We ordered their Prosciutto and Arugula pizza and it came without prosciutto or arugula. I wish I was kidding. Instead of the«thinly sliced prosciutto» the menu promised, it had chunks that were more like hard bacon, but we ignored that and I just asked for some arugula. After insisting multiple times that the shavings of basil on the pizza was arugula and trying to charge me $ 5 to fix it, someone finally went in the back for some. She gave us a cup of kale. At the end, I went up to let them know for future reference they had their ingredients wrong, and the lady not only insisted that this is «just the way they make their pizza here,» but also was extremely rude and yelled at me. I was shocked. Definitely never going back, regret going at all. If you’re looking for pizza, go literally anywhere else.

Today by far was the worst service and pizza. Undercooked and when I present my reward points card the cashier who I seen several times again says she doesn’t have the tablet yet to record for the points. I then explained that i by now should have a few points for something she got all bothered slammed the pen down for my to sign the charge slip and said here sign this I then asked for the owner and she literally slams the door open and the owner comes out I looked past and the back in the kitchen area floor was dirty. He tried to say everything is recorded and then tells me that the last time I was there was in Nov and the. April. I explained I am there twice a month. Will be searching for a new place after tonight.

I really wanted to like this but we ordered carry out tonight and it was awful. ½ hour late, and arrived cold as in very cold. The pizza was terrible. We ate 1 piece and threw the rest out. The Caesar salad was overly salty and way too much garlic. I am sorry but we won’t be back.

The service was great but the pizzas we ordered were inedible. We were disappointed in lack of toppings, cheese and sauce on our pizzas. For the price, we thought the family would be nutritiously satisfied. Not the case. My family left hungry after $ 50.00. We will not go back.

I hate to do this but I feel like I’ve given enough chances to warrant this 2 star review. The pizza is always hit or miss with you guys and now I’m done! regularly undercooked, barely any sauce on it, cheese is rubbery. I can still see the raw dough on the crust. I’m from the east coast the crust should be crispy not floppy and white. Get it together, I’m out!

Ordered delivery twice through the Grubhub app. First order was cancelled because they did not have a delivery driver available. This was fine since i was refunded, and seemed to be a a fluke inconvenience. I decided to give Russo’s another shot the following week. Big mistake. I placed my order and shortly received a call informing me that my minestrone was not available today. Okay… so i request them to cancel my order since they didn’t have the food that was advertised and was told i would have to call Grubhub myself. This is definitely untrue since they canceled my order for me the previous week. He also noted that as a manager he was too busy too call and refund my money. The customer service is atrocious. The MANAGER i spoke with was RUDEANDIGNORANT, and both times I ordered i never received any food. Do not order from here! Especially if you use Grubhub! Would have given zero stars if possible.

Went to Russo’s with a large group of kids and adults… about 30 of us. Most everyone ate off the extra large and large pizzas but I ordered a calazone and a kids pasta for my myself and my 3 year old. My food came out and no complaints with it… I enjoyed it. My 3 year olds food didn’t arrive and I was told that they were still cooking the pasta. 30 minutes later… every one is finished eating so I go back up to the counter to inquire about his good… the guy working the counter replies«oh, I sat it down on the other end of the table a while ago. You want me to get you a fresh one?» Uh no… we are well passed eating at this point so instead he walks over to the end of our 30 person table and takes the food from in front of a lady and asks me if I want it to go. Never again. Only reason I gave more than one star is because food is actually good. But the service is a different story!

DONOTGOTOTHISRESTAURANT!!! I’ve never had to write a bad review before for ANY restaurant, but this one certainly deserves one. If I could give it no stars at all I would. My family decided to go to this restaurant for lunch and the food was decent enough, but the customer service was TERRIBLE! Honestly, this is THEWORST experience I’ve had as a customer. My grandmother just wanted to have a sip of my drink and the waitress tells us, «No sharing allowed. I’ll have to charge you double.» The lady working there was going to CHARGEUS for my grandmother taking a sip out of my drink! This is not the only time that lady has been rude to customers and many of my friends have been driven away due to her attitude toward the customers. I will not be going to this restaurant ever again, and I suggest you do the same.

