Food was decent but the front last was extremely rude. She yelled at me because I took an extra fork.

Good, cheap, food with delivery. I love their hot and sour soup because it is very peppery… but probably not everyone’s favorite.

Disappointed! My partner, who is Chinese, and I went there for dinner after seeing on the menu that they offered several«vegetable» dishes. When we ordered, we asked if we could substitute the ham fried rice which comes with the combination dinners for the vegetable fried rice as we are both vegetarian. Despite the price for the two types of rice being the same, and after some back and forth between the waitress and the kitchen staff, they offered us steamed rice as an alternative. The waitress mentioned that this was the first time that a customer had ordered vegetarian. We ended up ordering the Ma Po Tofu and the Crispy Tofu dishes. After ordering, we asked once again whether both dishes were vegetarian or not and the waitress confirmed that they were. When the dishes came, we found there was a mystery meat on top of the Ma Po Tofu dish along side the steamed rice. I’m not sure how many brain cells it takes to figure out that if someone doesn’t want meat in their rice and asked for a vegetarian dish that the person probably doesn’t want meat anywhere on their dish, but apparently they couldn’t figure it out. When we pointed it out to the waitress, she went to talk with the people in back and came back to say«sorry» but that it wasn’t her fault and that the cook always puts meat in the Ma Po Tofu. Rather than boring you with further details of a disappointing experience, I’ll just end by noting that not only were the staff unprofessional and completely uninterested in preparing a dish that we could eat, but the food that we were served was pretty unappetising. It was just salty, greasy, and pretty bland, especially compared to the quite fresh and tasty food you can get from an authentic Chinese restaurant. We won’t be going there again and we wouldn’t recommend it to any one. Also note, despite what it says in the side bar, there is NO dedicated bicycle parking available.

Overall, this place is OK. Ambiance: It is in a strip mall. Décor is sparse. It feels a bit dark. The counter could be organized and straightened up. Our table had obviously been wiped down, but it felt a bit sticky. Service: We went in on a Wednesday at 6pm. We were the only ones in there. They were working on a couple of to-go orders. We picked our table. Were served quickly. Got 4 menus for 6 people, not sure why, so we just shared. Drinks came quickly. While we were there a couple of more people came in for to go and another table was seated. They all were served quickly. There was a minor problem with the credit card scanner that slightly delayed our departure, but was not a big deal. Food: Overall, I would say that it was pretty good. Of the six combination meals I only heard one minor negative comment. The fried rice was very good. The soup came out hot and tasty. the egg rolls were pretty good. The veggies were fresh, crisp and not overdone. Portions were large and we needed 4 to-go boxes. Overall I was pleased with the food. Not blown away, just satisfied. Restroom: I always check the restroom. I think the restroom says a great deal about how much the staff cares about the customer. If it is a mess, then the back rooms are probably worse. The restroom was in good repair, but it looked like it only has been superficially cleaned that day and it needed picked up and wiped down. It really needed a good deep cleaning. Check the corners.

Absolute worst! Got our order to go and when I opened the bag the food was everywhere. Missing an order of fried rice. Missing the Chinese donuts. Will never go back. And extremely overpriced for the food.

Not the best Chinese food ever. But it’s pretty good and good portions. Had the wonton soup it was plain so we added salt, pepper, and soy sauce. After that it was the best soup! Also had sweet and sour chicken which was amazing! Only the rice looked like it could only feed 1 person, sense we were sharing food with another person. Overall good service and good food. I might become a regular sense its so close to home.

It’s…okay. Just okay. The egg drop soup was not very good. The Mongolian brown sauce is VERY sweet. On the other hand, the customer service was great. Worth a try if looking for something close but we probably won’t return.

Our family really likes this little hole in the wall. It’s cheap and the owners are nice. Love the cashew chicken and the sweet and sour chicken is fantastic! We get chicken lo-mein every time we go and it’s been a home run each time! The egg rolls are great and their service is quick!

Barely edible, cheap lunch food, but Little Orient in Kaysville is better food for a similar price and a much better atmosphere.

Good place to teach your young children dining out etiquette. The food is fair and not very expensive, and you will usually have the place all to yourselves. Take out and delivery available also.

Fair food. Good for that night when you want a quick dinner with the kids. We like supporting local, non-chain restaurants whenever possible. This is a restaurant in a small bedroom community and very convenient to where we live. Much, much better than Winger’s or Pepperbelly’s which are just a couple of buildings away.

Best. Coconut. Shrimp. EVER. Nomnomnomnom. I’m actually surprised the other reviews are so bad. It’s not the best place ever but it’s not THAT bad either. Sure, the General Tsos sucks. A lot. Go to Mandarin Palace in Layton for that. But not everything sucks. Refer to my coconut shrimp love affair. I will only eat it here. Crunchy and delicious. Indescribable. Its that amazing.

Not very good at all. This is bad by all standards. You should go down to main street to a place across from the old barns bank. I don’t know the name of it but it was great. My wife brought it home and it was better than most Chinese food I’ve ever had. It was easily as good if not better than Pei Wei’s,(sp?) and a heck of a lot cheaper. The owners are super nice according to my wife. They will even make you«real» Chinese food upon request.

Great prices, and I think it’s the best Chinese in the North Davis area. Yes, Joy Luck in Bountiful is probably better, so is the Mandarin, but this is close, and Mandarin Café delivers. Even better is the $ 4-$ 5 lunches! Definitely worth trying, we like it. And they are always so nice, the service is great.

Keep driving South to Joy Luck in Bountiful. If you’re headed North, keep driving to… I dunno… China somewhere. Skip this place entirely. I made the $ 40 mistake for you. Don’t repeat the error. Minka calls me an idiot. I guess we’ll see. To date, she has done one review, and she gave five stars. She’s probably an investor. I give this place a year, tops. Anxiously awaiting other reviews of this joint from other Unilocalers. :)
