Applebee’s

I wish I read other reviews before I ate here. I’m praying I don’t get food poisoning. Service was lacking and food was mediocre. After reading all the reviews about how dirty this place is in worried that the kitchen is dirty too. I like Applebee’s but wouldn’t ever go back to this one. I assume that if your a local you already know this but we are just getting here. I should of known by how empty it was.

Wow! NEVER AGAIN! Absolutely the worst service, EVER!!! I’m amazed with myself for not losing it, these «servers» everyone one of them do NOT want to be there. Clearly, they hate being there, and it certainly shows! TERRIBLE… the only reason there is a star is because it would not let me post without a star rating and there was no option for NONE!

This is by far the nastiest, dirtiest Applebee’s I’ve EVER been to! I asked for a booster seat for my 15 month old granddaughter and I had to wipe it down with baby wipes because it was just that gross. The bathrooms were beyond hideous. Someone in the district office needs to seriously take a look at this store!!!

Poor waiter service. But the food was good and fresh, the drinks were really weak.
It was super gross seeing and smelling the carpet in the place. If we go back, we’ll sit on the bar side

By far one of the worst Applebee’s I have ever been to. Yes I go here because it is close to our house but I would much prefer the one on Shawnee Mission Parkway. After multiple times of being here I have had results from staff flirting with my husband (offering to buy him drinks in front of me), under cooked meat (not by preference), food wrong on my order, a child’s plate forgot about and continued to serve everyone else, the server take the order then not come back til the bill is due. When someone asks me which restaurants they shouldn’t go to this is the first one I say.

The service here is slow. Waited 15 minutes before seeing our waiter. Then 45 minutes to get our food. Very disappointed.

Worst Applebee’s ever, seriously. Don’t even waste your time here. Been here 20 minutes and finally just got our order finalized. Unacceptable. There are too many restaurants in this area to be treated like this place will treat you.

Bad bad bad. Ordered wings a steak and a chicken caesar salad. 32 min later the wings showed up. They were steaming ant tasted awesome. We just had to remind the waitress that we needed plates and silverware. Another 15 min goes by the steak shows up. No salad. another 10 mins still no salad or waitress to ask where the salad. Asked for the manager. He stated he would take it off the bill because I didn’t revive. Gee thanks I replied. The only thing that happened fast was bringing me the bill. Haven’t been here in a while. Hope to not come back. Thanks for nothing Applebee’s.

I’ve been here 4 times the service is lacking although the computer on the table gets thing done. But all in all you need a person to talk to.

Legends location was super busy but only had to wait 5 – 10, had a drink… or 2… great waiter, kept the drinks coming and the refillable fries!

Don’t expect your waitress to stop at the table after she takes your order. Our waitress took our order and we never saw her again until she dropped of the check.

Bat tender was easy on the eyes which made the long wait in a lightly populated restaurant bearable. Food was expected for a term dollar meal

Went there with family. One of the worse places I’ve been. Place was dirty, especially the restroom. Staff was not very friendly and the food was not good at all. I ordered steak (medium) with a backed potato and mixed veggies. I got steak (well done) with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Second try I got the right sides but my steak was still well done. Others in our party of 12 had also problems with their orders. I will not be going back to that place.

Didn’t have a great experience when I came to this location. Came here for a birthday with the family. Waitress was disinterested and a bit sassy if you ask me. Got snippy with my grandfather who is hard of hearing, when he didnt hear her name. Then spent the next hour flirting with my Aunts boyfriend, right in front of my Aunt. Due to the non-​stop flirting, she failed to refill drinks multiple times. One of the steaks ordered wasn’t cooked right, the manager brought over a new one. Still wasn’t completely correct, but close enough. Just a very uncomfortable dining experience. On the bright side, when I wrote the restaurant to tell them, the manager was quick to call me and let me know they were going to handle the situation. Just a shame it happened on a family outing for a birthday.

Went in on a Friday night with my daughters. Wasn’t even that crowded. Ordered a salad and two burgers. 40 minutes later, nothing. Server came by and told me a story that I feel comfortable was a lie. Something about our orders weren’t «fully cooked» and were being sent back into the kitchen.
More waiting. Was about to just flat out leave when finally (about 50 minutes total) plates arrived. No real apology, but server indicated that the Manager was aware of a kitchen problem and that she’d come by and talk to me.
After dinner was over, we didn’t have a check, and no sign of manager. Finally she came by and inquired why I was concerned. I hadn’t asked for a visit from the manager in the first place. I explained what had occurred and she shrugged and said «this is the first I’ve heard of it». Offered 20% off our bill. Then it took another 10 minutes and a reminder to our server to even get our check.
The whole experience was a mess. Won’t be back. Way too many choices in this area.

It was OK, I haven’t ate at an Applebee’s in a while. Its your typcal chain style eating establishment. While waiting for our food a did see a big table top get up and leave because they waited over an hour and they still did not have their food yet.

Our server was far better than the food. She was clearly frustrated with the kitchen staff as orders had to be sent back for correction. Overall ok, not great.

I had to go here with my mom. At the time, this was the only restaurant opened at The Legends.
