Excellent, some of the best pizza and Italian food in Akron.
I would highly recommend them!

Love the stromboli and wings. Good food, good service. The salads are good too, just a little skimpy.

The White pizza is the best, my only complaint is that it is pricing itself out of the market.

Grew up on this pizza, love it to bits. Tomato and herbs are prevalent in the sauce and it’s so delicious, unless you’re one of those picky eaters that only eats unseasoned chicken and drinks ketchup for fun. Very occasionally the food can deviate from the usual good consistency, which makes us sad, but what can ya do.

Ordered white pizza and a cheese pizza… Pizza was great and so was the service… We will definitely hit this place up again!!!

An older guy took the order and seemed so sweet! Husband picked it up; ordered a Stromboli with white sauce and that was a holy experience. So great. Also ordered a pizza with pepperoni and banana peppers. That was okay, but not anything earth shattering. Both reheated well!

The best pizza I’ve ever tasted! I’m almost positive I will only order here when I think pizza. My family used to be in the pizza business so this says a lot. Try something new and make it Dechecos u won’t me disappointed.

I’m pretty sure certain members of my family could live off of Decheco’s white pizza alone for the rest of their lives and be extremely happy!
Their white pizza is as good as you’ve heard! I’ve never had any other pizza like it. My family would have it usually once a week or so; that good!
It’s a little take-​out place, so no dining in. It’s definitely worth a try if you haven’t had it before; it’s really unique! If I weren’t so far away, I’d pick some up tonight.

I just moved to Firestone Park and heard that Decheco’s had really good white pizza, that was no joke it was wonderful. I am looking forward to trying all of the other specialty pizza!

A great family run business. Absolutely great food. Jack gave me my first haircut as a child. My wife and I moved out of state last year, and every time we come back to visit relatives we make it a point to have DeCheco’s pizza. The White and BLT pizzas are our family’s favorite. Whenever anyone asks, «What pizza should we have»?, the answer is ALWAYS DeCheco’s!

We, in Firestone Park homes, take great pride in our community and it’s small business’s. We make it a point to keep our money and our shopping very local. We are blessed with salons, restaurants, mechanics, florists and almost everything else you might need without going more than a mile.

We are so lucky to have award winning Decheco’s Pizza in our neighborhood. Freshly made from scratch daily, everyone always gets their famous «White Pizza» with an order of wings and potatoes.
Jack DeCheco opened a small barber shop on Main Street in 1978 and added the pizza shop next door 15 years later. «My wife, Shirley, was a hairdresser,» he explains. «One day she fell, broke her ankle, and had to be off work for awhile. We missed her income and decided to start making our own ‘dough,’» he jokes, flashing his trademark, huge smile. Everyone in Firestone Park knows and loves Jack DeCheco for his warmth, smile and great sense of humor. Not to mention, the Pizza!
DeCheco’s Pizza is best known for good humor and the latest news from Firestone Park homes, as Jack is clued in on everything going on in the «Park» with a side of stand-​up comedy from a guy who has loved using the clippers for 40 years. Occasionally, DeCheco has to leave the chair and scissors behind and hurry next door to the pizza shop. «Someone will knock on the wall, and I’ll know they need help,» he says.
Noting that his barber shop/​pizzeria is only five houses away from his childhood home, Jack DeCheco jokes, «A dentist who didn’t believe in Novocain practiced in this location back then. At least now, there’s no more screaming.» Too much fun with your great DeCheco’s Pizza.
