Sun Fresh Markets

Lets start with what this grocery store is doing right for me. First, they are super close to my house. Second, the staff are always really friendly. Thats it, I can not think of anything else I like about this Sun Fresh. When you walk in the door it smells like a bad asian market. So bad, that during my shopping trip the smell never actually went away. The produce section is laughable, I bought a can of beans that were expired (pretty sure canned food lasts years before it expires), and they don’t even carry Simply juices. (deal breaker) I may go back here in a pinch if I need one item, but I’m not sure. I’d be concerned about how «fresh» the item would be.
Save your time and go to the Hyvee on State Line.

This store is a hit and miss… if you get certain brands and items, you can save a lot of money. But some items are very over priced. Personally I wait until what I want is on sale when I shop here.

Local grocery store. Double coupons. Fresh Meat Department is great. Small salad bar for quick bit. And good wine and beer selection. Place needs a little up dating, but overall convenient location at Red Bridge Shopping center.
