Jack In the Box

Ok so last night before going to Whataburger (our favorite burger place)
I first decided to stop by this Jack in the box restaurant and pick up some dinner. The drive thru was hella long so I decided to go inside. Now I’d never been inside a Jack in the box I/​we always go through the drive thru. Well this day like I said I went inside. It was TRASHED. They had been extremely busy it seemed. The cashier was a young kid who seemed very displeased with his manager he was complaining about her attitude. I sort of chuckled and preceded to place my order. I also order a couple of tacos for myself. The manager was heavily made over with to much makeup caked on. She walked over to him and snatched the order receipt out the printer. I was like o… Kay… The manager was running the drive thru as well as cooking food. It was very busy and there were only 3 employees there. I asked the cashier if they were hiring I told him my son was looking for a job. He replied «Not here. Everybody quits here the manager is rude and she always has an attitude.»
At that time I watched the manager Fuss at an older woman making a burger complaining saying she needed to get the molasses out her ass. While grabbing the mop bucket and cleaning something up. I also watched her pull her hair out of a pony tail and fling her hair down shaking it out and putting back up into a higher pony tail. I was like For real though. She then asked what my order was as I was beginning to tell her she cut me off and told the cashier to reprint the order receipt. At that moment I noticed how dirty her fingernails were. She walked over grabbed a taco shell with her dirty filthy hands grab lettuce, cheese etc out the containers with her hands and stuff it into the shells. I said «Excuse me ma’am I’ve been waiting for a little over 10 min For my food I can wait longer so you can wash your hands and/​or put on gloves.» She said and I quote. «We are NOT required to wear gloves (with an attitude) and that’s from the health department.» I said «excuse me first if all your attitude and sarcastic tone is not needed!!!» «Further more, I just watched you handle money in and out the drive thru window, up here at the cash register, I observed you grabbing the mob squeezing out the filthy water and cleaning up a spill behind the counter, putting your hair up into another ponytail, and you mean to tell me that the health dept says it’s ok to be filthy, disgusting and possibly get someone sick improperly handling food and not washing your filthy hands .!» Her response «Yes.» and then walked away. An older lady came in after me and heard the conversation she said «I know the owner of this restaurant and I don’t think he’ll like how your running this place.» The young cashier said «She don’t care told ya she’s rude as hell. I can do her job better than she can. I’m tired of being disrespected and talked down to. I have a life I’m young in school and this is just part time for me. It’s a shame someone with no hope and missed there calling in life is taking her horrible life choices out on me and people like me. I have a future, goals, and dreams to look too. It’s a shame this is the best she’ll ever have!» At that moment while I was calling their corporate office to complain. He quit and walked out. I will not be going to a Jack in the box ever again unless this proceeder changes and they have a change in management. If you go here make sure you go inside. There is so much wrong with this Jack in the Box. It is near my home and just for convenience sake do I go there. 3 out of 5 times my order is wrong. It’s often that the folks who manage the orders can’t understand what you are saying and vice versa. I’ve gotten home and found they gave me the wrong thing and tried to call back and no one answers the phone. Yesterday I actually got someone and she could hardly speak or understand English. She gave me the phone number of the manager to call but it was some Spanish line. This one sucks the big one!

Ehhh– used drive-​thru around 9:45 pm. Staff was BLASTING Mexican music so loud I swear I was at a taco shop!!! Cheers to the guy that made my Oreo Shake!

Food and service is same as any other Jack in the Box. Came here late one night for Jack’s Munchie Box cause my drunk friend Chen goes on about it. Well he doesn’t know anything cause they suck.
Their curly fries are the best. The only reason people come to JITB is for the curlies

We like to stop by this JITB every once in awhile for their great shakes. Fast service, clean eating area. JITB generally has good menu variety including some healthy options. Many types of burgers, but burgers are not of Whataburger quality. The mini churros are tasty. Several breakfast options… the blueberry muffin oatmeal is excellent and low calorie at that.

Drive through open 24 hours for your late night cravings.
They never put cheese on the regular tacos like they are supposed to and they don’t make a very good sourdough jack.
Never anything bad, but never that good. It’s all about convenience.
