5 Stars– Kitchen accessories 5 Stars– Bedding and Bath supplies 5 Stars– Name brand clothes This is my go to place for kitchen accessories, name brand clothes, and Bedding and Bath supplies. I want style, function, value, and beauty at a pauper’s price. Cuz I may not have a million bucks, I’m worth it!

4 stars for bargains, 2 stars for crapola checkout time and line. You’d think it is Christmas! There are treasures awaiting unsuspecting people in Marshalls. Like a fuel belt for running at half off… that is a $ 15 savings. You NEVER see these discounted. So that is a true find. There are other items like that for you depending on what you are looking for.

Although I pledge to shop locally for the holidays, sometimes there are the times when you just need to get stuff for the home, as well as bath and body products and you don’t have the budget to spend 30 dollars on a candle or 20 dollars for shampoo(because you’re budgeting to shop locally for the holidays, of course :) Enter Marshall’s, which offers all the above, plus clothing for women, men and kids, workout gear accessories and god knows what else. I don’t buy clothing here. I tend to just stick to the candles, kitchen gadgets and bath products(because I cannot resist getting salon brands for over 50% off). My last review for a Marshall’s was less than favorable due to the horrible manner in which everything was thrown around as though worthless. I’m happy to say this one is a huge improvement on the last Marshall’s I went to(on Long Island). The home area is much neater and you don’t feel like you’re buying junk, or food items that have been opened and sampled(I mean, seriously, what are people thinking when they do this?!) There’s always a fair amount of holiday stuff(try and hit them early in the season to get the best of the lot), and decent high-end bath/body products that have not yet been opened. Clothes are also hung/folded neatly and in proper sections. You’d think this would all be standard, but not in many discount department stores. Every Marshall’s needs to follow this model. I understand this store is only open about a year, but they are doing it right.
