I purchased the salmon and it along w/the asparagus were cooked perfectly. The SoCo Hurricane I ‘d was delicious and I highly recommend it. The chocolate cake… wow! I really like chocolate… and this was not as wealthy as you’d believe. The icing was smooth and not overwhelming. Only the piece was overwhelming. It is enormous! On the other hand, the waiter did take quite a while getting back to our table to refill our waters, or request us if we wanted dessert. I believe he believed he was really going to interrupt the«clucking» of 3 girls catching up.

Food was good I ate at the bar. Heather was my bartender who was very prompt and courteous. The bar was very clean. The food was great except… they no longer served the chop salad. I would’ve given five stars but no chop salad. The beer is OK but not a destination craft beer

Its all about the brew! The food was excellent as well. My main reason was the best meal I had outside of Great Wolf Lodge with the fam. We usually goto the GWL in Grapevine, TX, but this time came north(Live in OK), and was pleasantly surprised with this dinner and craft beer selection. Got the sampler which paired well while waiting for my meal, eating my meal and some dessert dark craft beer to finish it off. YUM!(to the beers)

First time trying the new menu… Prices higher, portions smaller, and most disappointing– food isn’t the same quality… Salmon was fatty and no evidence of seasoning(asked for blackened salmon) cheddar ale soup tastes bland and much thicker consistency and has small chunks of bread on top instead of croutons. Caesar salad had no croutons, had a huge bland cracker thing. —- food just«ok»… Quality is certainly not worth the hike in price… very disappointed! … We’ll have to find a new favorite restaurant. Good luck GC…

Meatloaf was ok. Onions strings on top were old. With the Idaho fries the fries were undercooked. Mash potatoes seemed old. Ranch was great. Server was good. Freezing inside. It’s November, why is the AC on?

I returned back to this place after having a less than wonderful experience before, and I must say I was a little hesitant. but our waitress named Jessica was so sweet and cordial. I tried the Idaho nachos for starters… hoo doggie it was so good!!. and then my mother ordered the prime rib sandwich and I had the chicken finnel with asparagus and linguini. OMG it was so flavorful, the flavors were just dancing all over my palate. also the portions of our meal were wonderful because alot of resturants skimp on the size of the food… not this place. we had a wonderful time. Most of all our waitress treated us so nice and was very fast with the food and drinks. we didn’t have to wait long to be helped when we needed it. I do want to thank the manager who did respond to my earlier review and promised that things would improve… and boy did they! with hospitality like that and awesome food… U got me as a regular!!!

Second time here, first time was a couple months ago. The food is good and the beer is good. The first time everything was great. Just a bit disappointed tonight. First I ordered their way up yet kilt beer(whiskey oak-ages Scottish ale), well my server brought out a pale ale. It was good and best of all it was free. Then he tried again and brought me out their up yer kilt(Scottish ale) it was good but still not what I ordered. So I just gave up on getting what beer I wanted. But had two decent beers for the price of one. I got their chopped salad with chicken, it was good but the avocados were skimpy in the salad but hey at least I got the right salad.

Food an beer good but the service and lighting were terrible. Way too bright and it seemed like servers were getting lost. Worst thing was I had to watch people clean tables, sweep floors and do closing procedures the whole time I was still eating.

Had visitors in town from out of state and wanted a nice Sunday brunch. We got we wanted at Granite City! Luckily we made reservations for our large party of 14. The wait would have been over 30 minutes but we walked right in. The food choices were awesome: eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, salads, cinnamon rolls, scones. But the best was the Eggs Benedict station(6 or 7 different varieties)! I also loved the French toast with strawberry topping and prime rib! The only reason I didn’t give a fifth star is our waitress seemed a little stressed by our party size and disappeared when I wanted a refill on my coffee.

My husband and I ate there on a Wednesday evening. Service was quick and informative. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, my husband ordered the Betta Chedda Bacon Burger. The Pot Pie was delicious! It had pearl onions in it with a flakey crust. The burger was big, cooked well done, came with hot fries.(Hot fries are very important lol) For dessert we had the Apple Tart, it came cold with ice cream. It wasnt really good. I would have gave our experience 5 stars, but that tart was just flakey bread, barely any apples, and cold… other than that, food was great!

Never have been disappointed at Granite City. Good more upscale bar and grill food. Huge variety of beers that they brew along with a good cocktail list. The beer cheese soup is a must and its so good that you can also order a side of it to dip your fries in! The Bedda Chedda Burger is really good and so is the Bacon Blue Cheese burger. Also love their Ruben which is huge! They offer a mean brunch buffet on Sundays. Pretty well stocked with a variety of breaksfast items and some lunch options. But the one thing that was frustrating was they always seemed out of something and the lines were long. Great outdoor seating to relax at but this location you will want to skip if there is a Sporting soccer match or NASCAR race… busy busy.

This place has knock-your-socks-off awesome service. Tonight was the 2nd time we’ve ever been to Granite City. Both times we were dumb to try and find a restaurant in the Legends before a Sporting KC game. We checked in, they had a 55 minute wait. Instead of battling parking, which was awful, we decided to stick it out 35 minutes later we were seated. The food here is GOOD. Not necessarily something you’d want to write home to your mother about. But it’s basic comfort food with a slight upscale presentation. My fiancé is a huge fan of their«nachos» which are really just a TON of loaded waffle fries. I like the Adult Bock Mac and Cheese… but back to my original point. The service is awesome. Tonight our server was Delilah. She was nice, she was efficient, and she knew what she was talking about. On a night when they were obviously SLAMMED Delilah paid attention. She offered suggestions. She was attentive without being overbearing. We never felt like we had to wait for anything. Our food was brought out fast, refills were plentiful(she even brought us to-go cups at the end of the meal without us having to ask) and we she got us in and out with a smile on our faces. Service like we got tonight is what will keep us coming back whenever we’re on that side of the state line.

This was our first time trying this restaurant since we were visiting the area. The food was absolutely fabulous! I had the grilled garlic butter sirloin and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. We have a restaurant locally that charges $ 50 for just a steak and Granite City’s steak was better. It’s been weeks since our visit and I’m STILL talking about that steak.

First time trying it as we were visiting the area and were thoroughly impressed. The server said all the food was made in house and I believe it. We get a spinach and artichoke dip appetizer and chips and salsa. The dip for artichoke was not worth the $ 6 it was minuscule, but it tasted good. The chips were made there and delicious. For entrée got a chicken tender Caesar and was delicious. Burger was told very good, Steak was amazing, French onion soup and chicken quesadilla top notch. Did not get beer but nice variety of options. Great touch was manager thanked us for first visit and gave us each cookie and for table a coupon to come back and join them again. I will go again and highly recommend if in area. Last time went to yard house and this was much better.

I used to love this place… there was the 5 cheese rav that I got every single time. Now, most of the pasta dishes are gone.(There’s still a couple left). The good thing was our waitress was really nice. The food was okay. I got the adult mac and cheese. The strawberry martini used to have much more purée, which needed a strainer… now it’s almost non-existent. What happened? There’s a phrase, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it… so disappointing. However, if you’ve never been before, it won’t be bad… just not someplace I’d try to make a point to come back to.

I could not believe the Sunday Brunch Buffet!!! It’s about 15 $ and well worth it. Highest quality food– there was prime rib! And of course all the breakfast foods! They usually have a couple Pasta dishes. Also a custom eggs Benedict bar where a chef will make it any way you want. Great attentive service! Will be back!
