Best Chicken Gizzards in the Northland?
No, they were way over cooked with no flavor.
Their French fries were double fried and grease soaked.
Their Patty Melt, they use frozen cheap pre made hamburgers.
Overall, not really worth going too.

Thank-you Dirks for being our go to place for the WORLD SERIES and our World Series winning ROYALS! The waitress’s were fantastic. Especially Erica!!! She took EXCELLENT care of all of us every time we were there. Wonderful service. Great food and great prices. Thanks again and see you soon!

Ok time for an update! We’ve been repeat visitors for a while. We are happy to say we are still lovin it. It’s our new hangout place and it feels good to be a regular here. ;) The bartenders are lovely, we are especially fond of Jess and Jamie. We’ve tried the nachos and always clean the plate. The wings are pretty good too. Updates to come as we explore the tasty bar treats further.

I have a tendency to only review really bad or really good places and this is one of the good ones! Just appetizers and drinks, which were very good, but as always service is the difference and Jaime is awesome!

I was a long time customer of the former Dirks. I went in for lunch. I had the fingers with fries. Whereas the fingers were tasty I did not care for the style of fries they served.

Under new ownership… stopped by based on Unilocal and was not disappointed. Had Tuesday tacos which were very tasty. Staff was courteous and efficient. If you want a casual bar this should be on your list.

Its a «dive bar», though with the new ownership, and some major sprucing up to the inside and outside of the place, it definitely is getting out of that realm. The service has always been good, and the food has surprisingly always been pretty great, for being bar food. Their fried mushrooms. yup, I have dreams of those on occasion. Beer is ice cold, and the new flat screens are great.

Dirks recently reopened under new ownership… they cleaned the place up, it seems a lot brighter, they added a ton of flat panel TV’s, improved the bar area, have a solid bar menu, but most of all, they provided some solid bar entertainment with a cackling, drunk old lady… coupled with an energetic Royals game, and Dirks gets a double thumbs up…
Only reason they got 4 stars, they got rid of the real, ring onion rings, which were awesome, and opted for the greasier onion straws… just ok…
