Needham Floral

I’m so excited to finally have a florist in Kansas City I can trust!!! Ordering flowers from another state via a shop I have never used is not something I enjoy. Not only did the bouquet match the picture EXACTLY, but the people there were so easy to work with and made sure the delivery happened on time. Lee was so great and very sweet about making my bouquet just perfect. I highly recommend this place!

I accompanied a friend into Needham today, because she’d had really favorable experience here a number of years ago. This visit, my friend had results which she thought disappointing and which I thought were sadly precictable: A tired, droopy little arrangement. Like something off a how-​to-​arrange-​flowers website. On the upside, the owner wasn’t particularly rude or moody on this visit to eaither of us. Fairly pleasant in a nondescript way.

Working with Dan & Needham Floral for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. Professional, pleasant, accommodating, and thorough describe working with Dan. After researching floral companies within the Brookside & greater Kansas City area, I settled on Needham Floral.
His laid back nature, and outstanding results made my wedding a great day. He was even very flexible on the day of my wedding when I mistakenly arranged floral delivery for a time that came AFTER my assigned bridal party photo time. He shuffled his schedule, arrived early, and even picked wildflowers to use for the flower girls when we realized the silk flowers I had previously purchased wouldn’t work for the wedding venue.
I would recommend him to anyone looking for AFFORDABLE floral arrangements with someone who doesn’t have the air of inflexibility and stiffness as with many of the floral companies in the surrounding area.

Really unfortunate. I likeD this place. All (but one) of the people were professional and accommodating and had great products on every occasion. I planned on making them my go-​to florist 3 – 5 times per year for as long as I lived in the neighborhood.
So I special ordered 6 white call lillies for my wife for Mother’s Day earlier in the week. Then, I called in a few hours before pick up today and Dan answered (Dan was the same guy I ordered them from earlier in the week). This time, I simply asked him, «Dan, if those flowers are a regular stock item, and you’re able to use them on somebody else today I’d like to cancel and go with something more affordable. But if not, I’ll absolutely stick with them.»
Fair enough right? Not for Dan. His response was basically, «oh, so now you’re screwing me?» Followed by him hanging up the phone.
Although, he didn’t deserve the courtesy follow up call, I called him back immediately and said «Dan, on second thought, go ahead and cancel my order. You shouldn’t disrespect your customers especially when they’re being reasonable. I’m sad to say it but I won’t be bringing my business to you anymore because of how you just treated me.» And he said «good, don’t come back.»
Dan, I’ll still give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you have a good heart in there somewhere. But If you don’t have a service personality, just go do something else for a living. Perhaps something where you don’t have to interact with other people as much. Peace.

Dan is the best! The flowers are always beautiful. I would never think of going any place else. Dan and his staff take extra time to make sure every arrangement is perfect. Needham did my wedding flowers and they were beautiful. Absolutely georgous.

This review is actually for Bella Designs, the event florist within Needham Floral. I had a fantastic experience when Michelle agreed to take me on with relatively little notice. In fact, it was two months before my wedding, and after my other florist fell through, they recommended Michelle based on my style profile.
I sat down with Michelle early on a Saturday morning searching through her books for some ideas. She didn’t necessarily have a standout event I wanted, but we compiled a few of her great ideas to make them unique to my wedding.
She followed up with me appropriately, and when I arrived at the venue on my wedding day, everything was amazing! The flowers were beautiful, and everything was labeled clearly, which was great for a disorganized bride like me. Everything was better than I could have imagined.
Oh, and it helped she knew the layout of Club 1000 and knew what to add. It also helps that our tastes aligned well. Great job! Highly recommend her. She has fantastic taste.

Needham Floral is awesome. I use them for all occasions, business and personal. It seems like every time I send flowers to a client or have an arrangement delivered to a funeral service from Needham, I hear that it’s the most beautiful bouquet they’ve ever gotten. Dan is the owner, and he’s almost always there at the shop when I call to place an order. He’s always helpful and friendly (I like to look at arrangements on their website then call Dan and place my order.) My husband often goes in and just buys a single rose (or two) to bring home to me; it’s always wrapped beautifully with just the right accent flowers. I even used them for my own grandfather’s funeral service and everything was gorgeous.
The flowers are always fresh, only the most perfect roses, and the arrangements last a long time, especially when cared for properly. Like any florist worth using, they can be expensive. But you really can order at any price point and get the quality you expect. A single rose gets just as much love as a dozen. Plus, I love to support my local businesses!
