for a reheat. Anyway, I unpacked my food, laid it out in short order, and dove in. I expected there’d be plenty for at least two meals, so I was a bit disappointed at the small containers of food. In any case, EVERYTHINGWASFANTASTIC! I’ve had the opportunity to eat Thai from many places and this stacked up against lots of them. My only true disappointment was with the ONEAVERAGESCOOPOFICECREAM — that cost $ 3.50!!! Are you kidding me!!! I saw where folks complained about how much they got for how much they paid, but this made it clear. And what really chapped my hide was how good the ice cream was! Would it have killed them to put two AVERAGE scoops in the little styrofoam bowl!!! C’mon! I have attached a photo, with TWO of their tiny extra-spice containers for perspective, so you can judge for yourself. In conclusion, I wasn’t so impressed with the food that I would again spend the amount of money I did for what I got.

I’ve eaten here 3 times now and the food is pretty good but not great. The seasonings are uneven and the flavor is often hit or miss. They don’t have nam pla(fish sauce with thai peppers) and I thought that was very unusual for a Thai restaurant(do they not have fish sauce, peppers, garlic and sugar?). They are convenient to my house, though.

I used to love Kennesaw Thai, but we ate there Friday night and it was a disaster. I mean, my steamed Edamame was delicious, and my husband’s Rama Kings curry was good. HOWEVER. My Tom Kha Kai hotpot was cold and never warmed up? I’m still confused as to how soup in a hotpot is cold. Dessert is where it went truly wrong. First, the nicest thing I can say about our waitress is bless her heart. KTC has(used to have) amazing ice cream. So we ordered some, and were told they didn’t have any. Finally she offered that they had fried ice cream. My husband ordered it. He tasted it. He almost gagged. I tasted it. It was GROSS. I have no idea how it went so wrong, but it was truly awful. The coating tasted like old bread and the ice cream tasted like curdled yogurt. The waitress finally came back over(we were one of two tables in the whole restaurant) and when we told her our dessert barely qualified as food she just started at us, wondered off, and then came back, tossed the check on our table. We won’t be back.

I’m giving this restaurant 5 stars bc the food was quick, hot, and delicious. Came here with my husband because it’s close to the house and we both like pad thai. We got the spring roll, chicken satay, and coconut soup to start. All good but the coconut soup was my favorite. Unique taste but definitely not for everyone though(including my hubby). I order shrimp pad Thai and my husband got the chicken pad thai. We both thought it was tasty and much better than Bangkok down the street. I prefer a little more spice and the waitress brought us 3 to try out. All were extremely hot so a little goes a long way. We took most of it home because we were stuffed but it was even tastier the second time around! Definitely recommend and the Thai beers are great as well.

Authentic, delicious, great price to portion ratio! I actually came here twice in the same day for lunch and then dinner!!! I love Thai food and this stacks up to be one of the best Thai places I’ve been. Highly recommend the curry chicken soup, pad Thai, and pad see ewe!

Don’t order from this place. The food is really not good. I don’t know how they’re still in business. I’m sorry but the food is plain gross.

Very attentive service treated me like the most important guest in the restaurant. Albeit, it was a Tuesday and I was the only one there, the waitress was very helpful. The best part of the meal was the beginning– the Tom Kha Kai soup, a spicy coconut soup with mushrooms and chicken. This was very good, one of the best in the county. Appetizer plates of chicken satay and gyoza were very good. I especially liked the crispy fried gyoza and the bitter soy dipping sauce. The chicken larb, a minced chicken dish with mint, peppers and cabbage was good and not overly spicy. I would recommend this place for the quick service and the friendly staff, and I will return myself for the soup!

When I came here to pick up a to go order the place was dead, no one in sight. My husband got the shrimp and beef Thai fried rice, with spicy paste on the side. All I can say is that the rest was thrown out after he had one bite.

First time dining here. The food taste yummy. You can’t judge a place by others opinion. I don’t cook so I rather try places on my own. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive. I like how the waitress always checked up on us. OH! It’s also pet friendly.

This place is hit or miss depending on who is cooking the meals will determine the flavor. It was a 5-star location months ago and now it is inconsistent. We were told that we just didn’t know how a dish should really taste when we said it tasted funny — one that we order as a staple at numerous Thai places across the metro area… I like the soup pot it is normally a good amount to eat.

I don’t usually write, but I really appreciated the person who took my order tried to make sure the level of spiciness was suited for my taste. So he must knows the kind of damage that can come with Thai food long after you’ve done eating them. I’m happy my dinner came as I’ve ordered it. The food here was great. The Rama King curry could’ve been a tiny bit creamier as the massaman curry as I’ve tried from other places. Other than that the server is friendly and food gets a good five stars.