If «0» stars was an option, that would be my rating. Not only was the food disgusting, but the manager/owner has ZERO customer service skills. We ordered the NY Village pizza and it was HORRIBLE! The box arrived soggy and cold. When I opened it, the pizza was under cooked and stuck to the bottom of the cardboard box. I called the store and the manager was out(he had made the delivery). When he returned, he called and only had excuses: «the veggies make the pizza soggy… do you want to try a meat only pizza»…um, Papa Johns & Dominos can make a pizza with veggies! I asked for a refund, as he didn’t seem too sure that they could make the pizza any differently then had it been delivered in the first place.(If you can’t make a dish — don’t have it on the menu!). But, here’s the best part — he wouldn’t refund me over the phone, stating it was the company policy. I had to bring the pizza back. Seriously? They didn’t have any problems charging me without the card in hand. So, I packed up the soggy, nasty pizza and headed to the store. I met with the rude manager, and asked if he was the owner — he said no. After venting and getting the receipt for the credit, I asked for the owner’s contact info. That’s when the«manager» tells me is actually is the owner. WHAT? Who lies about that? I just had to laugh, and with that I left.

Normally I love Russo’s, but this location is horrendous. We checked the hours prior to arrival. Arrived at 8:30, their hours said they were open until 9:30, we were told by the cashier that they close at 9:00 as we were ordering our food. I asked her if we should get it to go or leave. In addition, they kept turning the volume of their tv off as if that was a subtle indication that we should leave since we were still eating at 9:10.

i have eaten at other locations before and had a pleasant experience. here, i decided to order to-go despite the bad reviews and it was a mistake. disappointing pizza. went in the trash. i don’t recall ever doing that before. i don’t know about the service obviously plus there were no customers in the establishment when i picked up.

I hate being negative — however, I think it’s a disservice to the restaurant for them not to know these things. I order from NY Pizzeria probably on average 3 – 4 times per month-so that makes me a valuable customer in my opinion The past 3 trips I have had major issues with the service. Last night, I called at 5:30 to order a pizza for my wife and I. I was put on hold for approximately 3 minutes. I guess I am impatient, but seemed like forever. So, I hung up and tried again. I was immediately slammed on hold again-and the girl was fairly rude about it. When she came back on, she was rushing me through my order and being a little rude again. Sorry-I’m a big boy and can take it, but sorry that you’re busy, that should be a good thing, right? Anyway-she proceeded to tell me my delivery would take 1 ½ to 1 hour 45 minutes. For a small Margerita pizza. Geez. I said no thanks and called Pepperoni’s, which btw had my order to my door in less than 30 minutes. I’m not going back to Russo’a anymore. Too many bad experiences. Went there with my family; I was excited to try«New York Style» since I’m from New York and it’s hard to find that type of pizza. The pizza was good, but it is not New York style. The crust is wrong, the sauce is ok, cheese and toppings ok, pizza size itself is off. This is not the big fold-in-your-hand type of sliced pizza pie. Pricey for what you get. Our server couldn’t get our drink order straight, and there were only about 3 other tables of customers. My husband had to ask him three times for an iced tea… he got an orange soda, a fruit punch and finally a tea, but it was raspberry flavored, not unsweetened which is what he wanted. He ended up ordering a coke. The whole drink order fiasco was so bad it was almost comical. We won’t be returning; really not worth the price in our opinion. The place should not advertise themselves as a New York pizzeria… it’s deceptive.

We always get delivery when we order from here. The food is good, just a little pricey. Definitely better quality than typical pizza delivery, but you pay for it. The Delivery guy always seems nice and the order gets here fast. I like this place when my husband wants pizza and I want a decent salad or pasta or appetizer. Actually the salads are pretty good! We moved from a city that has delivery for most restaurants so when one has it here in Katy, it goes a long way in my book. I give it 3 stars because of price.

There must have been an ownership change, or else the worst run of bad luck ever. But, I have been here three or four times and it has never disappointed. Being from the East Coast, I don’t eat pizza a lot in Texas, but this is as good delivery as you’ll find in NY or Philly. And the service is great, which you won’t find in NYC. Is’s quick and fresh. Hmmm… ordered this for the fam last nite. Lg Hawaiian Med pepperoni/garlic sauce/mush greek salad 2 deserts was like over FIFTY bucks! It was way overpriced… not completely hot upon arrival and a little flabby. I MAY give it one more shot… but I really don’t know… you see the problem is, out here we have limited choices in delivery… you have… chinese and pizza… pizza and chinese… did I say chinese and pizza? Yup…but the online ordering setup was pretty efficient though. Meh.

Waited over 40 minutes for two slices of pizza and one calzone. There was nobody in the restaurant and the two people who came in after me were done eating before my food came. The owner, when he showed up, parked in the handicap parking spot with no tags or signs. Yes, he walked just fine. Overpriced and of poor quality. However, what makes this a single star for me is ordering a slice that comes in a box that is seven inches wide and finding a slice that is less that three inches wide. Last order from these folks.
