Tried the Bella and Hawaiian pizza. Bottom of both pizza a bit raw and pizza sauce sour like it was not fresh. The garlic on the Bella wasn’t very good. Will not be coming back.

Never come down to this side of town but boy am I glad I did! Stopped in for a slice of pizza for my daughter and a sandwich for me. The kid had a slice of cheese and I got the sausage parmigiana. Pierre was awesome, warmed up the kids slice and slices it up into small bite size bits for my four y.o. She loved the pizza. My parmigiana was fantastic, big cheesy and just the right spice. My wife got the meatball parmigiana and she describes it as «hearty!» Glad I came here and now I have a reason to come to this side of town!

This place is very local to me, just down the road. Both the quality of the pizza and the small amount of money I spend to get said quality drive this rating. It’s a small little hole in the wall oldschool pizza joint, run by a Brooklyn native. He no longer delivers, but he has a good reason for not doing so any longer. See you next time Pierre!

This is the best pizza in Akron. We live in West Akron, and make the drive over to Kenmore to pick up a pie from Pierre’s. The crust is crispy and thin, the cheese and pepperoni were delicious. The pizza wasn’t greasy or overcooked. The prices are higher, but you’re paying for quality product. We’ll be back again, for sure.

Called at closing last night. I didn’t realize it was exactly 8:30. Still took my order and waited an extra 10 minutes as I strolled over from Barberton. Large regular(almost thin) crust pepp and a small with shrooms, gr pep, blk olives and something else, I forget. It’s amazing. Thanks for the late night effort. We’ll be telling everyone we can. Best pizza we’ve had in a long long time.

Best Pizza I have found so far in Akron! I was introduced to Pierre’s by a coworker of mine who said that he had heard their pizza was fantastic. It is about 15 minutes away from where I live so I had yet to try it but this evening I was driving home and realized I was going to be near this area of Akron. So I gave Pierre’s a call. The lady who answered the phone was mildly friendly. I told her that I was unfamiliar with their menu and asked for some suggestions. She recommended that I try their Bella Tia Maria Pizza. So I ordered a large one and headed on over to pick it up. It is located near the i77/i76 Kenmore Leg. When I arrived I noticed that it is located in an older area that did not seem like the nicest area of town, but did not seem unsafe either. It is a very small shop with a small waiting area and a kitchen you can see into in the back. They had various flavors of chips and drinks and side salads displayed as well as a few cheesecakes. They looked like your typical frozen cheesecake but looked pretty good so I went ahead and got a slice of Oreo cheesecake as well. The lady who I talked to on the phone was the only one working and quickly finished my pizza and rang me up. She was pretty enthusiastically sure that I would love the pizza and would definitely be back for more. And she was right. The pizza was great! It smelled great, it looked great and it tasted great! The Bella Tia Maria Pizza comes with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, sauce made with extra virgin olive oil and fresh garlic. Now when Pierre’s puts garlic as a pizza topping on their menu — believe it! There was definitely a very strong garlic flavor on this and that was wonderful! The sauce was very obviously handcrafted and all of the topping tasted fresh. The pepperoni was perfectly crispy and it was very enjoyable overall. I only have one complaint though; and it is a big one for me. It was almost enough to drop the review down to four stars. It seems that no one can get their bottom of the crust cooked right in this area. When you slightly fold in a New York style pizza, the edges should be strong enough to hold up the body of the pizza, unlike as seen in my pictures. Next time I visit I will ask for slightly crispier dough, but I am not sure they will be able to do it without overcooking the rest since the top of the pizza was absolutely perfect. Overall though I think it was the best pizza I have had in Akron. I will definitely return and look forward to trying more of their options!

Whoa I had no expectations going in, just figured it was an average neighborhood pizza joint. Totally wrong. I had the spinach and cheese calzone and it seriously was the best calzone I’ve ever eaten. The crust was crunchy on the outside and held the filling in perfectly, yet was chewy and thin. The cheese, sauce, and spinach were well balanced between salty, sweet, and lightly acidic. Just great. Worth it at $ 6

Pierre’s has incredible New York style pizza! They pride themselves on using the finest ingredients which, obviously, may cost a little more, but well worth it! His sandwiches are huge and loaded with freshly sliced ingredients!

Don’t be put off by the location, this little hole in the wall makes great pizza and it’s worth the drive 20 minute drive for me. Super friendly owner, not what I expected but it was a nice surprise :) The pizza is the best I have found in Akron, just the right amount of spice in the sauce and clearly a handcrafted pizza with quality ingredients. I usually get mine to-go, there are a few places to sit but not much to the inside décor. They do post the menu and prices online if you want to order ahead of time.

Best pizza in Akron. The Bella Tia Maria is fantastical. Garlic, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni on a thin Brooklyn crust. Nuff said. The cheese steak is awesome and the hoagies are enormous. Not like other pies in Akron. Do yourself a favor and call ahead and come get a great pizza.

It’s a very small place but the man at the counter was really nice! It has a very small, nice feel to it. Four tables total so not ideal for big parties but good to drop in if you’re hungry. I was a bit skeptical of trying the food, since the place wasn’t too flashy. I ordered the calzone and two breadsticks. The food was absolutely amazing! The calzone was perfect with the right balance of sauce and bread. The breadsticks weren’t too hard or soft, they were perfect. If you’re in Barberton, venture down to Pierre’s Pizza and Deli. It’s worth the trip!

After reading all the good reviews I had to try it. Although I wasn’t that impressed. About the only review that’s right Is the guy who said it was very salty. The cheese on the pizza was the only thing I liked.

You absolutely will not find a better deal on a sub sandwich. At $ 5&$ 6, I’m not sure he even makes a profit with all the meat he puts on it. I’ve never finished one. And since he is actually from Brooklyn, his pizzas are true Brooklyn styles. But if I’m eating alone, I get a calzone. It’s $ 5 and about the size of a paper plate(folded in half, naturally)