IFYOUWANTTOACTUALLYTASTETHEFOODDONOTORDERANYSPICEINTHISRESTAURANT! I’ve eaten Thai food all over the country so I have experience to back me up. I placed an order for take out. Very nice person took my order. When I ordered Pad Thai Chicken he didn’t ask me how many stars so I asked him to tell me how many stars they offer. 1 to 5. Okay. how spicy is each star? This is what he said verbatim, «No spice, regular spice, thai spicy and the others are beyond thai spicy.» So I normally eat 3 or 4 stars spicy(and a thai person usually says thai spice is beyond 5 stars.) This time I ordered regular spicy and added that I don’t want the spicy to overpower the flavors of the food. I was ravenous so thought I’d take a bite(or two) before I pulled out hehe. Holy hell. I spit it back into the container. Remember, now, I have eaten Thai food all across the nation. Thank the goddess I had not one, but two, 32 ounce containers of water in the car. Gads! $ 10.00 bucks down the drain… I had thought about going back in to order Pad Thai without spice because I need it so badly right now, but didn’t. Along with the Pad Thai I ordered a couple of fresh rolls and must say that according to their fresh rolls they know what they are doing. Fresh lettuce, nice crispy carrot, cuke and perfectly cooked shrimp with the perfect amount of basil to set it off. They know how to roll their rice wrappers, too! Hooray! The peanut sauce however is not up to my standard. It was basically crunchy peanut butter with honey mixed in(I make it all the time at home for PBJs so I know.) I will go back to give them one more try but wanted to post the review so newbies to this restaurant will order no spice the first go round. Gah I can’t believe how spicy they made their food and it’s not even the hottest on their list. 2 hours later and I have blisters across my lips and my tongue is scorched!

TLDR — Today’s special = yesterday’s leftovers… I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food in my life and was looking forward to trying this place after reading the reviews. I ordered a lunch«special» from their lunch menu. No one else was in the restaurant. Not a good sign. Unfortunately, I had the same experience as Wayne Z. My noodles were dark and tough. The broccoli was soggy. I’ve eaten night Thai food to know what the problem is — it tasted just like reheated leftovers. Not sure if they froze it and reheated or what but it was not freshly made. Take a look at the noodles in the picture and see for yourself. And why oh why don’t they listen to their customers? Everyone talks about how spicy their food is. They have to add a disclaimer on their menu. People post negative reviews about it. They tell you when you place your order that they have spicy food. My medium was between hot and Thai hot. If everyone complains about how spicy the food is — listen to your customers and tone it down. In my opinion, they add a ton of spice to cover up the fact that the food is not fresh. Once was enough for me. Sorry…

We had dropped some kids off for a Friday night football game at North Cobb HS, and were looking for a decent place to have dinner. Kennesaw Thai seemed well-reviewed, so we checked it out. They occupy about half of a free-standing building, the other half being taken up by ‘The Ugly Biscuit’. There was plenty of parking available. They had a steady flow of other customers during our meal. The décor is quirky, but interesting. The lightbulbs-as-candles on the tables were neat. The menu was fairly standard for Thai places. They were light on seafood, which slightly disappointed my wife. I think she got a noodle dish instead. I had the Massaman curry which I enjoyed. We both finished our dishes, along with some spring rolls as an appetizer. All in all, this was a solid choice for Thai in this area.

My followers know that I love fine thai food. We discovered this hidden gem when we found ourselves in Kennesaw GA around dinner time on 7÷25÷15. So I thought long and hard about this eloquent review that I wanted to write but in the end its easy to summarize… This is the best thai food I’ve had the fortune to sample(easily over a 100 places around North America)! Check out the pics! A friendly owner and staff and just stunningly prepared food. We had my in laws and parents with us and they too were stunned by how lucky the people of Kennesaw, GA actually are. Wow x 10!

I was torn between three or four stars. Let me say that the food is amazing and VERY spicy. Everything we had tasted amazingly fresh. As far as flavor and portion size everything was spot on. The issues I had was with service and management. First our server seemed super nervous about something. it was pretty weird and lasted the whole meal. Then when we ordered our food he leaves, comes back and asks us if this our first time eating Thai food… because ordering it spicy means if it is too hot means they will recharge you to make it again. I found that kind of odd as well. We had a scoutmob deal so after ordering 60 dollars of food we received 10 dollars off. But the management shouts from the back if they use the deal charge 18 percent gratuity. A lot pf people were getting take out so maybe that’s the way to go with this place.
