What a pleasant surprise in Katy! My wife and I just had dinner at Mama Mia’s pizzeria and what a great pizza, it reminded us of the pizzas we had in Rome. And what an incredible wine list! For a small restaurant, they have some quality wines at reasonable prices. Excellent service, great quality food and a good wine list.

I can’t possibly believe the reviews are real. I grabbed the pizza box and thought it was empty. The lasagna was extremely salty and not good. Expensive for what you get. Felt robbed.

No bang for the buck! Ordered soup, broth based tomato for $ 4.99 that was served in a teacup, probably six ounces. Simply cooked tomatoes with herbs. They forgot the garlic bread that was supposed to come with it, but when they brought it I took one bite only-​grocery store type bun, no rustic French or Italian bread that would have made it great. I also ordered a Caesar salad-​another mistake. Small bowl of lettuce and tomato (?), had to ask for more dressing. No fresh grated cheese. Tiny salad cost $ 5.99. I did hear they have decent pizza but I am not curious enough to discover if that is true. For the Katy area, I’ll stick to Pizza Bella. With tax and tip this was an expensive light lunch, very unsatisfying.

Wow!!! Amazing! Great food great atmosphere! If you go you have to try the supreme pizza! The dough reminded me of the exact same one I had in France! In addition to the pizza the lasagna is unreal! It’s not the typical lasagna you’re thinking of, it comes in this dish and is entirely contained! Just brilliant! To top everything off the crème brûlée was decadent! The perfect blend of sweet to creamy!

Food is great … service is awful. I understand this is a relatively new restaurant, but there seems to be little or no servers in the restaurant. It takes forever to get your food. And since you are never really clear who your waiter/​waitress is (there aren’t any) getting follow up service is absolutely out of the question. This was our second, and last, time at this restaurant until they add more staff.

My husband gave the chef his supreme compliment — his Chipotle Chicken Penne Pasta «was spiced perfectly». And the hubby ate half of my Cranberry Almond Salad too! At least he kept his mitts off my pizza! I love the thin, yet chewy & crispy crust. Quaint, cozy, atmosphere. I’ve used this Chef for catering some business luncheons. I’m so glad he opened a store front.

The place was nice. The pizza was cold not fresh from the oven. We ordered Margarita Pizza … They put some doe in the micro — threw old cherry tomatoes on a cold Pizza.
The salad was not bad… the service sucks.
Should take the name Pizzeria out.

Just moved to bella terra and found this jewel while in cinco ranch! My hubbie and i decided to pop in for a slice and ended up getting a small today. It was excellent. Were usually center court pizza folks but weve found this spot now. This is more gourmet dinner n wine type pizza. Really fresh n very italian. Hubbie said owner was über nice. Well b back!!!

We had pizza and lasagna, both were amazing! Someone else had the spaghetti and it looked really good. I couldn’t get over how reasonable the prices were for the quality of food and service. The plates and glassware are very nice. It’s the same as the ones in the pictures. Even the silverware was nice, not the typical thin stamped out ones you typically get at restaurants. I’ve never tasted pizza crust like this one. It wasn’t chewy and dry, but tender and buttery while still being thin. The lasagna was the best I ever had, and my 1 yr old loved it too. EVERYTHING is made from scratch. Nothing from a can and you can tell when you taste it. This place it top notch. 1 large 2 topping pizza, a lasagna entrée, and 2 Mexican cokes $ 27. This is our new go-​to for pizza and Italian. There were also a lot of people coming in for pick up orders.

Right when you walk in the atmosphere is very inviting and you can tell the owner has a passion for this. The wait time isn’t long at all either. I have been here twice the past week!

I had the Grilled Chicken Marsala! Great dish with asparagus and mashed potatoes! Very well presented. Also had the caprese salad. I don’t think I ever tasted a salad that great. My little girl had the cheese pizza. Good pizza. Not bad at all. Two teas, salad, pizza, chicken marsala…$ 32. I bit much. But it was great food. And the service was great.

My wife and I are pizza snobs. We like classic Italian pizza. We hate greasy pizza. This place rocks. Great pizza. Great service. Yes, it’s a smaller place, but that’s what makes it special. I have not tried their pasta yet, but have heard it’s fantastic as well… because every time I go, I’ve always wanted their pizza. Oh, and they have bottled coke products which are a major bonus!!!

Family of 13 went on a Saturday night. Called ahead for reservations and were informed they do not take reservations but when stating we had 13 in our party they held us a table. Ordered several pizzas and pepperoni rolls. Rolls were small only good for two as an appetizer but good. Pizzas were fresh and good. Place is very small. Our son has been there several times and says the pasta is very good too.
