I’m upping it to 3 bc well bacon and eggs. 4.31 gets you 2 eggs 3 slices of bacon and 2 slices of toast oh and coffee. The b/g left a bad taste in my mouth so I can’t go much higher.

One thing you will not hear at the Price Chopper on 103rd «Give Gayle at the customer service counter a raise!» Nope, Not, No way! She has to be on my top ten list, for the rudest customer service employees, ever! I went to the customer service desk for something pretty simple, 4 powerball and 4 mega millions tickets… Gayle put them on two tickets and I said I’m sorry but I need them seperate. She said It’s too late, I can’t do them seprately, you have to buty them like this. I said but you should’ve asked if they were individual, it’s not my fault that you rang them up like that. She said it can’t be voided and actually it is your fault. Astonished, I looked at my roommate and she said, let’s go. Now maybe she’ll find out how to void them. We go to Price Chopper on 103rd every Saturday or Sunday and we spend 130 — 150 dollars every week. If we don’t go there we are at the Hy Vee in Prairie Village. Usually because they have better sales that week. I don’t know, but for some reason Gayle thought it was okay to be rude to me. From what I got from her TUDE was, she’s rude a lot and so what if I am! Nice to know who’s in charge. We go to that Price Chopper because people have always been nice and friendly, it’s clean and they have a great selection. We could easily go to our Price Chopper in Brookside, that’s only 5 minutes away from home, but no we choose to drive 15 minutes away… to be treated rudely. Now that’s loyalty! Gayle, who are you loyal to?

When this Price Chopper got a remodel a couple years ago, almost everything changed… for the better. Clean, neat, better produce, etc. It’s a pleasure coming here. I have also looked forward to the baggers who unfortunately have turned over because I no longer see my favorites there,(Andrea and Clarence). They ALWAYS made my day if I were lucky enough to get in their check out line. The P.C. card gives me a discount on my gas, I can get quarters for the laundry machines here, as well as a lottery ticket. The specials are really good when you pay attention, too.

Wow! Who knew there could be such a difference in Price Choppers? The Choppers near our house are pretty sucky, but this one knocks it out of the park. Maybe it’s because this one is a Cosentino’s Price Chopper? This Price Chopper has at least 50% more square footage than the ones I shop at regularly. Produce looks fresh, the store is clean and well-organized, the shelves are well-stocked and employees are friendly. I wish this were the Price Chopper in our neighborhood!

This Price Chopper makes mine look like a dump! Actually mine is a dump, but still this one is pretty amazing. I just needed a card to send out(those reading this and seeing that I actually send cards, don’t hold your breath that it will become habit), but after walking in decided to wonder around a bit. The store is very clean. The produce depart is huge and inviting. I think you find just about anything you need here, even organic items. The deli was also impressive compared to my experience with Price Choppers. With this being on the Missouri side, there was a huge alcohol section. I know this can be nice as a one stop shop for everyone, but I like our individual liquor stores on the Kansas side. There were tons of smiles and everyone working that I encountered was friendly. Can I trade this Price Chopper for the one near me?

I needed 36 cupcakes decorated for a wedding shower turned around in a day and was directed to Kay in the bakery. Not only did she greet me with a can-do smile and take the time to understand the designs and look I was wanting, she decorated them even BETTER than the photos I had showed her. At least 5 people at the shower wanted to know who did the delicious and adorable cupcakes. They were amazed that they didn’t come from an expensive cupcake boutique, but from Price Chopper! Thank you Kay. You’ll have my bakery orders from now on.

I’ve been here a few times in the morning to pick up juice to go with my biscuits and gravy from Jerry’s [across the street]. I’ve always had a decent to good experience here. Clean. Good selection. Always stocked and orderly.

I’m a Kansas girl, so when I walked into this Price Chopper, I was pleasantly surprised. Wine samples, food samples all in one place! The Price Chopper near me is small but this one… this one makes me consider driving 20 minutes out of my way to shop here. Wonderful!

I’ve been shopping here for like 10 years or something… it’s on my way home and they are open 24 hrs… great because I work a late shift. I shop after work because there are like 4 or 5 other people in the store — shopping that is, there are a bunch of dudes stocking and they don’t care that you are trying to get to the milk — you are in their way, so move. Point is, I like not having to hassle with other people at the grocery store. You get 5cents back per reusable bag(make sure you remind them) and during the day time rush you can’t wait to get out of there so you go through the awful self check out(item not recognized) and wait for someone to help with your blinking light and you can’t even get a bag credit. F that noise. Too many people and too much pressure. Pat works there at night and I like her. I prefer going to her but sometimes I have been forced to go to Mary’s line. She is a young girl that keeps her«closed» sign up and there have been occasions that Pat’s line was totally backed up and Mary wouldn’t wave anyone to her line… like the time the elderly lady argued about her check not being accepted or the lady that had her card declined and said it was because she didn’t know her pin and just randomly entered numbers while she called people asking them for it… No, Mary wouldn’t help. I was in Mary’s line one night and she was all kinds of upset over the corn I was buying and there were voids and redos and whatnot and she started telling anyone that would listen«I’m supposed to be off the clock right now!» That made me feel pretty great. So, night shopping at this Price Chopper works out well for me. They gave me a free T-shirt once for their anniversary and I still wear it(that was actually during the day). Stick with Pat’s line though. PS They will take the promo signs down before midnight and that can get sorta crazy when you are there for a sale. They usually end and start new promos on Wednesday night FYI.

You know what I want when I shop for groceries? Over priced food, bad produce, and the ability to check myself out and over pay for customer service as well, if you too are looking for the same experience, shop at the Price Chopper located at 103rd and Stateline, it is awesome ! I’m being factious. This grocery store is awful. I attempted to purchase produce here, and while going through all the onions I could only find one that was half usable, the potatoes that I purchased had an old taste to them, and I used them within 24 hours of purchase. I was also irked at the over priced selection of can goods. I was in need of a can of chickpeas, which were located in several different places in the store, by the time I found a can, with all sorts of extra preservatives, I was surprised to see that I could have bought chickpeas for a lot less at a natural foods store. When I finally made it to the check out, after wasting about 10 minutes looking for pita bread, I noticed only two check out lines were open and had lines of five or more people, thus forcing me to use the self check out. While using the self check out I saw at least 3 employees just standing around and talking, while I checked my own groceries. I witnessed one of those employees, during another trip, putting frozen food back after a being put in a cart. This is a health violation; grocery stores are not allowed to resell any items meant to be cold because they can’t guarantee the temperature that it was kept at while not being located in the correct section. On another trip I went with my partner so that he could buy beer. I found it odd that they didn’t check his I.D. and when we looked at the receipt it said that he was born in 1910, ummm yeah pretty sure he’s not 100. This is a … grocery store… maybe…
