Hands down the very worst Subway I have ever been to in my life(and I eat Subway often). It smells like mothballs and pee, the staff is absolutely incompetent and hardly ever speaking in English. I asked for a footlong to be cut in thirds and the girl helping me started badmouthing me in Spanish to her coworker — she was completely horrified when the gringa(me) replied back to her in Spanish. I have stopped here 4 or 5 times because it’s the closest to my house and had issues almost every time(compared to maybe once per 100 visits at Subways elsewhere i’ve been) and every time the manager has been completely incompetent — even when I was charged for 2 six inch sandwiches rather than the footlong I asked for(I asked if they could wrap the footlong separately and really didn’t expect to pay $ 3 extra for the second wrapper). The manager on duty insisted on charging me for 2 six inches, even though they were the SAME thing AND i ordered as a footlong. I ended up walking out. I hope this management gets ousted and a competent manager and staff are hired. I boycott this location(sadly, since it’s closest) and have eaten much less Subway that I used to in the year i’ve lived here because they suck so badly! Try the sandwich shop at mason and I-10 instead!

This location is across the street from my office. It is fine for a quick lunch. The restaurant is clean and the line moves pretty quickly, but nothing special. Subway has simplified their menu and cut out some of the good options, like jalapeño cheese bread. No big problems, but doesn’t feel like a win when you eat here. Proximity is really the only reason I come in.

You know when you go to a chain, the whole point is the food is consistent. I like the taste /nutritional value of Subway, so if a Subway is consistent, they pass that bar. The folks here are friendly. I know Subway corporate makes everyone say«Welcome to Subway» — but the folks here seem to take pride in their jobs and are working to make sure the customer is satisfied. I can’t ask for more than that at a chain. I normally get the Oven Roasted Chicken Breast 6″ on Italian. All the veggies. I skip the cheese and just get yellow mustard. That lets you get great flavor, a lot of food — a good portion of your veggies in with one shot. I get the apple slices and either tea or a diet coke. That lets you have a very nutritious, filling and most importantly — tasty meal for right at 350 calories. That is hard to beat if you are trying to watch what you eat.

This particular location has plenty of parking and is your normal chain restaurant. They have one employee in particular that seems to not have a firm grasp on tact and customer service, but besides that, is an well ran place overall.

I showed up and waited ten minutes(during a busy lunch hour) while one employee slowly sprinkled cheese on several loafs of bread. I didn’t mind waiting, however when one employee came out of the restroom 8 minutes later and only toweled his hands off before touching everything behind the counter I knew it was time to leave… I like subway, but won’t be back to this location.
