Northland Passage

This is a horrible place to live. They will take an animal over a paying customer any day. I lived here for 2 years and had to deal with a loud dog above me with no help from the management staff. When I discuss this with them they would do nothing about it and many times when I called nothing would get done. Also they did not explain how utilities wirkef for my apartment. Even though I was a single person and tried to conserve water the whole building had to split the water bill so it didn’t matter if 10 people were living in the apartment or one you had to pay the same price.

We’ve lived here for a few months now and for the most part it’s great. The apartment was clean when we moved in and the office staff is great. However, don’t rely on the 24 hour maintenance service. Our hot water tank sprung a leak at night and the maintenance man refused to come until morning. Other than that I’ve been pleased with everything else. A nice affordable apartment.

We have mold in our apartment. This is an issue that has and continues to cause health problems and instead of actually dealing with it, the burden of proof is on us. We may be reimbursed if the mold report states it is «deadly» mold. We reported the problem and waited for management to do something. When the maintenance people came to the apartment I was told it was «dried dust». I came home to a filthy apartment with the «dried dust» all over my couch, floor, book shelves; muddy footprints on my white bath mats; dirt tracked into the apartment and dirty fingerprints on the doors and walls.
Had issues with neighbors who yelled at all hours of the day, were violent to each other, disrespectful to other residents and always were slamming doors/​things in their apartment. They had an attempted break in then proceeded to kick in their own glass sliding door.
Parking is atrocious. Each apartment is allowed to have two cars which means there is not enough parking by some of the buildings.
The dishwasher racks (yes, multiple) left rust stains on my dishes despite replacements and repainting of the racks… buy new ones!
It is ridiculous that cable is listed as optional in the lease when it isn’t optional at all.
What a «luxury» place to live! Word to the wise: don’t rent here.
