Love love the turkey avocado sandwich! Real turkey meat, huge chunks of avocado, sprouts. Comes with pickles, carrots, and cucumber. I recommend ordering a side of fries. This location is in the mall food court and mall parking is a slight pain. Menu is pretty extensive, I also recommend the Caesar salad, add chicken and avocado ask for extra dressing on the side

Good place to eat if you want hair in your food. Ahi Katsu was horrible. Undercooked and bad tasting. Look elsewhere…

You know when you have those days and you just need some comfort food? Well, satisfy your sadness with some goodness at I Love Country Café. I am frequently a visitor at the Windward Mall — I have many sad days — and always get the Portobello Mushroom burger. Um, so juicy, so good. It is a little messy so make sure you have plenty napkins.

Food was alright… greasy as heck tho with way too much butter it soaked thru Styrofoam container & leaked all over plastic bag. Gross!!! And expensive as heck! Definitely NOT worth it!

Food– is good. I would recommend the salmon salad with mango dressing. So ono. Hamburger steak is good too. Love it. This location is kind of slow. Waited in line for a while. Needs improvement in that area.

This review is not for the employees of I Love Country Café. Its for the management. $ 30 for A Salad, Lechon and a drink is ridiculous. Your prices just keep going up. And its not even a full blown restaurant! Its just a food stand. Its OK, heads up… big city diner is moving in to windward mall soon and this is the last time we will patronize your store. Which we have been coming to at least 3 times a week.

I ate here before but it wasn’t as bad as the last time I went… I went Wednesday 8−5−15 and the food was over cooked and dry. When I was trying to look at the menu the guy kept impatiently staring at me with an annoyed face because I wasn’t ordering fast enough… so I just ordered whatever. …was NOT happy at all. Not with the food or service. Lechon was dry Adobe fried rice– adobe was dry and the over easy egg was over cooked…

I have bittersweet feelings about this place. I was hesitant on writing a review because I wasn’t sure how to rate them. In the past month, I’ve visited 3 times. Went here with family who was visiting, looking for«local food» in the Windward Mall. They have a variety of plate lunches, sandwiches and burgers, sides, pasta, breakfast, bubble drinks — you name it! I had the garlic chicken plate with brown rice and tossed salad. The sides were normal. The chicken was boneless, tasteful, but kind of soft/mushy. Had the texture been different, I probably would have enjoyed it more. My visitors enjoyed their food. They had fried noodles and a breakfast plate. Went here a second time and had their Kalua Pig and Cabbage plate. It consists of a container full of rice and Kalua Pork is served over the bed of rice. However, the mac salad was just dumped on top and really ruined that portion of the plate. The pork and cabbage(and with all of their plates) are made to order which is good because they are served very fresh and hot. However, if they are busy(which they were), I feel they kind of rush… there was WAAAAAYY too much salt in the pork and cabbage, making about 5 bites edible and enjoyable, but nothing further than that. Went here a third time to see what the breakfast was all about. Had the spinach, mushroom, and garlic omelet with fried potatoes. Fried potatoes were way too hot and couldn’t eat them enjoyably for at least 7 minutes. Omelet was okay, but there was one part of it where all of the garlic was in one area. Except for that, that was probably my best food experience. My sister’s corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, and brown rice looked okay, so next time(if there is one) I will try that. This restaurant seems to be more about«quantity» and not quality. They have a very extensive menu and even have a dessert refrigerator on display. They have regular fountain drinks, bottled drinks, and even bubble drinks. But the quality just isn’t there, and it’s not like these plates are cheap — they are regular plate-lunch prices or maybe even a little higher. Would I go back? If I can’t find anything else to eat, MAYBE I’ll consider it.

Got the small portobello mushroom lasagna. It was $ 10 for one slice of lasagna. In my opinion, wasn’t worth it, wasn’t filling at all. Had to go somewhere else in the mall to get more food for lunch. Service was alright, when I asked how small the small was, the cashier rang me up for a small and told me my total, so I just let it slide. Now I’m wishing I spoke up and got a large instead. Food was okay, nothing outstanding. Considering coming back here but it’s definitely not a must.

