I usually don’t write reviews no matter how bad the food is, but this time is an exception. My fiancé and I walked in the restaurant without ANY greeting, very typical at Vietnamese restaurants so we decided to just find our own table. We are both Vietnamese and spoke to our waitress in both languages. However, the lady with long hair come out with a menu, puts it on the table without saying a single word and walked away. She didn’t even have the courtesy to smile. A couple of minutes later she came back to take order, but again she just STOOD THERE WITHOUT ASKING what we wanted to eat. We went ahead and ordered anyway, and she wrote it down and again walked away without saying anything looking super annoyed ! She gave us our food in the same manner, and again did not reply not smiled when we said thank you. They just left us there eating until we were ready to leave. When we got up to pay she continued to give us the same attitude, not even a «thank you» or «goodbye» when we paid and tipped (I do this regardless of how bad service was).
I notice that she, however, was nice to Americans. She talked to them, asked them what they wanted to eat, thanked them, etc. I don’t know what the deal is with her or whether she had bad experience with Asian customers, but I do get the vibe that she is treating us poorly because of our ethnicity. There’s no need to treat us like that and made us feel awfully not welcomed. I hope that there will be improvement in the way they treat customers regardless of skin color here, especially the lady with long hair.

Enjoyed a full meal with the family. Wife and I shared noodles and a meal and absolutely loved it. The staff are so kind and it is a hole in the wall but the inside looks so nice. Coming back here for sure

Stopped here for lunch and had the phở with shrimp. The phở was good, with very fresh bean sprouts. My only complaint was there was no vegetable phở, or phở Chay. How hard is it to make a phở with no meat? Flavor was good.

Nice place and very clean.
I ordered spicy beef soup as my dinner. I thought they put too much ajinomoto into the soup. Because I drunk much water after the meal. Probably will not return.

Ordered the phở Tom and phở tai to go from here. Both were delicious!!! Best phở Tom I’ve ever had in Katy! Definitely returning soon :)

The place is new so its very clean.
Egg rolls tastes too much like msg!
Phở has that funky anise taste, too authentic for me.
My kids didn’t eat it, and hated it.
I ordered spicy beef soup. Went home woke up n my hands r swollen. Too much msg. And i really don’t like that fishy taste. Ew
So we probably will not return.
I wished restaurants would leave out msg. It tastes gross and leaves people feeling like crap.

Small place but the food is pretty good. The sandwiches are delicious and super reasonably priced. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a quick bite that isn’t drive thru.

My brother brought home a couple of Vietnamese sandwiches and I must say these are the best ones I’ve had. Just wish they were open on Sundays. Definitely planning to make this place a regular spot.

Inexpensive and tasty. The spring rolls were very good, and the Phở was good as well (I had the Phở Ga). The place is small but nice. A little hard to spot.

Please come to this restaurant! They are new and have the challenge of a kind of sleepy location. But I want to make sure they make it for the selfish reason of having such a delicious, affordable Vietnamese restaurant so close to home! Great food. My family sampled the café sua da, spring rolls, phở, vermicelli bowls, and beef stew. The meat was so tender and everything was flavorful and fresh. The restaurant has a simple but nice ambience. It is very new and clean, and the service was perfect. What a great addition to this area!

Just had lunch here. The service was great. The atmosphere was quint. The food was speedy and taste really good. The price was amazing too. Glad to have a good neighborhood place like this.

I’m Vietnamese American and have lived in Katy for the past 7 years. Previous years I felt like the only decent place in Katy to get the most authentic Vietnamese phở was Phở Saigon on Mason. Since then several Vietnamese restaurants have opened up but none had great variety that is all good such as phở, banh mi (sandwiches) and rice plates. I’ve been to Chopstix a few times now and I have to say. All of their dishes they offer is delicious! Their banh mi is soft but perfectly toasted around the edges, their phở broth hits the spot and their meats is marinated perfectly. Bo luc lac (shaking beef) is a hard dish to perfect but one of my faves here. Not to mention the clean, nice and relaxing ambiance here. I will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends and neighbors!

Only have ever gotten the tofu banh mi with fried egg – it’s one of the most affordable meals in the area at $ 4.60. All of the filling is well-​proportioned (includes cilantro, carrots, and daikon, with just the right amount of sauce) and the tofu is cooked well – not too tough on the outside or chewy.

Small restaurant but not too busy since it’s new. The interior is really nice inside and the restaurant is clean, even the restrooms! I went here for lunch and the large Phở Dac Biet really hit the spot especially since I was sick at the time I ate here. Good noodles to meat ratio in the soup and the broth tasted as I expect it to be for phở.

My husband and I come in almost every week and love it here!!! So clean and the Phở is wonderful. So glad they came to Mason!!!

This place was great!
We went last night (Dec 23) because I didn’t want to cook and I had just cleaned the kitchen.
The server came to our table a couple of times to ensure we were ready to order and didn’t make us feel rushed, she was very sweet and double checked the order and everything!
I ordered a Vermicelli bowl (it’s my standard order) with no cucumbers & no peanuts, and extra fish sauce.
husband got a mango smoothie with tapioca and the shaking beef, it was probably some of the best beef i’ve had in a while ! the entire meal was SUPER yummy!
we’re pretty well versed in ordering & eating Vietnamese food but she brought us forks anyway
The pork in my bowl was a little larger bites than i prefer but that’s because I have a small mouth and take small bites, otherwise this was the absolute perfect weeknight meal!

The restaurant space itself is small but the decoration is simple and nice.
We ordered the phở and bo luc lac, both were good and very fairly priced.
The service was great too, our waitress was very friendly.
We’d definitely come back and try their other offerings.

The food is good the place is new and clean. There are now two phở places on north mason and I would choose this location due to the spring rolls. I like the this wrap around the roll instead of a thick struck you sheet. The rice is ok and the dumpling soup has that Vietnamese kick to it and I love the vegetarian sandwich with an egg. I work walking distance so I will be there often and hope they stick around!

Deelicious! My go to phở shop and the only phở shop in Katy area that my Vietnamese girl friend approves of so far. I usually order Phở Special. Try the «mighty» spring rolls !!! It is the bomb dot com!!!

They’re still too new to be able to tell how good the food will be just yet, only open 5 days ago. Good Phở and egg rolls. Small place, maybe 12 tables but they have a sanwhich shop in there too.
