Enjoyed dinner … Started with shrimp dip .rich but delicious. For dinner we had the fish and chips and the grilled shrimp with Au gratin potatoes. Very good service… Very nice wait staff.

My husband and I ate here upon the recommendation of a friend, and we were not disappointed. The salmon here is amazing! I had a goat cheese salmon salad and my husband had a salmon sandwich! Haha. The service was great, it was super busy but even still. Very impressed overall and the prices aren’t bad.

Had the lemon chicken it was ok but nothing special to much cheese and it was a chewy blob. Service was great. Will go back and try something else.

Ambiance needs work. Food is good. I noticed the owner working, which is always a good thing. Cheesecake is very good. Wish they would work on décor.

Will definitely be back. Went for lunch. We had the portobello burger(chopped on a beef patty) and a grilled chicken salad. Both were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Nice atmosphere, very relaxed feel, and friendly service.

This place is AMAZING! Seriously, you could order almost ANYTHING from here and LOVE it. The only thing I’ve found that I didn’t love was a side dish, and I’ve been here like 10 times. Go for the Cajun tortellini, or the salmon sandwich, or the BC burger, or the Sunday BUFFET! Kids under 5 are free. Nice atmosphere, even though you wouldn’t expect it from the outside. Go in!

The two stars are for the cheesecake, which is the only highlight of BC Bistro’s brunch. Sadly the brunch has not improved since the last time we visited, it actually has gotten worse. Everything on the brunch line was either over cooked or cold. The scrambled eggs were so over cooked I almost couldn’t identify what it was and once I did I skipped it like everyone else. The pancakes were cold, hash browns burnt, and pastas so over cooked that they fell apart just trying to scoop them on my plate. The gravy for the cold and dry biscuits looked terribly inedible, a few chunks of meat in a sea of over thickened white sauce. On the dessert table, the tiramisu cheesecake was delicious. Brunch is not worth your time.

Great gem! Fantastic food for sure. The pork nachos were amazing and the chips didn’t get soggy at all as most places do. We did the burger and warm goat cheese salmon salad — both highly recommended. There was quite a bit of food — portion sizes are definitely generous. I can’t wait to make this one of my routine stops in the northland. Highly recommended!

Excellent restaurant. I have no idea why travelers staying at nearby airport hotels eat at surrounding chain restaurants. This place is so much better and offers much more. I had the house salad(unique, delicious), hot wings(best blue cheese dressing I’ve ever had), and the KC strip. All were excellent, as was the service. Very friendly wait staff. Great value prices for the quality of the food.

If a restaurant exceeds my expectations 3 times in a row within a few weeks, then I feel compelled to write a review. We had dinner last night at BC Bistro. The Cajun rissotto with shrimp and peppers was exceptional. Service had been good every time. Prices are very reasonable. The décor /ambience is Spartan. I have eaten average fare in stunning ambience for high prices. I prefer tasty foods with good service at reasonable prices. I am willing to overlook the décor.

Sometimes location and timing are everything for a restaurant, but that’s really not fair… everyone should get out of their comfort zone/routine and try a new place that you’ve driven by a millions times…9 times out of 10, you’ll be glad you did… we did that the other night and found BC Bistro to be wonderful… A nice, small bar area and dining area, greet you upon entering, separated by a chin high wall. Several dining tables generously spaced, allow for a relaxed dining experience. The bar and dining area have several TV’s spotting the walls, creating enough visual movement to entertain if required. But why try a new restaurant? But to see what new flavors a chef can create… BC Bistro executes meals with a flair… as usual, a burger was ordered, add an egg, and my son was in burger heaven. They served it with house made chips that were very thin and seasoned perfectly. My other son did the meaty ziti, a carnivores dream with pasta, and a tasty red sauce… portion was large enough he rolled two meals from it. We ordered salmon three ways, on a salad, grilled with veggies, and with pasta. Each portion was generous, and seasoned and grilled to perfection. The only knock on any of the meals was, the grilled veggies on one order were a touch oily and slightly overcooked… but I will say, my spinach and garlic side was the perfect second side for my grilled salmon/asparagus meal… delicious… BC Bistro deserves to be that next stop, they are doing good food… great…

So I went to this Bistro last night and when I was seated my waitress told me of a special that they were having. Heirloom tomatoes are in season and they marinated some of them and created a delicious salmon entrée. It consisted of risotto, grilled asparagus, grilled salmon, topped with marinated heirloom tomatoes. I finished my meal with a delicious 10 year old scotch.