You know when you go to Disneyland during those peak Summer months when all of the kids are on vacation from school? You end up waiting in line for hours on end waiting for thirty seconds of excitement on a ride. If you’d like to experience that here in Hawaii, this is the perfect place for you, the restaurant equivalent of a long line at Disneyland. It doesn’t matter if there are ten people in line(good luck with that), or just you, but because it seems like there’s only ever one, maybe two, people cooking one meal at a time, they operate at a snail’s pace. Here are some things you can do while you wait for your food: 1. Go upstairs to the movie theater and watch Jurassic World. 2. Catch up on a week’s worth of instagram pictures from literally every person you’ve ever followed. 3. Stare enviously at all of the people eating Hot Dog on a Stick. 4. Count the seconds one by one on the analog display of your Applewatch until the technology becomes obsolete. If you managed to survive the wait without passing out from hunger, congratulations! Because the food is genuinely quite good for mall food court food. Their breakfast foods like their omelets and particularly good. They also serve a few dishes with a delicious Kiawe grilled steak(better than Blazin’ Steaks at the other end of the food court, but you pay for it). My favorite dish is their adobo fried rice. It seems a little expensive, but it’s absolutely massive. Two people might still have a problem finishing it. It is worth the price, though. The adobo is flavored perfectly and there are bits of crispy fried skin sprinkled in that give it a nice crunch. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. Three stars because the people seem cool there and the food is good. I’ll stop here because my review is getting long, but I assure you it’s still shorter to read this than wait in line for your food to be ready.

We really enjoyed the Milky Toast. We ordered 3 of these and the portions are so big we were able to share each plate for 2 people. We also got the adobo fried rice that my kids gobbled up really quick. I enjoyed the Furikake Salmon salad especially the mango dressing. I look forward to trying more plates in the near future. I’ll be back for sure.

I love the concept, local gourmet comfort food. The problem is they just fail to execute and deliver. I had the Kailua pig eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was bland, tasteless, water downed. The Kailua pig was refrigerated, dried out with strands like pork jerkey. Oven roasted and liquid smoke applied, no flavor, no salt, made last week or frozen and reheated. The egg was undercooked. The food they have on display was cooked yesterday and then put out again on display the next morning. Just a wilted brownish dis — colored unappetizing mess. The service is heartless and not at all homely. No smile, no thank you, no customer service. The employee demeanor matches the quality of their food — heartless. I won’t be trying them again. I hope I don’t develop vomiting and diarrhea.

The food looked good but when we got our breakfast fried rice… It was salty… We had to ask to return it for regular rice… The customer service was ok. They don’t really say hi or thank you. I don’t know if we will come back here.

I don’t know why I came back here. I think that the pictures of the food makes them look so good. I had the steak and eggs. Eggs are my favorite thing to eat so I really want them to be over easy — not over medium and broken. The steak was very tough — about one level below from beef jerky. It was tasty though. Just be careful to chew it a lot.

This restaurant in the Windward Mall food court has a HUGE menu. The number of breakfast items was especially surprising to me – nearly equal to the number of lunch/dinner items. The food is pretty good and comes in heaping servings. The prices are decent — perhaps high-ish for a mall food court, but comparable to this type(and amount) of food elsewhere.

I don’t really go to Windward Mall but went on an errand for work and decided to grab lunch in the food court. I used to like going to this place years ago when there was one by ala moana. Service was very unfriendly and the one who took my order was being rude by talking to her friend while trying to take my order. Not very approachable or professional. My food took forever! I waited at least half an hour just to get my food. They were out of benedicts that day so I ordered a breakfast wrap and country styled potatoes which were good and filling. But other than that, I didn’t have a good experience here. Probably the first and last time I’ll be going to this location.

