Last season was the inaugural one at Livestrong Sporting Park. I sat in the East Stand. My seats were decent, though when the sun set, it was right in our faces. Sporting finished with an amazing run at MLS Cup, just short of the finals. I knew we would come back and take it all the way this year, and I doubled down by doubling my seat cost and moving to Shield Club. Shield Club is absolutely amazing. You get the best parking possible, in the D Lot, which is literally across the street from the stadium. This allows for easy-in, easy-out access. You have your own entrance, which gets you in to a special seating and food area serving some of the best food available(obviously, apart from the skyboxes, etc.) — they have burgers from Blanc, pizza from Waldo Pizza, and sushi from Nara. Yeah, seriously. There are cocktails available(not available out in the stadium), and a huge screen for you to watch in case, for whatever reason, you don’t want to be outside. Shield Club only comes with getting a particular set of seats… but those seats are awesome too. We are 15 rows up from our own bench, so we can see players warm up, wave to us, and come out of the locker room. What I’m saying is, it’s worth the price. Check it out.
