This place never let me down! Hawaiian spicy poke(can tell its fresh), smoke meat with brown rice, Ahi Katsu! Sooooo ono! Highly recommended! Every time I’m down Kaneohe side I don’t want to eat anywhere else but here!

Their steak is a cheap cut, real tough to bite into, probably chuck roast which isn’t good for grilling but for a slow cooker. Spicy ahi wasn’t that great either. Maybe other items on menu are good but left very disappointed. Will not return.

Alot of people who VISIT oahu tell me «oh go here go there they have good this and that» well I dont listen to them. because i like to ask the locals who are on the plus size… if you know what i mean, cz they know where the good eats are… Fresh catch sure caught my appetite with everything from the salmon poke, to the salmon plate to the furikake fries… There can be long lines but long lines mean good food and good food is always worth the wait.

As seen on Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives, Fresh Catch offers a variety of poke and other Hawaiian favorites. I love poke but I didn’t see a huge difference between this poke and other places. It was still good but the prices were a little high… we ordered some shoyu poke, spicy ahi poke, octopus poke and some smoked meat. Everything tasted great and the place was packed! If you’re looking for a quick(that is if the line is not out the door) place to get a bite to eat or carry out, Fresh Catch is a great spot. They offer a variety of platters, poke and have a daily menu as well. It’s worth a try!

Very dissapointed in the inconsistent food. It was my favorite but it’s a crap shoot on what you get. The Laulau is very dry and no flavor. So sad.

Fresh Catch is my go-to for poke in Kaneohe town. The poke is always fresh and a crowd-pleaser. I mainly come here for the salmon poke, because I love salmon and not many places make salmon poke. But their variations of ahi poke is equally pleasing. Prices are higher than places like Foodland, but that’s the price you pay for fresh fish, not frozen. In addition to poke, Fresh Catch also offers plate lunches, daily specials, and sashimi platters. Their plate lunches seem to be hit or miss. If this is your first time here, stick to the poke. It’ll keep you coming back for more. This location has a lot of free parking for customers, and a drive-thru window for phone orders.

Wow I was expecting so much more after reading the reviews. I think people have forgotten what good pole tastes like. Part of the problem may be that I’m a traditionalist. Fish, maunauea(ogo), and inamona, maybe some chili pepper, is my favorite poke. There was one poke that fit that description by looks but taste was another thing entirely. They had a wide variety of other styles of poke and I had bought quite a few as we were headed to visit family in Kahuku. I found the majority of the different styles to be overly sweet. I also ordered lomi o’io and dried ahi. The lomi was ok but there was a hint of something in there that I didn’t recognize and could have been left out. The dried fish was more damp than it was dry. I’m sure they’ll do fine without me coming back judging by the reviews but I’ll not be returning.

Fresh Catch is virtually a deli, Hawaiian style. You will find all sorts of raw fish, poke and okay, maybe some raw meat. It’s definitely a great place to grab a quick bite or to bring back home to add to whatever you’re already cooking. They also have a daily menu and specials so make sure you check that out before you order everything. I made the mistake of ordering first and noticed all this good stuff on their menu after the fact! Spicy Hawaiian — Tuna mixed with white/green onions, spicy mayo and masago. An extremely fresh little bowl of deliciousness that’ll leave you wanting more. They have just the right amount of spicy mayo to raw fish but I was longing for more masago. I love the feel of this place. A no frills deli backed by downright good food. I hope to come back to try everything on their daily menu. Yes, everything.

Service was quick, booths to sit at, place has ac. They did not let us know that the crab stuffed ahi roll was cooked ahi and deep fried… The Hawaiian plate lunch was really good. We asked for poi with it but got rice. Pretty silly considering the crab roll came w 2 scoops of rice. The plate lunch is really enough food for 2 people.

I was craving for a poke bowl. I didn’t want to go to Foodland and couldn’t make it to Tamura’s because of my schedule, so I stopped by Fresh Catch. It was the best quick stop I’ve made to a place in a while! I got the poke bowl with ahi limu poke and two scoops of rice. It was the right amount for me, but might be too small if you’re really hungry. I’m sure they can serve you more if needed. The ahi limu was fresh and just right. I just wish they had an option to get brown rice! My boyfriend got the fried ahi sandwich set which comes with fries and a fountain drink. We waited about 10 minutes for the sandwich and fries, but it was worth the wait. Once we hopped into the car I stole some of his fries and they were amazing! The mayo sauce and furikake were in containers. I tried a few bites of it and the furikake fries were also delicious, too! Bf loved the crispy&juicy sandwich and I enjoyed my poke bowl. We came here on a Sunday late afternoon, but the place was FULL. Despite how busy the place was, the staff were really friendly and chill. People come and go here so you should be able to find a seat if you wait for a couple of minutes.

My fav spot on this side of the island! My 2nd favorite poke on the entire island and the Big Belly sandwich is one of my favorite guilty pleasures! I initially was stuck in the poke fried rice, which like other dishes/plates here, far exceeded expectation! Not only were the portions great, but the flavors were amazing and you can’t beat the price! Much appreciated by locals as a lot of places on the island jack up prices because of the consistent flow of tourists. Living on the north shore I would love to get a big order of poke fried rice under $ 10, it would never happen up here! The first time I decided to branch out was an amazing win as the Big Belly sandwich is equivalent to heaven in or around my mouthal area! A battered and deep fried portion of belly, on lettuce with tomato, onions, a fried egg, and a drizzle of some kind of sweet aioli or mayo, all on a tasty fresh roll… oh my!!! The fish here is equally amazing! My go to is the spicy shoyu as its more of a sweet teriyaki + a slight kick of heat. I could live off poke!