I do not love Country Café Good hamburger, but not good enough to keep me coming back to the rude women working that counter. I will probably never return to this little spot because of the service we received on both occasions. Absolutely rude the two women we have encountered there. Not one smile, no apologies when the order was wrong, & one of them even blatantly lied to cover her own derrière. Just shameless, really. Also noticed that they reused the eggs from one of the plates we returned. Turns me off a bit because we had actually walked away with the order… they don’t know if we had done something to it, or had tasted it, but they reused it for SOMEONEELSE’S order. Just… yuck

Service: –2 stars Food: 3 stars Price — Average Went here today and decided to order a clubhouse sandwich. Assumed it came with french fries. Mom and I waited about 20 minutes, after a few other people who ordered after us received their food, we went up there to find out what was wrong, realizing they put us down for a seafood club at the same time. They had just forgot about us, and ended up having to re-do the charges since the regular club is cheaper. Apparently the regular club takes 3 minutes to make. All the while these girls were extremely rude. THEY forgot about us, THEY charged us for the wrong sandwich, yet I guess we were inconveniencing them by wanting what we ordered in a reasonable time. Onto the food. Sandwiches there do not come with fries so if you want fries make sure you order them. We really wanted the fries… The sandwich itself was not a clubhouse. When we asked them about it they rudely told us, «That’s how we make the clubhouse». It was a regular turkey sandwich(not toasted), with shredded roast turkey, ham, bacon, alfalfa sprouts, tomato, cheese and lettuce. Yes, on two slices of untoasted bread. Funny, the seafood clubhouse is exactly like a true clubhouse sandwich only with a scoop of some kind of seafood mixture instead of the turkey and bacon. I’m not sure why the classic clubhouse sandwich is made the way it is. They should put a picture of it up on that wall of theirs, or provide a description. All this being said, it actually tasted pretty good. The bread was thick and a little dry, but otherwise tasty sandwich. I gave the food 3 stars because though it tasted good, it wasn’t at all what it should have been, I ended up eating something I didn’t want to begin with. Service was so bad they get a MINUS2 stars, bringing them to a total of 1 star overall. I will not be eating here again.

Comfort food to go. I must be lucky so far as I haven’t had a bad experience here. Granted I only went once and tried a breakfast wrap. No complaints there, the wrap was great and really filling. I would rather have thin cut french fries but their deep fried cubed potatoes were alright. The menu is diverse and has local dishes mixed in. This location can be crowded so prepare to wait a bit for your order. Must be popular for a reason right? Subsequent visits will solidify my opinion.

As soon as you walk into the Food Court of the Windward Mall from the Haiku Road entrance near Ruby Tuesday, I Love Country Café greets you with a huge display of REALFOOD — the Specials of the Day! There are so many choices, that it’s quite difficult to choose something to eat! To the left of the display is the refrigerated case full of tempting desserts! EVERYTHING is so good — especially the jello cream cheese cake, crème brûlée, and the differnt varieties of tapiocas & cakes… mmm! Last night, I got the Kiawe Chicken Salad special. I usually don’t like chicken, but this one was moist, tasty and had a slight crispiness & smokiness to the CHICKENSKIN! I know that if my doctor read this, he would really scold me because we both know that the skin is not good for those cholesterol numbers, but once in a while, it’s okay, right? I’ll just take an extra Fish Oil pill, ok? Back to the salad — it was beautiful and crisp! I enjoyed the alfalfa sprouts and how they held onto the spicy Asian dressing to give the tomato wedges and cucumber slices a kick! The sweet shredded carrots added color to the fresh bed of iceberg lettuce — yum! The take out package contained a plastic knife & fork, some napkins, and 2 extra servings of dressing. Very convenient and thoughtful! When you’re ready to order, just tell the friendly cashier what you’d like and she will give you a number. You can watch the cook prepare your meal — it’s made to order! You’ll get your container full of delicious and healthy nutrition!
