I have been very disappointed with this location. On numerous occasions they have ran out of bagels at 7:30 a.m. The long wait doesn’t make it convenient to stop at this location. I wouldn’t suggest stopping at this panera; head to the next location or somewhere local!

I hate to give Panera not 5 stars– normally it is really great! However this location is super small location. The staff taking our order was very nice, however the food we recieved was not up to the Panera standards. I did not say anything as we were in a hurry– not the best day for Panera!

Great location in Brookside! Always quick, clean and personable staff. Parking can be tricky sometimes but other than that, a good location. A great spot to take a study break for area high schoolers too!

I gotta say, this Panera is pretty convenient when you’re in need of a quick lunch. The quality is great, the price isn’t bad and by the time I do the pre-order and arrive, my food is ready to roll. My weakness is their broccoli cheddar soup on a cold day, along with their Cobb salad. Parking is usually pretty good in the Brookside location, although you may have to make the jaunt across 63rd. It surprises me how unlikely the cars are to slow down for pedestrians in the crosswalk here since it’s such a walkable neighborhood.

We are never disappointed with the quality of food, the price, and the background music at Panera! Knowing the calorie count for every food item and having heart-healthy choices is a big help for my family. It is the only«fast-food» style restaurant where we eat.

Has anyone seen this commercial where Panera claims to give all their leftover food to charity? While waiting forever in line on Sunday, I watched a gal working there pull all sorts of food the display and toss it in the garbage. I went ahead and ordered ‘fresh’ food there. I tried to pay using Apple Pay… because their registers and signs say they take it… but was told half the registers there do not accept Apple Pay… even though they had signs up on them saying they did. I get frustrated at this location. Too bad its the one close to my house.

If you need to get any work done, don’t come here. Loud environment. The Internet is also painfully slow and it takes forever to accomplish anything. The cashier didn’t even ask me what I wanted, just stared at me. Never said thank you, never even smiled at me. And I’m honestly probably one of the more forgiving people in the world, as I’ve worked in customer service for many years prior to my job now. I have her name in case the manager has any interest in improving how things are run. The people who made my food were very nice and warm when I went to retrieve it. Normally I love Panera but this is a terribly run location!

I tried to call in order in before work but it took them forever before they answered the phone so by the time they answered I was already pulling up. The lady who answered the phone was very rude as well. As for the food, it’s good. The customer service just needs to be better.

The food is like the other locations but I do not like the staff… they’re unfriendly and inattentive.

You will now, I repeat, WILL not get your order correct here. That’s a shame. This is the place I go when I’m desperate and nothing else is open. The people behind the counter are super friendly but they need to be trained taking orders better. Nothing like biting into a sandwich with mustard when you order it every.single.time without. Super frustrating.

My wife and I stopped by this Panera location this past Sunday, March 22, around noon. If any Panera management is reading this, IMMEDIATELY give the women working the counter that day a raise! They were great! The food was the usual good, the food arrived in a reasonable time(it was slightly slow, but it was a Sunday at noon, so they were rather busy, so it was understandable), and we got it to go so I can’t say how the dining area was, but overall it was a good visit. Seriously, they deserve a raise. Stop reading this and start writing the checks, damnit.

I stop into this Panera about 3 – 4 mornings a week to get coffee on my way to work. The employees there are super friendly and attentive. They go out of their way to make sure we get our coffee quickly. ;) The hazelnut coffee is so delicious… it’s hard for me to ever drive by without stopping. I have eaten breakfast and lunch at this location numerous times and have nothing but a great experience. The food is tasty(standard Panera quality) and the facility is nice.

This place has free wi-fi, a standard café menu selection and a clean, corporate chain atmosphere. Its probably just like every other Panera in America. Everyone was friendly, and the mac n cheese was actually quite good, it has a tangy cheese sauce and the pasta wasn’t overcooked as you might expect.

Panera Bread is THE place to come for a good bowl of broccoli cheddar soup! Service is alway quick and the food is delicious. Love there’s a Panera Bread in the Brookside area… just a hop and skip from the house! Free Wi-Fi too!

Panera Bread is a new restaurant to the Brookside neighborhood, taking over the space formerly occupied by Beauty Warehouse. It features a bakery and dining area that serves breakfast and a selection of sandwiches, salads and pasta for lunch and dinner. Food may be ordered from the counter and taken to go or eaten in the dining area, which has ample tables and booths and a good quantity of high chairs for families with small children. No tables are large enough to accommodate excessively large groups, but the space is certainly adequate. I enjoy Panera for breakfast. Although the coffee is not as good as at the Roasterie Café nearby, one can enjoy many refills. And the steel cut oatmeal with strawberries and pecans is a delicious start to the day. The cinnamon rolls and various baked goods are also good for breakfast. I remain unimpressed by the lunch/dinner options. Although I like the idea of clam chowder in a bread-bowl, the reality is a soggy disappointment. This is not a reflection on Panera; it is simply my personal preference. The salads were uninteresting, mostly iceberg lettuce and overpriced. The pasta was terrible! And as for sandwiches, every sandwich that I have ordered has left me wishing desperately that I had gone across the street to Mr. Goodcents, where I could have gotten a better sandwich. I will definitely return to Panera, but only for breakfast, never lunch or supper. The restaurant is clean and efficient and nothing is so terrible as to warrant a ban; however, with a better sandwich shop across the street, I am unlikely to ever choose Panera when it comes to a choice between the two.

I have never been a fan of Panera and refuse to eat there. But I was in desperate need of a snack before a big event and convinced myself that stopping into Panera wouldn’t kill me. I stood there awkwardly at the registers for a very long time while the employees on the food line just stared at me. Did they mention to a cashier that a customer was waiting? Oh no. They just looked and looked at me. I ordered a bagel and a green tea and it costed me almost $ 6 which is stupidly ridiculously. Before putting my bagel into the slicer, the cashier sniffed it. I’m not sure what to think about that. Desperate rumbling tummy times call for desperate measures and in this case it was eating at Panera Bread.

I know it’s a chain, but somehow the Brookside Panera acts more like a local shop. They are always busy, so obviously Brookside can and will support a chain restaurant that delivers quality food. I actually love their coffee, always a freshly brewed option on tap! This is a great go-to for a quick, consistent bite — great sandwiches, salads, soups and most importantly baked goods! If you want a more local flavor, there are plenty of great stops in Brookside to take in, but don’t snub Panera just because they are a chain.

I like Panera. When I need a decent lunch or a bail-out dinner I can get it here. I already see people whining about it being in Brookside. That is hogwash. Price Chopper is a franchise. CVS is a franchise. Baskin Robbins is a franchise. It will work here or it won’t… the consumers ultimately decide. I usually get the morning quiche, as I did on this visit. I love the bacon spinach and four cheese. I also enjoy the tomato soup and a few sandwiches. The shortbread cookies and chocolate duet cookies rock. And the blueberry scones I took home on this visit are a standing favorite. So, I can recommend Panera for soup, sandwiches and pastries. Coffee, too. If you want an Italian sandwich, go to Bella Napoli. If you want something else, they probably can fill your wishes here.

My wife loves Panera. She would know doubt offer a higher rating. Maybe it’s me, but I can’t feel like no matter what I order, I’m going to get a dessert. The look, the smell, the atmosphere– everything seems to come off as sweet, which bugs me a bit. In spite of this, I can usually count on broccoli and cheese soup to deliver some flavor.