Simple shop that serves up ahi tuna poke, octopus poke and salmon poke. Their salmon poke was different in a good way. I liked their Ahi Limu Poke for the most out of the Shoyu ahi poke and Spicy ahi poke. Their kimchi tako was too sweet for my liking. They offer non-sashimi dishes, such as beef stew with rice, oxtail soup and fish and chips. My favorite was their oxtail broth. Nice and homely tasting. Standard seafood dining area and you order at the counter.

I think you can confidently give a restaurant 5 stars when your mouth starts to water just thinking about the lunch you had there. The staff was very friendly and helped me pick the right poke bowl. They even gave me some samples which helped me choose … 1) The Salmon Poke(which was my favorite). I loved the sweet flavor. It was different than any other salmon dish I’d had before. A must(in my humble opinion) 2) The Shoyu Ahi. Great flavor! I was able to get a bowl that had half ahi and half salmon. I looooove a lot of rice, and one scoop was just enough. If you like your meals heavy on the rice, I’d recommend getting 2 scoops. Meal goes great with an Arizona Ice Tea!

Happen to be in Kaneohe and stopped by, good selection of fresh poke reasonable prices. I ended up getting the Teri furukake salmon. Very good! Perfectly cooked and the mayo/furukake mixture was perfect! Large portion and I asked for no starch all salad and they gladly accommodated. Lettuce they use is good not those prepackaged types. Dressing tastes homemade. Casual place but Ono food. It got busy right before closing with people from the beach and people on their way home. I’ll definitely come again and sample some poke and hawaiian food. The other location is in Waialae in town, same owners should be just as good. Yum!

This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite casual dining spots — many varieties of fresh poke, which you are generously allowed to sample. My family loves the pastele fries — a sort of Hawaiian analog to chili cheese fries made with a tasty pork stew. Almost everything we’ve had here has been good, with the sad, recent exception of the steak plate. On a recent visit, our party had two of them, and both were tough and not very flavorful. So we’ll stay away from that from now on. Others in our party raved about the furikake seared ahi and the ahi katsu. Prices are very, very reasonable. On the whole, it was a good experience. The service has always been excellent. I’ll come back again and again.

HAHA! The funny thing about this review is that my fiancé or I both do not really eat seafood(I do, on occasion). BUT… LOVE the drive-thru(phone order first, then drive-thru pick-up) LOVE the staff(always very friendly and sociable) ABSOLUTELYLOVE the desserts! They have a baker who bakes red velvet cupcakes and other goodies, but this is my favorite red velvet stop! ANDLOVE the fried chicken plate! Good price, boneless fried chicken, tossed greens with the salad dressing that is made by the owner! Beef stew was very good, although I had it only twice. Funny how we don’t really eat fish/seafood, but we still make it a point to come here!

Food: 4 Stars The raw fish is always good. The different varieties always taste fresh and never frozen, which is what I look for in poke. The furikake fries are delicious. They put the furikake and mayo on the side, so the fries don’t get soggy. The fries without the sauce are always so crispy. I promise, it won’t disappoint. The crab stuffed ahi roll is good. It has been talked about several times prior to me trying it. I enjoy it on the occasional Wednesday, but I can’t say I’m a #1 fan of it. I would much prefer other things off of the menu. Pastele stew. Melt in your mouth delicious. The flavors are delectable. I always look for a good pastele stew and this place has it. Smoked meat and onions – nothing too outstanding. It’s good. I like smoked meat and this didn’t disappoint me, but it isn’t the best thing on the menu. Steak plate – really cheap for a steak place. It’s good. Location: 3.5 Stars You could easily miss this place because it’s on a busy road. The entrance to the parking lot behind is a little narrow and gave me quite a bit of trouble, but it’s manageable. It’s clean inside and cozy. Service: 4 Stars The people are nice there. They are much kinder than that people at the Waialae location. The food comes out fast. They provide free water cups, too, so that’s good! Overall, I’d come here if I was on the Windward side. It’s a bit of a trek for me, but I enjoy the food, the service, and the environment.

Furikake Salmon plate is one tasty dish! My favorite here, in fact. Poke is incredibly fresh. Staff here seem to always be friendly & quick to get food out. They have a pickup window that some confuse as a drive thru window. This is a great option if you’re not looking to park & go inside. My food is usually ready within 10 – 15 mins. Drive up to the window, pay, & pick up your delicious fresh catch!

Great place to come to for a good plate lunch or some good poke when you’re out in Kaneohe! Favorites here of ours are their shoyu poke, their spicy poke with chili pepper oil, their ahi katsu, pastele fries back when they were available, and their spicy ahi. Soooo good! You order poke plates separately from plate lunches, and you’re allowed to sample. You can also choose to have poke combinations, if you’re like me and not able to make up your mind from the wide selection! Service here is also quick. I’ve seen them handle lunch rushes quite well, and the restaurant is quite roomy. There are large tables and a lot of space to sit down, whether you’re waiting for your food or dining in. They do offer liquor here too, however I think you have to consume the liquor off the premise. You wouldn’t be able to have a beer with your food, but that’s perfect if you’re going to take your grinds to the beach! Prices here are a bit high, but they’re about the same as Zippy’s or L&L prices. Also, if they’re offering fresh seafood and fresh ingredients of higher quality, I would expect the prices to be a bit high. All in all, I recommend it here! Stop by here if you’re looking for a good poke place in Kaneohe!

You can’t get it any fresh than fresh catch! I most certainly love this place. I love their ahi katsu it’s most certainly the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten! First when you enter the store you’ll already see the setting and the way the place is decorated. Is a fishermen theme. They got nets on the walls and fish like decorations. They you walk towards the front where you see their fresh pokes. They have a variety of dishes and other seafood. I’ve tried their smoked spicy tako poke. Omg ITWASONO!!!
