I know it is early in the am, but the ladies at this Starbucks put quite the damper on my friends WEDDING day. One of the bridesmaids politely asked Jessica to write«bride» on the brides cup, and she acknowledged it rudely but still didn’t write it. Fellow bridesmaid asked for a marker to write bride on her cup, and the employee asked her co worked in a «I’m so annoyed» way and didn’t give us one. The service was slow and the employees were rude. Other friends that live around there have stopped going because of how slow and unfriendly they are. So if you are in a rush, just skip this place.

This store is a class act, every time they made me wait a long time for my beverage, they’ve comped my drink the ladies are so kind so nice they really up their gameand set the bar high for other Starbucks to follow. I drive out of my way to support the store. Will always come here

Wow, what unfriendly baristas. As a loyal customer and gold card member. I was shocked at how I badly I was treated through my WHOLE experience. I once worked for Starbucks for 4yrs barista/shift manager. I know this is not how I would treat those coming in paying, or wanting to be treated. I think things they could work on is 1. Intro– As if you cared that I came in and wanted to help me.(Suggesting instead of a harsh(Well tell me what kind of tea). 2. When asking for a modification,(which was simple) adding more syrup to such a bitter and strong black tea. And not making a defense but, just gladly help me. 3. The exit– instead of complaining to another co-worked in-ears from myself. Thank be for coming in and welcome me back. I know y’all are better this!

I’m a coffee shop guy but I differ from most and that is because my base for judging a shop is firstly the vibe of the place. This place actually is probably the best around if u wanna just hang out! Now the down fall of this place is its extremely slow, almost dial up internet speed! My 90 year old grandma has faster internet! If they fixed the WiFi up then this place would be an easy 4.5 star.

Compared to the rest of Starbucks in Kansas City this is a solid four out of five location! Sometimes it’s busy sometimes it’s not. Usually the food and coffee are good rarely they are not. I have been a faithful Starbucks customer for a while and have probably visited at least 50 location, with that said this is the absolutely the worst one I have been to. I went there about a year ago and received a cup of coffee that was the consistency of swill. It was super thick and I didn’t sleep the whole night! I didn’t return to this location for about a year and when I did I ordered my favorite Misto. My drink tasted fine, it was served hot and the lady at the drive through seemed nice enough, but 15 min. after drinking it I got very ill. I got a stomach pain that I had never experienced in my entire life and remained sick for a solid 36 hours and felt weak still after that. BEWAREOFTHISLOCATION.

A group of us went to Starbucks in Kansas City. Pro: We enjoyed sitting on the nice patio. It is set apart like a peninsula with tables and chairs. There’s a little fence around it so it is contained nicely. It was a nice place to sit and chat. Once ordered drinks came out quickly. Con: People behind the counter were all business and not remotely friendly. Not even a smile. Just very fast moving and irritated appearing if the customers don’t get every word of their order out in a New York minute.

the drive thru baristas are AWESOME. they ones at the counter inside. not so much. This is my go to Starbucks since its close to home. but I’ve learned. these are not the most friendly baristas. Please don’t ask for anything outside the standard menu items. if you decide to leave the safety of your car. you can feel the hate from across the counter.

I consider myself somewhat of a coffee snob, but have a confession: sometimes the convenience of this Starbucks location far outweighs my coffee snobbery. Here’s a bonus confession for you, just for fun: sometimes I drink iced coffee from McDonalds — yikes! Now that I got that out of my system, lets move on to the rest of the review. There are certain times when I want to read a book or do some work and this Starbucks is the first place the pops into my head. Cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff make this my go to coffee shop when I don’t feel like driving to the Brookside Roasterie. I don’t think I’m ever fully satisfied with the way that my drink is made(anyone else disappointed that Starbucks baristas just push a button on a machine now, instead of learning how to pull shots?) but will suffer through that in order to enjoy a good book in a good atmosphere. Indoor seating at this location is pretty limited, so you may find yourself without somewhere to go if you come during a busy time.

This is by far my favorite Starbucks. The baristas are nice and good at their job, AND unlike some other Sbux locations, if you ask them for something special, they just do it instead of getting a bitchy attitude! Coffee is always spot on and the lines move very quickly both inside and drive thru.

This is the first Starbucks that I’ve been into that hasn’t had the overwhelming smell of burnt coffee lurking in every corner. This Starbucks smelled like flowers. Flowers? Yes. There’s a large, wooden table, a couch, and other various tables to gravitate towards for some studying or socializing. The baristas were VERY proficient and professional in what they said to the customers. They reminded me of robots. But hey, robots get the job done… Just don’t expect laughing or small talk. They are clean, comfortable, and speedy. This warrants 5 stars from me.
