Clean rooms with microwave, fridge and a 5 port USB charger. Hairdryer and TV. Great wifi. Our 10 year old loved the pool, with lots of sunchairs in a nice location. Continental breakfast, you have to eat it in the room, trays for fetching food is in the room.
Reasonable priced, around $ 100 for two queen sized beds.

Big warm clean room, allowed little dog, WiFi worked great, fridge and microwave. Best of all, very reasonable!

Well, it was one of the less expensive places in Kanab last night. $ 100. So will go an extra star. Otherwise, pretty bad. The worst of it was the cigarette smell in the room. When I confirmed that it really was a nonsmoking room, the guy at the desk said it had always been one. Clearly folks had been smoking in that room for sure. Probably all rooms. And I thought at the time, how would the front desk ever know? Seems only the cleaning staff would. Then I saw the cleaning lady outside our room this morning, puffing away on her cig. She probably can’t smell it. Bottom line; when booking a room near the parks, in otherwise very small towns, do your homework and book early. And the least expensive are not likely to be worth it.

The rooms are clean and fairly big. There is a refrigerator. The property is poorly maintained. The blacktop on the parking lot is severely deteriorated and there were untreated ant hills in the cracks. The Hot Tub was green! The pool is quite cold. Breakfast has to be taken from the motels office and doesn’t amount to much. Yet, if you’re in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. Why ?Because the rooms are ok, there’s a refrigerator, I did swim in the pool and for this area, it’s cheap. Kanab is a nice town to stay in. If you’re hitting Zion and Bryce and maybe Coral Pink Sand Dunes and Best Friends– it’s well located and there are stores and restaurants here. Panguitch looks positively God forsaken and Springdale– captive tourist ville. You can actually walk to Rocking V from here. Other motels in Kanab were absurdly expensive. So Rodeway proves to be a find! But get those ants!

So when I drove up, I was concerned. It doesn’t look like much. But the people were very nice, our room was clean, and you can’t beat the price. I would stay again. Unlike some places that offer free Wifi, this system worked great.