Stopped in after movie at Barrywoods for drinks and appetizers. Very well priced cocktails. I had Moscow Mule. Very good. We shared shrimp and crab dip and pork fajita nachos. The dip was good but would have benefitted from some Tabasco or similar zip. The house made potato chips were great! The nachos were amazing! Chips were fresh made(not from a bag) and toppings were tasty but not so overloaded to make chips soggy. Couldn’t stop eating them! Ignore the exterior and give this place a try! We’ll be back

Love, love, love this place! We have gone 3 times in the last few weeks and try something new each time and each time the food has been outstanding. The staff is great, food is prompt. I would definitely recommend this place!

My husband and I live less than 3 minutes away from this place. We have fallen in love with the different daily specials and the everyday menu. Most of all the family atmosphere as soon as we walk in. The owners are so nice and everyone that works there. Have been telling everyone about this place and we will continue going here until we move or they close

We had the opportunity to visit BC’s brunch. 3 of the four to our group purchased the $ 10 bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s. I had the coffee and it was delish. The food was really great as well. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting too much because I had not heard of this restaurant in the Northland before. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. I also was pleased that a large portion of their meals are made from scratch. We had the opportunity of a great breakfast and an even better selection of pastas and salad dishes. Additionally, the dessert table was great too! The staff was very helpful and kind. All in all I was impressed and my Husband and I will be visiting in the next couple of weeks for dinner and their Happy Hour. I would suggest BC’s Bistro to all.

This review is for Sunday Brunch. It’s really nothing to write home about. The food was edible… always a plus. The crowd picked up around 11:30am and the service was pretty much, «try-to-make-eye-contact-or-wave-hands-to-try-and-get-the-attention-of-your-server-when-he-speed-walks-by-you-or-else-you-won’t-see-him-for-another-15-minutes» kind of service. There was a smörgåsbord of food available: two salads, fruit, biscuits, english muffins, bacon, sausage patties, gravy, chicken fingers, pancakes, cinnamon buns, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, mac & cheese, chicken tortellini, meaty red sauce pasta, another sort of pasta and an entire array of desserts. $ 13 for all you can eat isn’t bad but for the quality of the food that was provided, I thought it was overpriced.

Dang, and I was really excited too. I’m a big fan of anything all-you-can-eat, and when it’s brunch? Forgetaboutit. And then I learned the price? At $ 12, I knew I’d be there ASAP. I was prepared to fall in love. Fall in love I did not. In fact, because my expectations were so high the disappointment is palpable. — The environment. Now, I’ve been to plenty of nice strip-mall restaurants, but this isn’t one of them. It’s a dated, uncomfortable dining room. Drop ceilings and a real lack of design. The music was crappy Jack Johnson-esque bro jams. What? I was actually pretty disappointed the second we walked in the door, but I figured we’d give the food a chance. — The food. So, it’s a brunch buffet. A teeny-tiny one with surprisingly limited options. Eggs were cold, biscuits were hard. I opted to just go to town on their three pasta options(which seems an excessive proportion of their offerings?) and they were OK, but seemed overcooked. They had a number of dessert options, but none looked particularly appetizing. Needless to say, I found brunch very disappointing and couldn’t find anything in the space to inspire me to revisit. This is officially crossed off my list.

I was a bit hesitant about this place, despite it’s close proximity to my house because the strip mall building it is in isn’t the best looking. Thankfully a friend told me the chef was formerly at Nick ‘n Jakes and it was delicious. She was not wrong. Affordable, friendly staff, clean, and completely delicious. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was perfect — great taste on a crispy croissant with the best house-made chips(freshly made, too)! Plus I had a Long Island Iced Tea that was reminiscent of the brilliant ones at a local bar in my college town. Could not be happier.
